For a Limited Time Hawk's Property, Book 1 in the Insurgents MC Romance Series, is a Bonus Book.
Banger, President of the Insurgents MC, isn’t looking for a woman to replace his beloved wife. Ever since she died, he’s closed his heart to loving again. He satisfies his carnal pleasure with the club girls and hoodrats. It’s safer that way.
The President of the national club may have sparkling blue eyes and an infectious smile, but make no mistake, if someone crosses him or his club, he’d slit their throat in a heartbeat.
Set in his ways, tough, tattooed, and a no BS-type of man, Banger is doing just fine until he meets the sassy, curly-haired, single mom who can cook the best fried chicken he’s ever tasted.
He can’t get enough of her cooking… or her.
For the first time since he’s been widowed, he wants a woman in his life warming his bed.
And the no-nonsense woman, who has a body made for sinning, has turned his world upside down.
Belle Dermot is a widow with two kids whose husband left her penniless. Wanting a fresh start, she moves to Pinewood Springs and takes a job at the local diner cooking tasty, home-cooked meals.
After finding out her husband was a cheating louse, the last thing she wants is another man in her life. She has her hands full with a rebellious teenage daughter, paying the bills, and fending off nasty accusations that she poisoned her husband.
Then she meets Banger, the muscular, handsome, and rugged biker who comes crashing into her life. If only he wasn’t so nice to her and didn’t get her all hot and bothered. And why did he have to be so damn good in bed?
As hard as she tries to push him away, he keeps slipping back into her life, helping her with her problems. And Banger’s not the type to let go once he decides on something. And he’s decided to make Belle his. Now, he just needs her to agree to be his woman…
The Insurgents MC series are standalone romance novels. This is Banger and Belle’s love story. This book contains violence, sexual assault (not graphic), strong language, and steamy/graphic sexual scenes. It describes the life and actions of an outlaw motorcycle club. If any of these issues offend you, please do not read the book. HEA. No cliffhangers! The book is intended for readers over the age of 18.
Chiah Wilder writes about rough, sexy men who know how to treat their women.
Always a lover of books, she began writing at a young age and continued through college with collections of short stories. Figuring she had to grow up and get a “real” job, her writing was placed on the back burner.
Her love of reading has always been center front in her life. Chiah’s love of bad boys both in and out of fiction has inspired her books. She loves an alpha male whose softer side is brought out by a passionate, spirited woman. In fiction there are no rules or boundaries, and fantasies can go as far as the characters want to take them. Steamy, romances with tough, sexy bad boys are her guilty pleasure along with brownies, cheddar cheese, and movie marathons.
I don't like it when hero has a dead spouse that he really loved but it's 3* because he was faithful not only with his deceased wife while married but he was the same with heroine.

This book ends at 47% and then it's Hawk's Property and I didn't realise until I'd finished 'Banger' that I'd previously started 'Hawk's' and it was a DNF for me I only made it to 8%. I faired a lot better this time and made it to the end of 'Banger' This is a nice enough read, it's obvious early on who the 'baddie' is and how the book will go but it was ok, Bella was completely clueless and easily manipulated but her heart was in the right place. Banger was sexy and handsome although he did blow hot and cold at times and seemed more cute and loving than lethal. I try not to comment on covers because they invariably change but I have to say I hated this one.
It wasn't a bad one or anything like that, I actually like this author's writing style. Fun, badass alpha males. Nothing new I guess, it was a pretty good MC book. Worth reading if you like this sort of stuff.
Although I read this book out of sequence, I really enjoyed Banger and Belle's second chance love story. Banger, Prez of the Insurgents lost his wife to ovarian cancer six years prior and Belle's husband died almost a year or so before the H/h met. Cara (Hawke's old lady from "Hawke's Property") from a previous book, sorta set them up to met at the restaurant where her friend, Belle works and to me that was the 'special' part of the book even though Hawke and Banger knew she was up to something.
