I love books. Not just a little bit, but a lot. Books were my best friends when I was growing up. Books didn’t care if I was new to a town or to a class. They were always there, my trustiest of companions. Until they turned on me and said I had to write them.

I can tell you that my own personal happily ever after included writing books. I’ve always said that an HEA is a work in progress. It’s true in my marriage, my friendships, and in my career. I am constantly nurturing my muse as we dive into new tales, new tropes, new characters and more.

After seventeen years back in Texas, we relocated to the Pacific Northwest in search of seasons, new experiences, and new geography. I can’t wait to discover what life (and my muse) have in store for me.

Maybe writing was always my destiny and romance my fate. After all, my grandmother wasn’t a fan of picture books and used to read me her Harlequin Romance novels.

Friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, friends to enemies to lovers, you name it, I love them and love to write them. I started with Earth Witches Aren’t Easy, the first in the Chance Monroe trilogy, but my characters and I have traveled a long way since I created that urban fantasy world.

One of the series I hear my readers recommend the most is the Untouchable series followed in quick succession by the Vandals, and that just delights me. No lie, whenever one of my readers brings up my wolves, I do a little a fist pump.

I’m active on social media, and I love hearing from readers. Feel free to tag me with a question about any of my books, or just say hi!

3.5 stars

Snow Wolf is the 9th book in the Wolves of Willow Bend series. Although this book can be read without reading the first 8 you will want to devour them all when you're finished. This book had everything I enjoy about paranormal shifter stories.

Ranae is young and tough and not afraid of alpha males. Diesel is an alpha of another pack very set in his ways. At first meeting Diesle knows what he wants and it is Ranae. Ranae on the other hand isn't to sure. To watch Diesel who at first seems so old fashioned set in his ways and totally caveman-ish and Ranae who has grown up around male shifters and is not afraid or intimidated by them is so entertaining. Add to that the investigation among all shifter packs in North America against some attacks that throw Diesel and Ranae together in some dangerous situations and you have yourself a seriously enjoyable read.

The sexy factor between the two and their chemistry this book is on hot read.

This is the ninth novel in this enthralling paranormal series, packed with action, surprises and romance.

The youngest of four children, the only girl with triplet older brothers, Ranae Buckley has had to grow up to be feisty, determined and not easily cowed. Her dominant nature has caused problems for her within the Willow Bend pack but she's now got a purpose having trained as a Hunter and is being trusted to act as the pack representative visiting the Yukon pack and passing on important information to Diesel, the Alpha there. The problem is that the Alpha of the Yukon pack really doesn't have any interest in what is happening outside his area. He lost his mate decades ago and really doesn't seem to care about anything any more - or that's what they thought until Ranae arrived!

She travels to the remote pack with the Chief Enforcer and her arrival has a dramatic effect on Diesel who immediately recognises that she is his mate! However, Ranae rejects him and argues with him, leading to some great encounters and surprising revelations. As the dangers Ranae came to warn about prove to affect his pack, too, Diesel has more problems to counteract whilst endeavouring to keep his pack safe and trying to win the love of his potential mate.

This is a great addition to the series and I believe would also work well as a stand alone novel though I have read others in the series before and highly recommend them, too. The scenarios are well written, the characters superbly developed, the interactions fraught with emotion and the plot full of angst and turmoil to keep the reader turning the pages. I really like this series and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys paranormal adventures with strong main characters, emotive writing and action packed.

Heather Long’s Snow Wolf is an amazing addition to the Wolves of Willow Bend Series. Willow Bend Hunter, Ranae Buckley, is sent on a mission by her alpha to Yukon territory to warn their alpha, Diesel, about the attacks by the Russian Pack on the U.S. Packs. Once she arrives, Diesel doesn’t plan on letting her go, needing to convince her that she is his mate. This contemporary PNR is suitable for adult audiences.

I loved Snow Wolf. I read a lot of shapeshifter novels. This one was captivating and thrilling. Heather Long does an incredible job with her descriptions making the story easy to visualize. I love Diesel. Being the oldest U.S. pack Alpha, he has a reputation of being old-fashioned and behind the times. Boy did they have that wrong. He is a crafty alpha that keeps his cards hidden. There is a lot more to Diesel then meets the eye. I like how Diesel got his name; I also, like his reasoning for Ranae’s nickname. I enjoyed Renae’s character. She is a strong alpha female. She is trying to atone for past mistakes. She is loyal and loves her family. She is a good Hunter. I enjoyed the ending; I found what Diesel gave to Mason amusing. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Awesomeness!

