Miranda Rose absolutely lives for writing. Unfortunately, there aren’t many readers that live for her books.

At least she can distract herself from bad reviews with her favorite hobby - trolling Charlie Shivers online. That dinosaur smut peddler wouldn’t know literature if it mounted him from behind. And, for further distraction, she meets the world’s hottest guy at her favorite writing conference, and when he mounts her from behind, she forgets all about that wannabe author.

Until she realizes Mr. Hottie Pants isn’t the cover model she’d presumed. He’s her archenemy in the flesh, Charlie Shivers.

She’s mortified!

And yet she still can’t keep her pants on around him.

Joe McCoy, aka Charlie Shivers, is over the moon attending his first Romancing The World conference as a panelist, especially when he meets the smoking author at the bar. But now that he’s discovered the true identity of his one-night stand, he’s tangled in a sticky web, thicker than a spider shifter (dibs on writing that one next!)

Though, sleeping with the enemy is kind of hot.

And scandalous.

And awesome.

But then he finds himself falling hard for the too-serious novelist, and now he’s pretty sure there’s no way he’ll make it out on top.

* * * *

There are some reads which must have the right attitude to get the "full flavor". You have to be open to just go with the flow and let it take you where it wants to go. Kayti McGee was new to me. I didn't have a clue of her writing style or anything she had done before. All I had to go on was a blurb which caught my attention and made me say, Yes... I think I could get into this...

And I Did :DDD

The idea is nothing profound...A romance author, Randi Rose, plugging away at her craft...churning out books she loves but not receiving the audience she feels she deserves. She takes the time to craft her books... feeling deeply about all of it. Has a fair fanbase but is stuck in the middle ...not hitting the top 100 on Amazon or receiving the recognition or respect from peers she admires.

Match that with our other author, Charlie Shivers. He has come up with a genre unique to itself... Dino Porn. It is written to cause stomachs to cramp from laughing so hard at the craziness of it all and he is churning out these puppies faster than he can think up a new title. His books climb the top 100 in minutes. He is basking in the fun of everyone who reads his stuff is in on the joke.

I was not familiar with the infamous Chuck Tingle and his Dino Porn, for real. This is a guy who has a fanbase and was nominated for the prestigious Hugo Ward for writing. Kayti says on her website this was an homage to him.

Everyone but Randi, that is...

Now let me share for a minute... The way this book is written is perfect...as we get alternating POV's. We are with Randi as she drinks her wine which helps her get through all the angsty writing passages of her book...We are with Charlie while he shoots the sh*t with his Bros and their banter/ teasing and just stupid silliness adding up to additional titles for future books.
Both of the characters' humor is hysterically funny in a silly, true way of how friends talk and how people think in their heads. All of this sets the tone for what is to come...the fun and games, the self-doubt, the discovery of what is really happening and everything else surrounding them.

So we have the set-up of Randi hating the success Charlie is having. She doesn't feel he is qualified to even be called an author, let alone writer. She has tracked his books with alerts; bought them and then has done one star reviews, blistering attacks of his credibility. She, on the other hand, has been producing works for quite some time and needs a breakthrough. The Annual Romance Convention is taking place in her town of Kansas City meaning it will be on her turf. She is desperate to line up one of the Top 5 publishers to represent her. She feels this will be her chance.

Charles is not immune to feelings; he works hard in his own way. Always having a notebook with him, writing down his inspirations, having them ready for when he is ready to go. His tight group of bros and their Buddy Lunches are the ultimate bonding time for these guys... all talking in Dinosaur/Bro speak about their days, women and drinking beer. Nothing too heavy or serious... not the code.

Charles is going to be at the convention too; he is looking to see how to market better and maybe nab a deal of foreign rights...also wouldn't hurt to possibly hook up with one of his fans... The list of opportunities is endless for this hot guy.

These two meet, (DUH), hook up with using their real names. Have the best sex of their lives. She leaves before he wakes. The next day they are both scheduled to be on a panel discussion... only to discover they are Charles Shivers and Randi Rose....dum ta dum dum....Mortal Enemies....

This book is so much fun. The banter, the inside reader-blogger-author-street team directives... all of it was just right on. The chemistry of these two was off the charts and sexy times were hot, happening, and seriously funny.