The H/h's attraction was immediate but Belle had responsibilities --two children, a sweet son and a helpful daughter to take care of ... Banger wouldn't accept her saying no to him. They started dating, talking about their past, their children, things was discovered and then and then, well all hell breaks loose in the story! Belle's husband's 23 year old mistress comes to her job asking her about money that she didn't have. From there on out you see Belle is being set up for killing her cheating dead husband by a "who knew" 'friend'- crazy good and intense!
So if you like a thriller/mystery, suspense, world domination - no, not world domination but erotic romance with a striking handsome MC Prez with swag, well "Banger's Ride" is the book!
Banger’s Ride by Chiah Wilder was the fifth book in the Insurgent’s MC series.
I have taken a break from formal review for a while, but a couple quick thoughts: I enjoyed the suspense. The author gave us a suspenseful and seemingly obvious prologue with a few twists and turns as the storyline progressed. I also liked both characters, Banger and Belle, but I preferred more depth. The author added dimension through Belle’s children, and although parts of their (the kids) story was left open, I hope to see more of them in the future. All in all, it was quick and entertaining.
I enjoyed the murder mystery part in this story but I had it figured out at 54% who the murderer was. The story itself was a typical MC story. I liked that the club owned some rather nice venues. The one percenters in my city don't. I liked the story well enough but I don't feel compelled to read the rest of the series.

Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Trope: single parent, heroine in peril Angst: 😱😱😱 Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥
So this one wasn't my favorite of the series, but it was still enjoyable and I'm glad I read it. I just didn't like the pairing of these two MCs as much as the others. She just felt a bit too timid for him. But the storyline was great, moved quickly, and had plenty of action and suspense. Definitely want to dive right into his daughters book!
Banger, President of the Insurgents MC, never thought he would find love again. When his woman passed away, he figured that was it but when he meets Belle Dermot, something shifts.
Belle doesn't need to get involved in a relationship, she is a widower whose husband betrayed and cheated on her. Trust doesn't come easy but when Banger pursues her, Belle can't deny the attraction but can she trust him. Trying to raise two children her priorities are set, but Banger inserts himself into her life and the kids. It is not smooth sailing though as there is betrayal happening in the MC and Belle has her own set of problems.
Enjoyable read. I liked Banger, he struggles with his new found feelings plus he has a daughter of his own. I thought the emotions brewing between the children were spot on, you could understand the conflicting emotions. the way the story unfolded was fantastic, great read.
Momma’s Review of Banger’s Ride by Chiah Wilder Momma’s Rating 4 Stars I’ve been waiting for Banger’s book, and the wait was well worth it! Can I say how nice it was to read an MC where the characters were older and wiser, yet still pulled you in and gave you all the grit and dirty talking that those of us that enjoy a good MC read are looking for? Belle’s character was strong and a woman who had lived a life and come out the other side better for it. If you’ve read all the books in the series then, you like me can see the growth in Chiah’s writing, and she can weave the web that you can’t help but get caught in. Great book and I seriously can’t wait for more from this author! * Received an ARC courtesy of the Enticing Journey Book Promotions in exchange for an honest review** **Reviewed for Hellmouth’s Bookblog & Reviews**
I just can't with this book. I wanted to reach inside the book and throttle the life out of Belle. She is one of the most horrible h that I've ever read in a book. She let her daughter walked all over her, she's too stupid to see that her supposedly BFF is a horrible person and she's such a doormat. Banger is a nice enough dude and I feel that the author did his character a major disservice by pairing him with someone like Belle. It's such a shame because the premise of the book is okay with me, I just have an intense dislike for Belle.
More like 2.5 stars. I just couldn't feel the warmth/emotion. At times the h really seems TSTL. So many things that just pushed my envelope of belief. Had the potential to be so much more but for me, it just wasn't there.
Belle is a widower with a troubled teenage girl and young son. Her husband had cheated on her and when he died he left them broke. So she's working at a diner to support her kids. Banger is the president of Insurgents MC. He is a widow with a daughter in college. His wife died of cancer six years ago and he never thought he'd want a woman in his life. But when he meets Belle, he knows she is very special. Belle has been hurt and is afraid of having her heart broken but she can't resist him. Someone is trying to set her up for her late husbands death. Plenty of steamy, smoking sex. And an ending that will leave you thinking "Holy Cow!" And sexy bikers.
