This compilation makes up the first three books of the Cloverleah Pack series.

The Reluctant Wolf
Kane Matthews, Alpha of his small wolf pack in Cloverleah has been raised to believe that mates are not possible for gay men and has lived his life accordingly. Kicked out of his home pack years before because of his sexual orientation Kane has built a solid and comfortable life for himself in the small town of Cloverleah. Imagine his surprise when an unscheduled visit to the small town's diner unleashes a flood of emotions in the man he didn't think possible - not least of all, lust. But finding out it is possible for wolf shifters to have gay mates is just one of the things that Kane has to overcome if he is to have the forever future he has been hoping for.

Shawn Bailey never expected to find his mate. He is just too different - an "Other" who has the power to instill fear in any other shifter. After spending ten years on the run from his Alpha father he spends most days just trying to stay alive. When a chance encounter brings him face to face with his mate Shawn has to decide if the man in front of him is worth staying for.

But with hunters, Alpha challenges, Kane's parents and a smitten Alpha from another pack all interfering in Kane and Shawn's budding romance, not to mention some surprising answers about Shawn's own unique talents can these two true mates find the happily ever after they are looking for?

The Runaway Cat
Book Two Cloverleah Pack Series

Griff Matthews knew he looked like trouble but for a wolf shifter mechanic he was fairly laid back most of the time. Pleased that his Alpha was finally settled with his new mate, Griff longs to meet the man of his dreams. Little did he know he would find it that same evening, when he was too drunk to realize that his good looking hook-up was actually his mate. Problem is when he woke up sober his bed was empty.

Derrick “Diablo” Franklin was just looking for a hook up with a like minded shifter. The sexy cat shifter was deep undercover for the FBI and although his case was coming to an end, he had hopes for his career that didn’t involve finding a mate. However after meeting Griff Diablo realized his plans might have to change.

But nothing is easy for the two men as they battle the FBI, a crime lord from Baton Rouge and a host of contenders looking to take Diablo away from Griff. And just who is Angel Bandures?

When No Doesn't Cut It
Book 3 - Cloverleah Pack series

Scott Peterson, beta wolf in the Cloverleah Pack, had a good life. He loved his cars, riding his Harley, and going out with pack members and friends. But when an attack on his pack by a bear shifter, brings his mate into his world, from Texas of all places, Scott realizes he could lose everything he ever held dear.

Damien, Alpha wolf of the San Antonio Pack, didn’t want to go to Cloverleah and definitely didn’t want to be chasing a rogue bear shifter that was threatening the Alpha of the Cloverleah Pack. But he was in for a pleasant surprise when he finds his mate. Now, if he could just find the time to enjoy him.

Between murderous bears, deceptive wolves, two packs and a BDSM club, the road to HEA is anything but smooth for Scott and Damien. And then there’s a fire, and an Alpha Challenge, and let’s not forget Diablo and Griff’s wedding. About the only thing Scott and Damien haven’t got is time to be together, and it is that lack of time that could pull them apart.

I love reading Lisa Oliver's book. They are light and not too long with a variety of characters and interesting story lines. The first book in this bundle feels more like an introduction to the series - it explains where everyone comes from and what beliefs they hold.

The second book starts delving deeper into this shifter community and how paranormals blend in the human world. It's a little more intense and deals with human crime lords and undercover agents. A fast-paced read with magical elements.

But I can say that among this three books the third is my favorite. It has darkness and grit, determination and character development over stretch of time. It's more detailed I think and the most favored, by me at least. But that is not to say that others don't deserve my commendations because they do - Lisa creates a world filled with diverse characters and smart plot lines sprinkled with humor and full of love. A very enjoyable read!

Fun stories but NEED editing

A great little series here, imaginative and fun with a fair amount of potential. The characters are pretty well-developed, and the stories are believable, for the most part. I did have trouble reading through it, though, and would probably give it at least another star, maybe two, if better basic editing had been done.

I've never seen such disregard for basic punctuation rules, which made it hard to read and understand. The basic difference between "let's eat Gramma" vs. "let's eat, Gramma" makes all the difference in how a statement is perceived and understood. Random placement of apostrophes and commas, possessives that made no sense at all, a lack of apostrophes and commas where they were needed, and all of that in addition to several common to/too/two, wear/where/ware and similar typos repeated throughout the writing. It wasn't until part way through the third story that the writing finally started to get better and allow for a smoother story flow.

I realize the author has written quite a bit since these were first released and can only assume (and hope) she's found a good editing team to help by now. Even still, I think it would be worth the time to go back and correct how bad these stories are in their current form. The corrections needed would not need to change the story content, but they would make a huge difference in perception and readability. At present, I can't imagine paying good money for any of these books, never mind paying for any unread, which is just sad because the entertainment, imagination and presentation found here are well worth buying to read.

Loved It

This was an amazing boxset. I loved each book in it and just loved how each one flowed into the next. There were some grammatical errors, but they didn't distract me from the story and action that was going on. The characters were strong and interesting, and I loved that the mates were strong even though they might not have been Alpha. Even the supporting characters were interesting and strong in their own way which makes you want to pick up the next book to keep reading. I really hope that she makes a box set out of the rest of books in the series or make them available on kindle unlimited, because I'm very hooked on this series and the characters and can't wait to see what happens next.

Great story!

I love these characters and their stories.
The characters in these books are American but speak like Australian's. We don't say "bloody" or "mate". That made it kind of weird to read the dialogue and get used to.
The thing that bugged me the most and hindered my pleasure in reading this book was the atrocious editing. I stopped counting when I reached 50 mistakes.
I realize that many self publishing authors can't hire a professional editor, however; there are plenty of beta readers that can help. When bad editing gets more attention than the story there is a problem.
I am not a "professional" editor or proofreader but I am willing to help for free, that's how much I like these stories.

Simply Loved It.

Lisa Oliver’s characters always reach out and grab me by my heart. That’s such an essential part of enjoying a book if you don’t love the characters, you can’t love the book. If you do then you can’t wait to read more of their story and gather them even more firmly into your heart. Of course the great storylines and heartfelt romance that came with the characters didn’t hurt either. I thoroughly recommend the three books that make up this boxed set and can’t wait to continue to read the rest of the series. I’ve already bought the next three books I want to read in it; Book 4 and the two books with short stories that happen on either side of Griff’s a Diablo’s NY wedding.

Worth an edit

It says something that I did finish this set. There is a lot of potential on the characters and storyline but the stories contain frustratingly easy to avoid motivation, internal story logic, spelling and grammar issues. “Souring” instead of “soaring” changes the sentence meaning a lot! Well worth an edit for the latter.
There’s a lot of angst in trusting the commitment/connection/emotions of fated mates. This gets better from book 1 to 3. You’d hope, if you met your fated mate, that this would be less of a problem?
I’m not sure I’ll follow the rest of the series and I wish Lisa well.

Love the intricate details and possibilities

I adore a mystery along with romance. As each couple gets their HEA, I see possible intrigue developing in multiple areas that has me looking forward to the next book. I adored the hidden depths that Griff possessed and I was pleased that Scott was willing to stand his ground in order to achieve an equal partnership. I was happy with Kane and the other pack members for being open minded to Shawn and his unexplained differences. All in all an excellent read.

laugh, love, and family

So much love and angst for the men of cloverleah. But with it comes the rewards of a family so strong they can overcome so much. Shawn style is the new normal…griff and diablo are the epitome of beauty…the twins hit the snarky button needed.

The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because of editing issues