The taunt did what the order would not. She moved. His wolf rose, stretching and raking his claws. Yes, they had the scent of this hunt. ~Heather Long

Book is so amazing. It's like a pan of fresh brownies. Straight from the oven.
A must read!

Don't miss the highly anticipated installment in the Wolves of Willow Bend as we travel north to one of the most secretive packs in the U.S.

the story of Diesel and Renae was filled with action and emotions.
I have to say that this book held me in place with the emotions that i felt between the couple and the plot was thickening with each passing page!
A story that i highly recommend!!!!

Ranae Buckley still struggles with her temper. But her alpha needs her for a mission in wild, snowy Alaska. She's to trace the Yukon alpha, make sure he's still on control and report back. When she finally makes it to his outpost, he and his pack are not what they would appear. With an advanced subterranean hideout for the vulnerable of the pack, they have a vast underground network and sentries. The alpha may be older than her but he is not the technophobe he leads everyone to believe!

Diesel fears he is beginning to fade into his beast, just as his mate did decades ago. Perhaps that would be best for his people, his pack. But when he meets the lovely but oh so irritating Ranae his beast perks up and he struggles with the realisation that he and Ranae have mate potential. But first there is the small matter of an invasion by a Russian pack, infections to stave off and a pack to calm.

Diesel may be the oldest so far of the Alphas but he is in now way crumbly! He is ageing just fine thank you! Ranae has enough gumption to challenge him and not get disciplined for it. I love the way she..ahem gets him to agree to her plans - she just totally subverts him LOL. Ranae is aware of her shortcomings and is attempting to curb her temper but there are times when you know that temper will come in handy! Another wonderfully crafted and action packed story!!

OMG another hit my this fabulous author......

Ranae Buckley is send with Jullian the chief enforcer, to give a message to Diesel the Yukon Alpha...

Well let's just say, Ranae and Diesel have sparks that fly between them. Ranae denies the attraction at first but Diesel, Wolf is saying MATE. This was a great story how how it plays out.... Diesel is such a great Alpha but is a very sweet man, you will fall in love with him.... We also learn more about Ranae and why she is the way she is..... We also learn more about Jullian, Well a little bit, Ms. Long is a tease lol.......

There is action, Romance and of course twists and turns in this book.....

Will it work out with Diesel and Ranae? Will they become Mates???? All I will say, is you will love it and you will love Diesel. There is some HOT love scenes and of course some sweet scenes and some funny scenes. Just a great book... Wish I could give it more then five stars.

Once upon a time Ranae was a major brat but there had to be someone, something, somewhere that would be a good fit for her dominant tendencies. Enter one old wolf who's become complacent with life and needs someone to bring him excitement and a challenge. Diesel and Ranae are a fantastic couple who compliment each other perfectly.

My absolute favorite type of book has a heroine that can hold her own and doesn't need constant rescuing and Ranae is one tough chick who can rescue people with the most alpha of men. The story is strong and intense and moves so fast you wont realize you've been reading for the last 4 hours until someone insists you either go to work or make them dinner.

This book is awesome, intense, engrossing, funny and smoking hot.....I couldn't put it down!

Ranae and Diesel are two interesting perfect for each other characters. I have not read the rest of the willow bend series but now I have to! I was a little lost jumping into the series at book 9 so this does not work as a stand alone. But, I am happy and willing to go purchase every single book that's come beforehand because Ms. Long is an amazing writer and I know she's built an amazing world with amazing characters.

Despite being a little lost to the overall story I really love Diesel and Ranae's story. I love how Heather Long develops her characters and shows them grow into these beautiful people. Heather is a master storyteller and I am so lucky to have found her stories.

If I could give it more stars I would

I was not a fan of Renae Buckley and I loved Diesel, so I came into the book a bit worried. I should have known better. Heather Long came through again. Watching as Renae grew and adapted, watching as her mate's support allowed her to grow and blossom was almost as good as learning more about Diesel. Seeing him away from the others, how he loved and cared for his pack even as he suffered made me love him even more. Their story together ... just wow. I could hardly wait to see how it ended, but I want ready to put the wolves away until the next book. I love the characters in this series and can hardly wait for the next one.