HAWK'S PROPERTY Cara is an attorney out with her best friend when she meets Hawk at a biker bar. Hawk is VP of the Insurgents MC. When Hawk gets into some trouble, his club is referred to her. After she gets him out of trouble they have sex, on her desk. She tells him it was a one time thing. He gets mad and she gets mad about some of the things he says to her. But when a rival motorcycle club threatens her, he is there to keep her safe. She has been looking into the killings of young girls and now they want to shut her up permanently. Hawk will do anything to keep her safe even keep her in the club with him. Lots of dirty sex. Suspense. Hot bikers and a sexy lawyer. Why I have it four was because at first the dialogue between the characters didn't sound real but on in the book it was better. Also, she would say something hateful or snobbish to Hawk, then he'd say something back and she'd get all mad and hurt feelings. I wanted to smack the crap out of her.
I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, secrets, lies, deceit, and heartbreak.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Hawk's Property (Insurgents MC, #1) Jax's Dilemma (Insurgents MC, #2) Chas's Fervor (Insurgents MC, #3) Axe's Fall (Insurgents MC #4)
This is Belle and Banger‘s story. Belle losing her husband and finding out he was cheating she is in a new town with her kids. She is working and does not need another man in her life after the last one. Banger is not looking for anyone he is doing fine all on his own. When he meets Belle the chemistry is off the charts. She cooks great food and is trying to take care of thing son her own. Banger wants to help her and also claim her but can he get her to believe in him? Belle does not want another man involved in all her issues trying to take over. But can she really resist Banger? When the past comes back can she handle it on her own or will she need Banger more than ever?
I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through Crazy Cajun Book Addicts for an honest review.
This is my first read of anything from Chiah Wilder and although it is book 5 in this series it can completely be read as a standalone but I will say I am definitely going back and reading the other books in this series.
Belle's husband has died and left her and their 2 children homeless and penniless. Belle decides to move family to a new town with the help of her best friend Holly, to hopefully pick up the pieces of their lives and start again but with a delinquent teenage daughter and having to work all the hours possible to provide for them that's no easy task. Finding love is the last thing on her mind but that's all about to change when she's introduced to Banger the President of the Insurgents MC.
It's a great read that keeps you in suspense as you turn the pages to see what's going to happen next it's also goes to shows that not everyone are what they first seem. Definitely one to read if your a fan of MC reads.
Banger, President of the Insurgents MC, is a widower, his daughter Kylie is in college. After his wife Grace died of cancer six years ago, he never thought he'd want a woman in his life as he isn’t looking for a replacement. He satisfies his carnal urges with the club girls. He may have sparkling blue eyes and an infectious smile, but he’s not someone one would want to cross. Set in his ways, tough, tattooed, Banger is doing just fine until Cara introduces him to her single parent client Belle, who cooks like a dream. He can’t get enough of her cooking…or her. For the first time since being widowed, he wants more.
Belle Dermot is a widow with two children whose husband left her penniless. She has suffered through utter humiliation, betrayal and grief, and is afraid of trusting another man. Wanting a fresh start, she moves to Pinewood Springs and accepts a job at the local diner cooking delicious, home-cooked meals in order to support her children. It had been the best decision she’d made. Except for the long hours, she’d tried to make a normal home for her son and daughter. Emily hadn’t dealt well with the loss of her father and had been drinking and ignoring her curfew.
After discovering her husband was cheating, the last thing she wants is another complication in her life whilst fending off wild accusations from a greedy step-daughter. Harold embezzled millions from his company, but neither she nor the insurance investigators were ever able to locate it. His dalliance with a very young mistress, leads her to paying Belle a visit demanding money that he promised her…followed on the very same day, by a visit from a Lakeview Police department detective, questioning her motives, prompted by Jessica’s accusations. The detective hinted that Harold’s death may not have been due to natural causes.
He’d left her and the kids penniless after bleeding the company dry, embezzling funds for the past three years. There was nothing left—even the house had three liens on it.
