He will turn this entire fiasco into a fairy tale. He will marry his DUI victim. Well, easier said than done as Zoey Graham hates him like the plague and would love to see him rot in jail. ***This is a 60,000-word stand alone novel. The number of pages is as it is. No bonus books or excerpts thrown in to make it appear longer. For Mature readers.
This was strangely one of the possible books I've ever read and I FINISHED IT! I mean holy hell, there was a lot of fucked up shit going on and it seemed cheesy and badly written. It was like a car accident I couldn't look away from.
Umm eww. The H was a total asshole and as the story progressed, I wanted more and more for him not to have his HEA. He runs over the h while drunk, then tries to bribe her, practically forces a marriage on her, and then after getting her invested in their relationship and even pregnant he divorces her. It just left a really bad taste in by mouth. The writing was also pretty juvenile and I felt like the twists in the story were just there to create drama for the sake of drama. A lot of it didn't even make sense and it was obvious that the author had no real knowledge of how the law and the justice system works. I didn't feel like there was a single redeemable character in this book from Troys parents, Troy himself, his uncle Logan, Bessie's mother Beth etc. The only two characters I liked were Bessie and to a much much lesser extent Zoey. I basically started skimming this book to the end because it was just too ridiculous. 1.5 stars.
This book was AWFUL!!! The characters were horrible with few redeeming features. The story was ridiculous, the writing was very juvenile and to cap it all off the whole book was littered with grammatical errors and mistakes. This was a big thumbs down rather than a touchdown and I'd recommend giving it a miss so you don't waste your valuable time like I did.
This is a great sports romance book. It's about a playboy football player and a woman down on her luck. She hated him because he played against her favorite football team. They ended up getting married to help him. Then they fell in love.
Not at all what you would expect from this book, he is a total jerk and constantly trying to push his will and money into the situation. Just keep reading until the end it just might turn out.