There were current references to the political scene which had me choking and laughing with tears running down my face. It was the type were you have to stop and gather yourself...letting out huge sighs.

But all jokes aside... it was also a very smart story about the politics of the publishing world, the way books are promoted and how reviews and stats can be manipulated. Things are not always as they seem or handled the way they should...

What was the final cherry on top of all of this was how we saw each character mirror the other in real time... both realizing how they felt for each other... both having to take things into consideration and form different ideas.

Kayti McGee had her tongue planted firmly in her cheek for most of this book, however, she also was doing what my dad would say... Kidding on the square. Through all of the cuttingly funny jokes, the innuendo of gaming the system of reviews etc...she gave us a very clear picture of how ratings and popularity can foster unbecoming behavior. She had the smarts to couple all of this with a terrific love story, too. Which to me confirms, Kayti McGee knows from where she speaks.
Very entertaining in so many ways.

Such a weird book honestly. If there's something that puts me off, it's when authors introduce their own books like this: "omg you're going to wee in your pants by hilariousness of this book!!1!". Ugh, just no. The characters were interesting and the story was, too. However, I didn't like the writing at all. This is a pretty short book and I've skimmed most of the conversations the characters had with their friends because I was bored out of my mind. This book had potential, let's be honest, but the humor was just okay, not "going to pee in my pants" good. Joe is weird as hell and so is Miranda, but they are awesome together. I loved their conversations and... well, let's just say that Kayti McGee can write a damn good sex scene. There's a bit of an insta-love here because these two know each other for a few days and they're already feeling like they're in love. Ugh. But, like I said, my biggest problem was the writing itself. Especially when it comes to Joe's POV - we get it, you have a big dick and you're a Sex God, now shut the hell up.

Kayti McGee hit it out of the park with Topped! I read this book in one sitting while I was on a flight, and I disturbed the people around me when I started crying-snorting-can’t-breathe-laughing. There’s this particular dress up scene … you’ll know it when you read it. And now I’m laughing again! Man, it really tickles me whenever I think about that scene.

What can I tell you about Topped? This book is hilarious and smart and witty and so damn hot! Miranda and Joe are lovable, sexy, zany, and ridiculously awesome. What I’ve come to think of as Kayti McGee’s singular humor is on point in this book. When you’re not doubled over in laughter, you’ll be squirming at the sexy scenes and swooning during the tender ones.

But don’t be fooled because this book isn’t all laughs, dino porn, and hate sex. Topped has a lot of heart as well. Miranda talks about her writing process and the struggles of being an indie author, which, as it turns out, is not all about banging cover models and writing bestsellers. Who knew?! It was interesting to get behind-the-scenes insight. And while Joe’s writing process is much different and lighter, he starts to question his role of writing silly dino porn and wonders if he has what it takes to write the “real” deal.

Miranda and Joe seem perfectly suited, but will their arch nemesis status prevent true love? Watching these two on their journey from one night stand to hate sex to maybe something more was completely enthralling. Can a serious author make it work with a dino porn peddler?

Basically, you guys all need to 1-click this book because I loved it so much! Then come and find me so we can discuss that epilogue. I’m still reeling!

Topped should have a warning on the cover: Relieve your bladder prior to reading Topped, the author is not responsible for any leakage while enjoying this story. Topped is a sexy, Rom-Com satire that causes intense laughter that eventually leads to wheezing because it's that funny.

Joe McCoy, aka Charlie Shivers, proud smut slinger, writes outrageous stories including his famous dino butt porn. Yup, dino's doing it in the butt (yes, dinosaur erotica does exist on Amazon). He's proud of his writing and has a large fan base including a street team. His sales are strong. All is good, he has his bros and his writing until he attends the Romance The World conference and unsuspectingly has a one night stand with his arch nemesis, Randi Rose.

Miranda Rose, aka Randi Rose, is a dedicated romance author who can't move passed mid-lister. She writes from the heart, or better said from the glass of wine. She's dedicated to her art and is not able to comprehend how Charlie Shivers books even exist. She even takes the time to read them and write one-star reviews. Miranda couldn't be more excited about attending the Romance The World conference. She plans on schmoozing with publishers and seeking approval from successful authors. What she didn't expect was to be "Banged By My Hatred Of My One Night Stand, Charlie Shivers, by Randi Rose."

