Bib Rizer rounds out the collection with a really interesting version of the Cinderella story in “Glass Slippers, Hardly Worn”.
Delilah Devlin has masterfully collected a group of stories with twists and turns on the handsome-rogue-and-damsel-in-distress theme, which tweak the stories in such a way that at the end you’re left smiling and thinking, That turned out even better than I thought it would. This is light, frothy reading, something to entertain whether you just have a few moments to read just one story at a time or hours to read one after another. No matter how you try it, you won’t be disappointed.
This was a really quick read for me. There are a lot of stories in here but they are all really short, fun reads. There are a lot of different types of rogues/bad boys that the heroines interact with, and sometimes the heroine is a bad girl too. There are a lot of different moods in the different stories but I enjoyed them all. I really liked Elle James' one and a few others. I felt that they were all worth reading and liked the variety. All the stories flow well and they have different endings. Some are happily ever afters and some are just the beginning for them. I felt that they fit their stories and so it worked for me. The stories all flow really well. This was a fun anthology to read. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This is a great collection of very short stories - just right for when you only have a few minutes to read something - like in a waiting room or right before bed.
Delilah Devlin has been my queen of short, sexy, hot stories for quite some time now and Rogue Hearts is another hit for me. I've been a avid reader of Elle James longer stories and now she come up with a great short story with a twist I didn't anticipate; I loved it!. (BTW - in case you don't know it already here's a fun tidbit - these two great writers are sisters.)
The current price of 99 cents is worth it for just these two stories but 14 short stories for only 99 cents is a real bargain. Even if the price goes up you'll still be getting a lot of fun stories and you might find a new favorite author among them!
Oh My God! If you want a hot read, look no further! This one will have you sizzling where you sit. Most of these authors, I had read something of theirs in the past. Erzabet Bishop, Emma Jay, and Elle James are frequent go to authors, the others were new. Yep, I have more new faves now. You will get sucked in with the first story and it does not let up. All you can do is white knuckle that Kindle and hang on for the ride. If this anthology doesn’t get your blood pumping in all the right places, check to make sure you still have a pulse.
This is a great collection of fourteen romantic short stories with men behaving badly and the women that fall in love with them. So far I've read Rogue Hearts by Delilah Devlin and Billionaire & The Jewel Thief by Elle James. I enjoyed them both and I'm looking forward to reading more of the stories in this collection.
I was given an ARC for an honest review. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.
A collection of 14 stories that contain rogues from both past and present. These bad boys steal the hearts of women everywhere. The stories are fast paced and with plenty of suspense and steaminess that will keep you glued to your seat until the very end. Loved it!
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. I loved them all. This is an awesome set of stories I could not put down. Each story is a stand alone story with a HEA. I recommend this book to all bad boy lovers. Happy reading.
Only read the first story and it ended on a ginormous cliffhanger. No thanks. I have no interest in reading the rest of the book since it's an anthology, the rest of the stories more than likely end the same.