I have to admit, I wasn’t really knowing what to expect with Diesel and his pack, and that was a good thing, because everything we thought we knew was completely obliterated! Couple-wise, this is a perfect match. They challenge each other, they compliment each other, and they are just so in syn, even when they seem otherwise, that there is no doubt that they will end up together. Love a strong FMC, love a strong MMC, and when they come together in an action packed, heat-filled, and emotionally rich story, that is just simply wondrous <3

Another fantastic book from Heather Long! I just love her Wolves of Willow Bend series and Snow Wolf had everything I expected and then some. One of my favorite things about Heather Long’s writing is she immediately pulls you into the world she has created and makes you feel like you really know the characters. Each pack that she writes about definitely has their own personality and it doesn’t take long to see what is below the surface of the Yukon pack – a pack that is filled with care and concern for one another and takes care of their own.

I absolutely loved Diesel. He may be the oldest alpha in the US packs, but that has only made him wiser when it comes to taking care of his pack and learning that being patient can bring you great rewards. The loss of his mate many years ago has left him scarred and a bit aloof, and he really just wants to be left alone by the other US packs. When Julian, the Chief Enforcer, arrives in his territory carrying not only news of a potential threat to Diesel’s pack, but also carrying the scent of a potential mate, Diesel is intrigued. And once he meets Ranae he knows that it’s going to take more than just telling her “Mine” to accept him as her mate – and is more than looking forward to that challenge and all the fun that promises to bring!

I wasn’t too certain about Ranae at first. She has some definite anger issues and is more likely to act out rather than think things through – all things that her training as a Hunter is helping her work on. She definitely feels like this mission into the Yukon has given her a chance to prove herself to her family and more importantly her Alpha. What she doesn’t expect is to meet a man who she can’t decide if she wants to punch or climb like a tree…and he has her doing both! She is not amused by Diesel’s claiming and wants no part of being mated to a stodgy, set in his ways, aloof Alpha who lives in the middle of the tundra, but she has a job to do and Diesel is more than willing to take advantage of that fact to keep her with him while he tries to change her mind. Ranae also isn’t prepared for the man she finds beneath the surface, one who encourage her and appreciates her skills and abilities, one who doesn’t try to be over-protective but rather allows her to take care of him as much as he takes care of her…and it’s all these things that has her finding it hard to resist her attraction to him.

Diesel and Ranae together were so perfectly suited to one another. As an alpha, Diesel needs a strong, dominant mate to help him lead his pack. Once he recognizes that Ranae offers just that, he also recognizes that she has to accept him and cannot be forced into anything. I loved that Diesel was always open and honest with Ranae, and when he finally gets her to trust him enough to be the same, you can just feel how right they are together. I loved watching him surprise her time after time with his acceptance of her skills and her ability to take care of herself. He trusts her to watch his back and even though he still feels the need to protect, he also quickly recognizes that she is capable of holding her own and truly can be his other half, from the bedroom to the battlefield. When trouble finds its way into Diesel’s territory and his instinct is to play lone wolf to solve the problem and protect not just Ranae, his mate, but his entire pack, I just love how Ranae takes a page out of Diesel’s playbook to ensure that his plan has the best chance of success – I think that’s when I totally fell in love with Ranae!

I loved getting to spend some time with some characters from previous books and learning more about the threat from the Russian wolves. There are so many characters between the different packs, and I love watching the packs become more intertwined as matings occur between packs and they have to stand together to face the threat that has touched all of them.

Individually each of the books in this series are fabulous and can be read as stand-alones, but there is an over-arching story arc that is just so wonderfully woven together throughout the series that it would be a shame not to start this series from the beginning. I highly recommend this book and series to anyone.