"Maybe enemies can become frenemies-with-bennies after all."

The story does not falter. Joe and Miranda have a heated, love/hate relationship mixed with plenty of laughs and steamy sex. I will never think of Donald Trump or dino porn the same way again after reading this book. There is of course a moral to the story about minding one's pride which is well told through humor and sexiness, well done Kayti McGee. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this story, 5 Stars. Topped is one my 2016 favorites.

5 stars because I can't go any higher!!!!

This book has it all:

intense emotions check
hot cover models check
dino porn double check
catty bitches club meeting

But what takes the cake and I think makes the entire book an award winner is the Zombie Robots. It is the classiest book yet, Charlie is definitely going to win awards. Oops, this is supposed to be about Kayti's book not Charlie's. Well, perhaps once you read both, you will realize which is more life changing than the other!

This book is insane and ridiculous, but i couldn't stop laughing. I was actually kicked out of bed by my hubby because I was not able to stop. I honestly feel that Dino porn is a trigger for me too, but after this book righteous indignation is replaced with inappropriate sniggering. I can't tell you how much fun this book is. YOU WILL HAVE TO READ IT!!!

To Kayti:

This may be wrong and well, that's ok, but I need you to know:
Kayti McGee, I Becky Rendon, would Zombie Robot butt-Fuck the shit out of you!
Topped was honestly the funniest most insane book I've read this year and I loved every minute of it!
I intend to start my writing career with Canoodling Conifers as homage to you, the great Charlie Shivers, and Randi of course.

OMG! Let me start off by saying that TOPPED by Kayti McGee was SEXY, HILARIOUS, and absolutely RIDICULOUS GOOD FUN! This was my first read from Kayti on her own, and I got to say, I LOVE her style! Her writing? Smart, fun, and full of wit! I was IN once I read the blurb, but MY GOD, I didn't expect something like this! I couldn't wipe the grin off of my face. Full of 'TMI' and 'BRO' moments, Miranda and Joe will leave you in stitches with their entertaining, and sometimes absurd, banter.

This lively comedic enemy-to-lovers romance will knock you on your ass with every turn of the page. Two authors fight to be on TOP of the bestseller list, end up challenging each other in ways they didn't see coming! Romance readers will bust a gut when they meet Miranda and her sharp-wit! They will have their pants charmed off by, Dino-Porn Extraordinaire Joe McCoy, aka Charlie Shivers. Together, Miranda and Joe, are NOT a match made in heaven, but their chemistry is RIDICULOUS and HOT!

TOPPED was just an AWESOME break from my angsty reading! It made me smile, blush, and laugh so hard I almost peed a little. Kayti McGee made herself a new fan with this one! RomCom junkies...you HAVE to check this one out!

I thought Under Covers was THE funniest book I ever read. Shut the front door - Topped was even funnier.

Thinking about my review whilst driving home from work, I was snort laughing in the car! What the F kind of boxed wine was Kayti drinking when she wrote this book? She has to, has to have been shit faced, pissed as a fart, off her trolley!

I never ever use LOL (I hate it) so instead I will say, I laughed so much I may have weed.

Miranda Rose aka Randi Rose romance writer with no street team (sad face) and low levels of sales hates dinoporn author Charlie Shivers.

Joe McCoy aka Charlie Shivers, broseph, bromerang, brosophocles, and my personal favourite Bromplestiltskin, hates his own personal 1 star troll.

Rainbow sparkly dinosaurs. Donald Trump. I cannot deal with life right now. I want some of the fermented grapes Kayti has been having.

Totally bonkers. Totally brilliant. Totally can't wait to read more of this weirdly wonderful author.

No dinosaurs or trees were harmed in the writing of this review.