Jessica thought she’d get a large inheritance, and at the funeral accused Belle of spending all the money or stashing it somewhere. Detective Sanders showed her the picture of her purse and the syringe he had recovered from storage after Jessica Dermot Hoskins had rung him. “Do you recognize anything in the photograph?” “Uh… The purse is mine, but I don’t recognize the syringe. It isn’t like any of the ones my husband used for his insulin shots. What does this mean?”
Her friend Holly aka Leeann aka Louella Cummings has no moral compass, nor does Holly/Leeann/Louella’s despicable brother Scorpion. She has to contend with a sixteen-year old daughter with a drinking problem, prone to violent outbursts and then there’s her young son, Ethan.
It appears someone is trying to frame Belle for Harold’s murder. We discover Holly was another of his trysts, administering the lethal dose and in turn planting the syringe to incriminate Belle.
At twenty-one, broke, and worn down by her self-righteous parents, she’d landed a job at a tourist resort on the lake. When Harold, twenty-five years her senior, took an interest in her, she’d jumped at the opportunity to give her daughter a better life. He was a widower who’d lost his wife the year before with a son and daughter who were older than Belle. In six months, she and Harold were married, even though her parents threatened to disown her and his daughter, Jessica, accused her of being a “gold-digging slut.” Five years later, she’d given birth to Ethan. Harold had a successful textile company, and Belle didn’t need to work. They had a very nice life.
She’d given Harold a good home and taken care of him, and when she’d found out he’d been cheating on her with his clichéd twenty-three-year-old secretary, he’d broken her heart. He’d admitted the affair when she’d confronted him, and he’d sworn it was nothing more than sex and freaking out about becoming old. He’d begged Belle to forgive him, to not leave him, so she stayed. He’d been the financial rock of the family. Then he’d died, his death had set her free from the betrayal.
She’d even put up with his b*tchy daughter, who hates her. Jessica has always held a hatred for Belle to the point of obsession, making wild accusations, determined on making her life miserable. Jessica had been spoilt, her father placating her childish greed despite being a married woman with children. Harold had given Jessica substantial money over the years, now she blamed Belle for the money being gone, convinced that she’s withholding her rightful inheritance.
Holly is her alleged ‘best friend’, without a moral compass and has her own agenda, a grifter conning people into signing life insurance policies. She’s been intimately involved with Belle’s husband for years. Scorpion (Craig) is despicable and it’s an insult to refer to him as a human being, and then there’s her bratty teenage daughter Emily prone to violent outbursts. Emily was sent to Holly for better supervision threatened with foster care, instead she found nothing wrong with a sixteen-year-old dating a twenty-one-year-old man.
After Banger finds Scorpion forcing himself on Belle, there’s a violent altercation, confronting her, she admits Scorpion is Holly’s brother and Holly’s been relentlessly pushing his unwanted advances at her. The same Holly that counselled her not to share anything about Scorpion to Banger since they’re rival clubs.
Then there’s Banger’s daughter, Kylie, for the past six years after Grace’s death, it’s been just the two of them. She’s not very receptive to anyone taking up her father’s affection.
Belle was far too accepting. She doesn’t confide her suspicions to Banger, she deletes unknown texts from the other woman, but confides everything to Holly. She deliberately withholds that Scorpion has returned to town. Belle’s tolerance of Emily’s questionable behaviour at sixteen was disconcerting.
Banger and Belle were great my favorite book so far in the series. The way Banger loved his first wife was so wonderful and beautiful and it's nice to have the alpha male willing to be so upfront and emotional. It was a really nice love story I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anybody who loves the Insurgents MC. As always Chiah Wilder you have dying for the next book.
Holy cow this book was good! I love this series and I knew it would take a woman like Belle to help Banger heal after the death of his wife Grace. This book had a great storyline and characters that flowed. I can't wait for Bangers daughters book!
Book five is Banger and Belle's story. I actually liked this one. We were able to see a side of Banger we didn't get to see in the other books. I found I liked Belle, it was nice to see an older woman, one that wasn't perfect and she was mature and acted like it. I liked her more than Banger. It was nice to have scenes outside the clubhouse, we got to view things a little different, no club girls in this one. It's amazing how much I disliked Hawk in his book, but as the books go on we see a different side to him, a better side. I think Banger will be faithful and he is a good father.