Absolutely amazing! Heather Long is one of my top five favourite authors, and the Willow Bend series is simply amazing. She has given us a realistic group of characters that bring you into their lives as if you were one of them, giving them heart and soul like no others, and situations that you could definitely picture happening in the world of today. Each one of her books brings new characters into the picture, continually leaving us wanting for more. I don't think I would ever tire of ready about the wolves of Willow Bend, and truly hope that she continues with the series. It would be nice to see a match for Julien....perhaps even with Dallas? There are still so many possible pairings, that it would seem sad to have this refreshing series end. This series leans more on the realistic side rather than the fantastical side of the paranormal, and Heather makes it so easy to fall in love with each and every one of her characters.
In this episode, we finally read Diesel's story, as he finally finds the mate he's been waiting so long for. After getting a hint of her scent while at Willow Bend for an emergency meeting of the Alphas with regards to the upstart pack , he finally comes out of his funk before he fades into the wild. After chasing her scent, he is determined to find her, only to have to leave Willow Bend and return to his own pack, far north in the Tundra territory of Alaska. The Yukon pack are pretty much unknown to the others, with a reputation of isolation and meager assets, and with a miserable old alpha, Diesel likes to keep to himself. When Ranae is asked to attend the Yukon pack, unannounced, with chief enforcer, Julien, as a representative of the Willow Bend pack, to bring news of the attacks by the Russian wolves, she's not sure what is in store for her. Her brother has warned her of the cold showers and sparse comforts of the homes there, as well as the most likely cold reception they are most likely to receive. Little did she know how much this trip would change her life.
Packed full of excitement, action, hostilities and friendships, as well as family and love, this book will have you on the edge of your chair, fisting your hands at times and wiping your tears at others. You definitely don't want to miss it. Even though it is part of a series, it is a standalone. Having read any of the previous episodes will give you lots of background as to how everyone fits in with each other, but not necessary. But be forewarned, once you start with one book, you will want to read them all. One of my all time favourite series, I can't wait for the next episode.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Simply AMAZING!!!

I am a huge fan of Heather Long, and the Wolves of Willow Bend series is one of my absolute favorites. The newest addition to the series goes far and beyond my expectations. From our previous dealings with Ranae and Diesel, one might expect a story about a temperamental woman who can still act like a child, and a crotchety old man who is stuck in the past. I am thrilled to report this wasn't even remotely the case.

The Ranae in this story has worked hard to atone for her previous transgressions and we even have the pleasure of seeing her mature further and come in to her own as a remarkable, capable, and clever woman. She is definitely fun to read about. Diesel is so much more than what he shows those in other packs. Although he was starting the fade, the Diesel we are introduced to is vibrant, strong, caring, capable, hilarious, and sexy as hell. You can tell from almost the start that he will be a fantastic mate. Learning more about him and his pack is such a pleasure. These two wolves are perfect for each other, and we get a front row seat to seeing how well they work together and how naturally they accept the other (without even a hint of boredom).

The Yukon pack has a bad rap to the other packs, but they were just as much fun to learn about as Hudson River. You get to see the beautiful place they call Sanctuary and the people (the gossipy, but wise elders, the hilarious healer) were a treat as well. There were so many wonderful moments in this story that came together so beautifully. While I may have been weary of what this story might have entailed, I have been thoroughly blown away by the characters, the world, and the adventure. Bravo Ms. Long. This is one of your best yet, and I absolutely cannot wait to read on!

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review .I have thoroughly enjoyed reading the Willow Bend series and cannot wait to read this authors next book .This story had me hooked from the get go and had me hanging on turning page after page till the very end .Diesel is not exactly what Ranae thought she would find on the mission shes been sent on .Ranae is a very unexpected surprise for Diesel the dialogue and chemistry between these two was fantastic . Lots of suspense and danger lurk between these pages go grab a copy and dive into this wonderful story .Heres the blurb.

New tricks

Heather Long hit my favorite authors list with her Fevered and Marine series and has maintained it with this series. I've read them all and am always excited to see a new release. This one doesn't disappoint. If you are looking for a great standalone with an HEA, then look no further.

When WB Pack Hunter Ranae Buckley is sent to the Yukon Pack with the head Enforcer, her mission is to deliver a message to the old curmudgeon alpha who won't answer calls. Once at his camp, she finds nothing is what she was led to believe. It seems Diesel is a trickster, and a very wily one. But even worse he says she is his mate and that she won't be returning to Willow Bend.

Diesel is a wolf who outlived his first mate. He was approaching the fade himself when he visited WB and thought he smelled a potential mate. But the one he thought was his actually was fated for someone else. Back in the Yukon, he has found new purpose, especially when a young WB Hunter arrives in his town delivering news of attacks on other packs by Russian wolves. And Diesel begins to understand why he was wrong about a potential mate before, and how close he came to finding Ranae then. Knowing she's the one is only part of the equation, though. This old wolf will have to learn some new tricks to convince Ranae her home is with him when her allegiance to WB is so strong. But to complicate his mission to win her over, the rogue Russian wolves strike against Diesel's most vulnerable, Inuit and wolf alike.