Topped was one hilarious, ridiculous, sexy as hell and awesome book! It’s a story of enemies, lovers, bizarre-smut and a crazy author’s convention. I cracked up the whole time reading this book. Miranda and Joe were archenemies in the author’s world and they took their rivalry to the ultimate level. The truth was that they didn’t know who they really were, or how they looked like, so, when they were hanging out at the bar of the book convention hotel, they hitted off, talked a lot, and had one super hot and full of orgasms one night stand. The next day was a big and awful surprise for both of them, when they knew who they really were and all. BUT…. The attraction, the chemistry, the passion was consuming them and there was only one thing left to do: HATE FUCK EACH OTHER UNTIL THEY ARE BLIND FROM SO MANY ORGASMS!!

I loved reading this book. I have to be honest, I was utterly annoyed with Miranda at the beginning, but as soon as I started Joe’s chapters, I was hooked and IN LOVE with the bizarre-smut author. He is not the usual book boyfriend. Yes, he is handsome, and cocky and full of himself, things I FLOVE about a book boyfriend, but he was also ridiculously unique. I loved how he acknowledge himself everytime he did something stupidly funny.
Joe McCoy, Life Perfecter.
Joe McCoy, Proud Smut Slinger.
Joe McCoy, World’s Okayest Beast.
Joe McCoy, Best-fucking-seller.
Joe McCoy, Stud Resurrected.
Joe McCoy, Wordsmith.
Joe McCoy, Living Trend That Will Claim Your Butt.
Joe McCoy, Even Stevens.
Joe McCoy, Conflicted.
Joe McCoy, Sex God.
Joe McCoy, Detail Avoider.
Joe McCoy, Occasional Softy.
Joe McCoy, Sex So Good You Need A Sick Day.. .Wait. No. Not that.
Joe McCoy, Enquiring Mind.
Joe McCoy, God’s Gift to Women.
Joe McCoy, Fan-Fucking-Genius.
Joe McCoy, Drama Queen *This one is my favorite*

If you want to Roll on Floor Laughing Your Ass Off, get this book now and read it. It’s short, funny, and super sexy. And will leave you wondering about how it would be to be Plummeled In Ass by a Hungry Triceratops.

Miranda Rose aka Randi Rose is a serious romance novelist. Her goal is to get her work published with the one of the top 5 in the industry. She is disgusted by Charlie Shivers peddling his Dino porn because it is selling like crazy and she feels she works harder. Miranda engages in juvenile behavior by 1 starring all of Charlie Shivers work and basically stalking him. Their paths cross when they attend a romance convention. Not knowing who he is in person Miranda meets Charlie/Joe and thinks he is a model. They hit it off and they quickly jump into bed.

Miranda’s internal dialogue came across as too insta-love for my tastes. She had this scenario in her head of pursuing a relationship pretty much within minutes of meeting Joe. To be fair Joe was pretty much insta-love bound after they hook up too. The next day they discover each other’s true identities and as you can imagine it doesn’t go well. The best part of this story for me was the hate sex. YOWZA! These scenes were pretty great even though it was preceded by juvenile hate talk. I did really like Miranda and Joe’s sense of humor and personalities but I was put off by their childish antics.

Topped is a cute romantic comedy; but for me personally I felt comedy came off as trying too hard. That being said if you like a light comedy with some steamy sex and insta-love/lust you will like this.

This book was a fantastic, fun and easy read. I thoroughly enjoyed this story.

Miranda Rose a.k.a Randi Rose has an arch nemesis Charlie Shivers (Joe McCoy). Author of crazy dinosaur smut. While Randi is struggling to get her books out there Shivers has a huge following for someone who she considers a not-a-real author, so what does she do... she trolls him online.

Miranda is a funny character that has a fantastic sense of humour she attends the Romance convention and ends up at the bar where she ends up meeting a male model *cough *cough Joe McCoy and they end up having a hot night together and leave it at that.

Moving forward the next day when they discover who each other... oops.

Both of the lead characters just have something about them, they are perfect for each other and I couldn't put this book down. The scenes between Joe and his bro's were just hilarious. Kayti McGee has a talent when it comes to writing. I loved the epilogue it was a great way to end the book. From beginning to end this book had me hooked!!!

If you need a laugh along with some sweet and sexy romance this book is for you.

