Her Destiny
Selena Perry is content with her life. At least she is now. She has a job she enjoys, even though it’s a bit on the morbid side according to some. A place to call her own. And past that’s as close to a distant memory as its going to get. If loneliness grips her heart and tries to squeeze the life out of her from time to time, she can deal with it. Well, as long as her furry little companion Felix keeps visiting and bringing with him a small slice of peace and happiness. Malcolm Turner is a Thaloc, a shape shifting being able to take various forms of his choosing. But more importantly, he is Selena’s familiar, the one she calls Felix. He is her watcher. Felix has become her friend, she feeds him, tells him about her evenings at work-she adores him. FANTASTIC beautifully written story that encompasses all the necessities, danger, fiery passion, seduction, humor, two fascinating characters, and trust. I so enjoyed this story; a most entertaining read. If you treasure shifter fantasy this is a terrific book for your library. {I was gifted this book and this is my honest review}. In shifter fantasy romance the possibilities are endless, but always fascinating. Without reservations I recommend this book.

Selena Perry has been working nights at the morgue. She has noticed an increase in strange deaths. Sleeping days and working nights doesn't leave much time for a social life. The only male companionship she gets is from the stray cat that follows her about.
Malcolm Turner is a shifter and a guardian for Selena, who is more than she knows. When the time is right he will show his true self and teach all she will need to know.
A short, sexy and entertaining story. I'm assuming that it's a prequel for a series. It left me wanting more.

I really like this book. If the author continues this as a series, I'll be sure to grab them as they are published. This was a free read from the author, and I'm glad I downloaded and read it. I started with the author's "Tiger Np", but did not read past the first book. I found her "Freefall" series and I love it. I hope this gets continued, as it has been a long time since the last book.
I like the author's writing style and pace, and her stories are always good. Highly recommended reading.