Ranae, a hunter, is sent by her Alpha to carry a message to another pack in the Yukon. Her preconceived notions of the pack and it's alpha are not what she finds once she gets there.

Diesel is the alpha of the Yukon pack, a pack unlike any other. Having distanced his emotions he is surprised to feel such a strong draw to the Hunter from another pack.

The draw between these two was electric! I loved the give and take between Ranae and Diesel. They were perfectly matched with their strength, stubbornness and passions. Ranae is spunky, independent, and intelligent. Diesel is clever, charming, and alpha to the core. I really enjoyed seeing them both come to different compromises as the book went along. Excitement was a main factor of the book, from the sparks between Ranae and Diesel, to the hunt for the wolves causing so much damage to the different packs, to the different pack dynamics. The whole story was one fun twist after another and I really enjoyed so many of the little elements the author included to make the story shine. This is a fantastic adventure and shifter love story, I would easily recommend this one!

I could hardly wait for this one if it was to come from author. I have been intrigued by Diesel for a while he was always that mysterious to me. For him to get antagonized by her scent was also another reason for me being antsy. When Ranae gets sent along with a Enforcer to the Yukon I knew my wait was about to be over with me disappearing until I was finished. There is also still many reasons for everyone to be very watchful also with a group causing death when possible especially for those not ready or know what has already happened. When Diesel can not be contacted she goes to deliver what is what but that will only be the beginning of a new journey for her. I do so enjoy the chase and adventure that is usually filled with much heat when two meet and one is certain of the mate. This author also spins it so well you feel as if you are planted right there along with everyone else. They will have quite the adventure for me the reader that I will not soon forget but I so love the surprise at the end that oh warmed the romantic side of me to scorching.

Woo hoo! What a ride! Diesel, the oldest Alpha in the U.S. packs, is about to have his world shaken up by Ranae Buckley a young hunter/envoy from the Willow Bend pack. Ranae is about to have her perception of the Yukon pack shook up. When these two meet worlds collide. I was worried that Diesel would be too old and set in his ways to fully appreciate Ranae. But I should have known better. Ranae would take delight in bringing Diesel kicking and screaming back to life. I love Diesels sense of humor and the fact that Ranae doesn’t just roll over for him. The are some surprising revelations about the enforcer Julian and I hope we get his story soon. I love this world and the folks who live in it. Well done Heather Long.

Have you pre-ordered this yet?? What in the world are you waiting for!? I just finished wiping the tears from my eyes as I ended this book. My thanks to Heather Long for the ARC copy, and yes, I've pre-ordered a copy as well. I wanted to make absolutely sure I received this latest installment in the Wolves of Willow Bend series.

The story cleared up a lot of loose ends while it dangled a few more in front of me. I could easily see at least 3 more books after this one!

I mentioned the tears at the start of this review. For me, if a writer makes me invest myself in a character to the point where I can cry for them, that makes all the difference. I can't say it any plainer than that. You are going to love this book!

I can't tell you how much I love this book

Okay so I read the description on this book and decided to buy the whole series from that one description. Of course after I read the first book I decided I loved the series and kept reading. So back to this book, I couldn't wait to read about Diesel and Ranae. Ranae is a strong wolf, almost alpha material. She was raised by a strong family. She has always felt a little out of place. She has hidden her strength, her attitude and even had to be hidden in a private school. Diesel is a loner but an alpha. Only his pack is holding him to this world. When he catches her sent he knows that she is his. Now he just has to convince her that his love and pack are enough to leave everything she knows behind.

Impressive to the series!!

I've read this entire series. And with series, sometimes, authors tend to get lazy as they progress and end up writing the same story over and over with different characters and slightly different details. That is not the case here! This was a very pivotal book to this series and has the chemistry between the mains to back it up. The story was intriguing and gave us insight into other characters and their upcoming stories as well. While some of the books in this series lacked chemistry or a storyline that grabbed, the series overall is constructed well and progresses at a perfect place to keep us readers clamoring for the next one. This is definitely one of the top 4 in this series! Can't wait to see Julian and Dallas soon!!!!

Really love how this series has expanded and the bigger story the author has introduced.

Also this is a wonderful look at the enigmatic and surly Yukon Alpha Diesel. He was such a moody presence in the previous books that I was really curious as to how he'd be in his own book. I was not disappointed. The author humanized his wonderfully and gave us a peek under the covers of his pack that both surprised and delighted me. She didn't soften him at all either. Diesel it still surly but you totally get it.

