We delve into Abbey Chase's past while setting up the series for the future. Stephen Molnar's art is very good. For once, the Danger Girl series has women in it who look anatomically correct. He's able to draw women in the book to look like real people and not just cheesecake shots with Barbie doll proportions.

This is the best Danger Girl book I have read so far. A good origin story of Abbey Chase but also a new begining, still with an unresolved case.

Abbey Chase had been on the run for a long time. Why? Maybe a lot of the trouble is not her fault. Some good glimpses into what has and who have shaped her. That is the past but what is she up to now that Danger Girls are no longer running. The quiet life is just not Abbey's style.

A very good book still high paced, action packed but with more story and direction. The book finishes with a cover gallery including a couple of black and white peices.

A fun Tomb-Raider-esque adventure story that nicely balances globe-spanning heists, humor, and quieter character moments. The artwork is gorgeous, with lots of cool gadgets and vehicles, exotic locales, and sultry, cheesecakey, good-girl art. A most excellent book.

So derivative, it is derivative of things that are also derivative. Almost like AI.

This volume is currently available on Kindle Unlimited. A miniseries to prepare a reboot link of the Danger Girl comic, with a bit of an origins story thrown in, this is a good exemplar of the all girl super spy team trope, balancing fan service with tough and smart female characters. The story is nonexistent, just a load of action scenes, but the art is crisp and clear, the closest I’ve seen to “ligne claire” in a US comic. A fun, brainless read.

Danger Girl no longer exist. Abby Chase is a freelance adventurer searching for artifacts and her missing father. This book told partly in flashbacks is a cross between Tomb Raider and an action movie elements. It is a fun read with a surprise ending.

The story moves quickly with great art work. Recommended for Danger Girl fans and action/adventure comic fans.
