I remember the first time I tried it, it tasted like poison. And somehow the poison burned the fear out of me. For a moment, I broke free of my past and the scary, unfamiliar world that terrified me every hour of every day. It felt like I could do anything. But then came the fall. And eventually I had to crash. This is the start of my story. The start of my addiction to drugs, to numbness, to self-destruction. It’s not pretty. It’s not romantic, at least in the beginning and middle. And most of the time, it's painful and heartbreaking. I guess it’s not just my story, though. It’s also Sage’s too. Because we sort of fell together. And of course, it’s the dead girl’s. Because without her, there might not even be a story.
Jessica Sorensen is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author from the snowy mountains of Wyoming. When she's not writing, she spends her time reading and hanging out with her family.
This story is amazing however it was advertised as a new book that was published on October 16, 2019… It is NOT... it’s an old book from 2017… This is such a scam. Five dollars wasted on a book that’s supposed to be new but is not. Even though Jessica Sorenson is an amazing author I will not be buying her books again. This is not the first time this has happened with this author. It should be stated it’s an old book being re-published! Shame on this author!!! Buyers beware
Loved the story line, but disappointed with the last book. The not knowing what happen to Sage and Sadie. Hope another one coming soon. I rated it a 5 because the first 4 were hard to put down. Fated by Darkness was a short read, unlike the others. Cannot wait to see what happen next.
Two people now question themselves..same or insane. Sorensen leaves you wanting more. Will Sage escape his father and will Sadie escape her past? I definitely want book 6 soon!
I should've known better than to read this. The author likes to suck you into the story and then leave you hanging. I think I will wait until the whole story is out before I finish it.
Quick YA read. Story is about Sadie, Ayden's (from the Unraveling You series) sister. About how she's dealing with being free from her father's abusive treatment. She sees ghosts from get past. Sage, Ayden's band mate, is also featured and a past link between he and Sadie in hinted at. Cliffhanger ending. Alt POV. Sadie and Sage.

I literally screamed when I reached the last story page of this e-book. I now left hanging and wondering as to what happened with Sadie and what was Sage's how life like? I can't wait for the next book in this series to be released...