He and Renae make a great couple and now I am impatient to see what happens next especially with the big threat from the ISIS-like Russian pack (will they attack Willow Bend next?) and the still uncertainty surrounding the rogue sixth pack.

I love the Willow Bend series. In this story Ranae is in the Yukon territory to tell Diesel what has been happening with the other packs. Diesel immediately tells her she is his mate and begins to order her around and then realizes he has some courting to do if Ranae is to become his mate.

There is plenty of action within this romance as Diesel begins to try and win his mate. While in the underground sanctuary his pack is attacked by wolves from Russia.

My attention was riveted as I scrolled through this story and I cannot wait to see what happens next with all the packs somehow linked to Willow Bend. I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Wow. The first thing I want to say about this story is that it has some powerful relationships and feelings in it. Young sibling of the Buckley family (from previous stories)? Check – Ranae, a Hunter. Powerful, attitude-filled, oldest of all Alphas? Check -- Diesel, Alpha for the Yukon. Diesel finds his (second) mate in Ranae but since she calls him “Old Man” (yes, she IS cheeky!), it takes Ranae a bit longer to get on board. Lots of intrigue, travel across continents, and a very touching developing love story. I liked these two. Great addition to Wolves of Willow Bend.

OMG, this has to be my favorite book of the series so far!! I have wanted Diesel's story since I first heard of him. I felt so sorry for him, especially since he didn't find Ranae the first time he was in Willow Bend. I also love his nickname for her, Dove. The story itself was amazing but I guess they didn't end the Russian wolves yet so hopefully as this series continues, they will all get their revenge on the rogue wolves. This was a touching story, absolutely LOVED it!!

Wow Heather wrote another great book in this series. We watch a Diesel tries to win his mate. We see the struggle and how she is trying to deal with her anger. Will she leave Willows Bend? Will they find out why all the clans are being attacked? Will they find any leads? Will Julian find his white rabbit?

I received an ARC version of this book in exchange for an honest review.

If you've been reading this series, you know the Buckley's are a close knit family and every one of the siblings have Alpha potential. The Triplets, AJ, Ty and Lincoln, have all found their mates. AJ is Mason's second and mated to turned wolf Vivian. Ty and Claire are finally mated and currently assisting Cassius the Sutter Butte Alpha, and finally Linc is mated to Seraphina the Delta Crescent Alpha. Which brings me to Ranae, she has been somewhat on the outside since her taunting of Claire ended up with her hurting Mason's mate Alexis.

Sent to train as a hunter she has now reached apprenticeship and has been allowed back into Willow Bend for brief periods of time. Now Mason and AJ have decided that she should be the one to go to the Yukon to ascertain Diesel is still the Alpha and in control. If he is then she is to inform him of the attacks that have occurred at Hudson River and Sutter Butte by Russian wolves.

Julian will be the one escorting her, and she has gathered as much information as she can from the hunters who have gone there before. Not really relishing the primitive conditions they described she embraces the responsibility Mason has entrusted her with.
Julian is not easy to get along with on a good day, and when he takes off for the day in wolf form she is relieved. Hopefully he will find Diesel so she can deliver her messages and go home. Cold showers weren't cutting it.

Diesel knew immediately that Ranae is his mate, the one whose scent taunted him while in Willow Bend. However Ranae is having none of it. She really lets Diesel have it and then worries because of protocol.

In spite of the warning the Yukon pack gets hit, the damages several wolves dead, some injured and everyone in their outlying basecamp gone.

With vengeance on his mind Diesel still works on convincing Ranae she's the only one for him. Things do fall into place for her after they fight together against a Russian wolf, a lieutenant of the Volchitsa, a roving band, claiming land where they could any way they could.

All Diesel has to do is find the pack behind this invasion, destroy it and claim his mate.
A trip to Russia was planned and Diesel is blindsided by Ranae as he gets joined by the pack seconds. Etienne from Delta Crescent, Luc from Hudson River and Trask from Sutter Butte, Julian the head of the enforcers and of course his potential mate, Ranae from Willow Bend.
Not only do we get to know and love Ranae and Diesel, but we learn some very interesting things about Julian and the Yukon.

Plenty of action and drama, combined with the mating dance of Ranae and Diesel make this a book you won't be able to put down.