To say this book was different is an understatement. It is hilarious to be honest. These characters prove the saying thin line between love and hate. The dialogue is witty and has me laughing out loud. Joe's stories are ridiculous but underneath his outrageous writing style is a warm caring man with a great sense of humor.
Miranda is a tad uptight but her sense of humor comes out. She writes more along the lines of contemporary romance and can't believe how well dinoporn sells.
When these two get together the chemistry is amazing. This is a short funny romp that will leave you in stiches.

This is my very first Kayti McGee experience, and I wasn't disappointed. From the very beginning she had me laughing out loud.

Miranda Rose, is a Romance writer, desperately trying to break into the Top 100 on Amazon. Her arch nemesis, Charlie Shivers, who writes out to lunch, off the wall, ridiculous romance novels always seems to be landing in the Top 100. She can't believe that people are buying this crap. So, she trolls his Amazon page, posting bad reviews and giving him 1 star ratings. She has an upcoming writer's convention that she has been really looking forward to. This week long convention will give her the opportunity to do some networking and help take her mind off her current novel she's been working on. On the first day of the convention she meets Joe, Miranda assumes him to be one of the many cover models that are attending the convention. Meeting a devilishly handsome cover model, it looks like her luck is changing! They hit it off, have some drinks and wander up to his room for a little fun...nothing wrong with a little fun, Right?!

Except, the next morning when she shows up, grinning from ear to ear, for her panel - who's sitting there...but Joe... No wait! It's Charlie Shivers!!!

From this point on it just gets hot 'n steamy and all kinds of funny! I couldn't stop laughing at the situation. The back and forth between these two is funny and witty. Let's not forget the sex! Well that is just irresistible! No matter how hard they tried, they just couldn't seem to get enough of each other or their hands off one another.

It was a nice change of pace from the billionaire lover's that I've been reading lately. Joe is just an average Joe, making his way in the literary world. He likes to hang out with his Bros, drinking beer and just coming up with quirky new ideas for his next master piece. He's a down to earth kind of guy that is all kinds of appealing!

Miranda is a more uptight than Joe. She takes her work as an author seriously and wants to deliver an emotionally compelling piece of work that she has poured her heart and soul into. She is sarcastic and she just tells it like it is! I really do adore her!

This was a super cute and funny enemy-to-lover story, that is just begging to be read! I am really looking forward to reading more from Kayti McGee.

If you have read Meghan Quinn's books before , then you will understand what I mean when I say that Topped is up there with the Randy Romance Novelist. At first I wasn't sure what to expect with Topped as I had an idea that it would be a romantic comedy but I wasn't sure exactly what level whether it would be more Alice Clayton or Meghan Quinn scale and I have to say this was defintely up there on my list for LOL books. It was hilarious and I found myself chuckling right through the entire book. I do have to give you warning though, that if you find cursing and insults and guy humour disgusting and vulgar, then you will not enjoy Topped . It takes LOL books to a whole new level, a level that sometimes us readers are in the mood for as we just want a book that we can sit back and read without having to feel too deep emotions for it. In other words , for me I loved it. Unless you have been hiding under a rock , you would have heard of the infamous Chuck Tingle who is known for his weird as titles and dinosaur porn and gay titles and strange things like Taken by the Gay Unicorn Biker. This book features two writers Miranda Rose aka Randi Rose and Joe M aka Charlie Shivers. Miranda is trying to get her big break as she is an amazing romance writer, whereas Joe writes under the name Charlie Shivers and writes basically Chuck Tingle type stories about having Sex with Dinosaurs. Randi and Charlie are arch-enemies in the book world , but when a one night stand sees them sleeping together and none are the wiser, things are about to change as especially since they are both attending the same romance writers conference in Kansas City and are on a panel together.
I shall leave this review with the parting words, that if you need a laugh in your life and something to read and let go of all your worries in the world , then you have to read Topped and people if you don't have this book yet on your reading lists - you are certainly missing out.

I absolutely loved Topped. I knew it would be a funny and light read and it was a perfect way to forget my day. Miranda is a romance writer but she just can't seem to get a huge following. She blames this on her arch nemesis, Charlie Shivers. He writes dinosaur porn and has such a huge following and it makes Miranda furious. When a romance convention comes to her town, Miranda decides this is her year. She will get in with the in crowd, get a publicist, and out do Charlie.

