While far from a gripping unputdownable (if that’s a word!) read, the radical proposals made in this book are well argued and definitely in tune with our times.

I bought the book a couple of years ago but have only just read it. So I don’t know if there is an updated edition but the events of the last couple of years in global politics have managed to both date it and make it more relevant at the same time!

Democracy is in turmoil and the world seems to be taking a step back to autocracy to find a solution. Maybe we should be listening to these arguments and giving the people a chance to find a better way forwards.