Why only three stars? I didn't like Banger's anger issue. The way he talked to Belle when she accidently walked in on a meeting. He was on the verge of hurting her. And then when he jumped the gun and thought she betrayed the club, he was awful to her, even thought about having to slit her throat. At this point, I was hoping she would run as fast as she could from him. Belle should have made him work harder for forgiveness. And not to mention his baby attitude when she wanted to spend time with her kids instead of him.
Overall, A good read. I liked that there was not cheating of any sort, including getting excited while watching the club girls. We got to see life outside the club. And Banger and Belle made a good couple. On to the next book, still looking for the woman who will stand up to these guys.

I read the first 4 and this one is my last. The storyline is very repetitive. I've become bored to tears with it. Also, I don't like how A. Banger has the nerve to get upset when she has to be a parent. Not endearing or charming. And B. Her daughter is going to truancy court and also has another case pending but instead of staying home with the kids to enforce some kind of punishment she makes plans for her kids to go to their friends houses for the night while she goes out with her friend. The daughter is misbehaving bc there's no discipline or structure in this ladies house. It's annoying to read about. I also felt the prologue was ambiguously worded for later dramatic effect and I found that a cheap way of getting the drama into the story. This one is just petty but half of the verbs used in this book was the word pull. She felt a pull between her legs when she saw him. He took a long pull off his beer. Pull, pull, pull over and over again. Bottom line I didn't like Banger, Belle was a doormat to her daughter and Holly got on my nerves.
This is the first book by this author that I have read that I felt had any real substance. I think this can be attributed to the maturity of the couple with the H being 46 y/o and the h being 38 y/o. The other books that I have read by this author are primarily erotica with very little character and plot development. I find that I want a little romance and character dimension with my erotica. This book gave me that. It also had interesting secondary characters and a suspenseful twist.
I still find the dialogue between characters a tad juvenile, and robotic. The matter-of-fact approach to MC violence often creates problems with both plot and character development. So, make sure you are up for gratuitous sex and violence before reading any of the MC books by this author. It’s been hit or miss for me. This one met the mark...again, most likely because of the maturity of the couple.
This book is good it just takes a little longer to get into it. When the book started to get interesting I couldn't put it down. It was a surprise to me when I found out Bell's best friend was the one that killed her husband and tried to kill her. I just wished that her step daughter from her first marriage should have been put in her place and made to apologize to her. In the end it all worked out but then she got pregnant and that was a shock to all so I hope in the book about Bangers daughter she is happy about having a sibling. It's something to read. Everyone needs to read the series it keeps you entertained. Hope for more books with the Insurgents MC in the furture.
I really enjoyed this story . Banger was a lovable hero . The one thing about the club I didn’t like was that the old ladies and girlfriends are never allowed to go to a party , only family days in case the guys want to screw the whores. It felt like they were encouraging cheating even though Banger didn’t participate once he was a taken man .
It makes me skiddish about the rest of the series but that’s just a personal preference. I also found it weird that out of no where the heroine shows up at the clubhouse that she’s never been to before and just walks into church while the club is meeting . Wth was she thinking?
I found this book good but I kinda knew who the bad guy was near the beginning. The author was good at trying to put in some loops but you could totally tell. But other than that, the relationship between Belle and Banger was same as in any other romance, had ups and downs but some moments were total cheese. I loved it though! I liked how the pairs daughters didn't readily accept that their parent was in another relationship. If I was Emily's mom oh boy she would've been going to boot camp....what a brat and most of it was Belle's fault. Kylie I thought was old enough to not act like a stuck up snob, but hey what do I know.
This is my first book by Chiah Wilder and I'm and I waited so long. This book is a MC romance with some romantic suspense thrown in. After the Death of her husband, Belle and her children start over in a new town and at her new job as a cook at the local diner. Between her job and her always in trouble teenage daughter, men are the last thing on her mind. That is until Insurgents MC Club President walks into her life. But in the shadows lurks a past that won't let go. This book is amazing. I didn't want to put this down. Chiah is a wonderful author and I can't wait to read more of her books