Her first day didn't go as planned and while drowning her sorrows at the bar, meets a hottie model, Joe, and has the best sex of her life. When she walks into the room where she's sitting on a panel, she sees none other than the hottie, who turns out isn't a model, he's Charlie Shivers. When these two find out they slept with the one person they hate they most, they continue to try to one up the other. Except pretty soon there having hate sex and what's better then hate sex? Nothing! Who cares if they hate each other. The sex is great but pretty soon hate turns into like and all these years of going after each other are hard to forget.

Can Miranda and Joe get past all the bad or will one last big mistake tear them apart for good? Topped was hilarious, sweet, and charming and is definitely a book you need to check out! Kayti has quickly become one of my new favs and I Cant wait to see what she comes up with next!

If you are looking for a short read, that is hilarious from start to finish (with a side of romance/sexiness), then you definitely need to read this book! I was just introduced to Kayti's work, and I am so pleased that I was!

I was drawn in by the blurb, as I thought it sounded like good fun. As soon as I started reading, the hilarity ensued. The author made sure to hit us straight away, really showing what their writing style is like. It was a brilliant start, which easily made me want to read the book then and there...all of it.

The characters are great. They match the style of story and really bring out the author's talent. I thought they were well-developed and had brilliant personalities. They always acted according to the type of character she had created, which makes them more real.

I liked the pace of the book. It was a good, steady pace, with lots of exciting moments, hilarious antics and twists thrown in to really spice it up. I felt it matched the story well and really kept me both hooked and entertained.

Overall, this is a good read. I recommend it to those looking for a fun, laugh out loud moment.

This book was cute, if a bit silly. There were many things to like, and several things just drove me crazy.

What I liked: First were the characters. They were cute, especially together. Both when they liked each other and when they tried really hard to hate, their actions and banter were enjoyable. The sex scenes were hot, albeit a bit rushed. The author angle intrigued me and made me realize that the different genres cater their niches for their fan bases.

What I didn't like: Joe/Charlie interacted with his "bros" clumsily. I hated all their bro nicknames. It made me feel like I did watching Ted Mosby with his friend Punchy, like I was watching a middle school locker room. It didn't ruin his character, but I can't imagine grown men openly acting this ridiculously.

The insta-love was also a bit unbelievable, especially since the characters spent most of their time hating one another. Sure, it was obviously contrary to their initial lust, but to call it love after three days was a bit much.

Overall though, the book was amusing and highly entertaining. I can't help but love a man who snuggles his dog.

Topped is the first book I have read by this author.

Hmmm this book is a romantic comedy and it is funny, but the humour is almost slapstick.

I love a good funny book but this book was just a little too silly. I know you’re wondering how a funny book can be too silly but honestly I just found at times I knew exactly what silly thing would happen next and instead of laughing I was cringing.

Joe/Charlie was a lot like Barney Stinson from How I Met Your Mother I loved that show but now he’s all I can picture when I think about this character.

There were bits where I laughed out loud but I cringed almost as much.

Miranda was lovely and although she was completely daft I liked her a lot.

The sex in this book was hot especially the angry sex which totally gets a double thumbs up from me.

This book was ok I just felt like it tried a bit too hard to be funny and if maybe it had been toned down a little it would have felt funnier.

Topped gets 3 stars from me.

This is the first book I have ventured to read by Kayti McGee, I read the synopsis and thought it sounded like somethings that would interest me.

There were parts of this book I really loved, the wit and humour in this book had me laughing so hard I cried at times. Some of the things that happened were so cringeworthy you couldn’t help laughing.

I really enjoyed the characters in this book, well except that bitch Bethany!
Miranda was a bit uptight for my liking at times but overall her character kept me entertained with her wine and sobbing. Joe was hilarious, how he came up with his stories had me in stitches and I loved his relationship with his friends.

There were a few times in the story I struggled to connect with it and felt like the story slowed down a little.

Overall this book was a quick read full of quick wit, sarcasm, strange sex stories and a HEA.

This book made me laugh like crazy in places. Miranda is a romance writer, but she's frustrated that she can't break into the top 100 on Amazon. Her nemesis writes weird books and is constantly there. She just doesn't get it. What's so special about Charlie Shivers? She is excited about going to a writers conference in her city this week. It will save her so much money on not having to pay for travel and a room when she lives close by. Everything changes the first night she's there. She's in the bar drinking when she's approached by a man she thinks is a cover model named Joe. Joe and Miranda hit it off and head up to his room for some fun. Little do they know they are on a panel the next day together and neither of them are who they introduced themselves as. Miranda is actually Randi Rose and Joe is actually Charlie Shivers. From there all hell breaks loose. This book is well worth the read and had me laughing my butt off in places. This is a MUST READ!!!

Miranda is a romance writer. She is good, but not a best seller. And it kills her. Then there are people out there like, Charlie Shivers, who makes the best seller list writing gay dino porn. She hates Charlie with a passion. In her eyes, it is not fait she spends months writing the perfect novel, and he spends 30 mins! And becomes an instant hit.

Both Charlie and Miranda attend a conference for writers, neither knowing who the other person is. They share an instant attraction, and end of in bed together right away. When the next day, they find out each other's true identities, all hell breaks loose!

If you like insta love and dino pro jokes, then this book is for you.

I have to be honest, I liked this one, but it was missing something for me. Miranda was kind of immature. ! staring all his books, and doing all the things in the book world that are big no-no's was a low blow. It was one thing to not like him, but another to sabotage his career.....

4.5 Stars!

Definitely a fan for life. This author thoroughly impressed and entertained me in Topped, book two in the Under Covers series. I adored this captivating and sweet romance just as much as book one in this series, maybe a smidge more. Kayti McGee once again delivers a novel to her readers that is sexy, cute, fun, unique, and quirky with a splash of naughty.

Can you handle the heat? This is Miranda and Joe's story. The romance book world never looked so naughty or enticing. Archenemies to lovers. One epic romance. Could it get more twisted? These two will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout, racing to their happy ending. You will laugh, blush, smile, swoon, and fall head over heels in love by the end.

I recommend this book.

Some of the things said in this book are over the top, but it works. How can you not anticipate laughing in this one when the hero writes dino porn. Miranda is trying to make a name in the writing world then you have Joe one of the biggest names. She believes life is so unfair when she's struggling and Joe is high on sales. Miranda and Joe are enemies, but that doesn't stop instant attraction. They have a love/hate thing going on because they can't stand one another, but the chemistry is HOT! If you're looking for a light read and a good laugh this one fits the bill. Though some things are truly outrageous in this book it does have a true story and depth as well. Hop on for one crazy ride.

This book was hilarious.
From Joe aka Charlie choices in writing topics to Miranda crazy antics and wardrobe choices, I couldn't stop laughing. If you add witty banter and crazy hot chemistry, this story will keep you glued to your kindle.
After all the sexing and screaming matches, troll behaviour and backstabbing, there were tender moments that made me melt.
This book has everything I need in a story.
Can't already wait for this author's next book.

Oh sweet baby Tyrannosaurus Rex having a butt plug up its ass. What have I just read?
Soooooo, I see others' opinions are divided and I'm sitting here like, yeah, did I love it?, or did I hate it?, because there's really no other option here.
You know what, it was so hilarious and witty, even if it was sometimes borderline ridiculous and the hero was an arrogant prick at the beginning, I can't help myself, 5 weirdo stars. Super funny, super sexy, super odd, and I loved it.

Brafrickenvo!!

This book was not only absolutely hilarious, but I didn't want to put it down like I read the damn thing while making dinner! The rivalry between ' Miranda Rose & ' Charlie Shivers' is epic and damn if if I don't need to find me a way to get some hate sex! BTW been awhile since I have seen the phrase #douchecanoe and #snactchface used! Ha! They really should be used more often! Loved this book! I need more of this in my life!

Joe really thinks highly of himself, "at least she can’t one-star my ***k, right? Heyyyy. But seriously, she totally can’t. That girl was so thirsty for me last night." Miranda's reactions to Joe sure are interesting, “that you are.” His voice is husky and dangerous and I want to mount him." This book was definitely unique, Joe and Miranda were a match made in writer heaven.
