I received this book in a giveaway. It was a great read: a collection of poems, each poem shares a story, a feeling, a scene. As I read through, I kept imagining the poems as song lyrics--some things are just written like they're meant to be music. I would definitely read more.

The title of the book is also the title of one of the poems, and I think it fits both, but the work as a whole especially. The whole time I was reading it, I kept thinking that these poems would make great songs. They are about something and nothing at the same time, and provoke lots of thought. Some spots were a teensy bit choppy, but imagining everything as songs, it wasn't a problem. I do find it kind of interesting that a couple of the poems had capitals and punctuation while the majority did not, but I felt the lack of grammar was appropriate.
Note: I received this book for free through Goodreads Giveaways.

I'll be honest; poetry is not my thing. I am of a "say it like it is" person. However, after saying that, I found this book of poetry interesting and even found a couple that I read over several times. I thought the one titled "This Train" was particularly melodic and "rainy Days Revisited" was a reminder to have fun and not be be too mature.

I won this book in a goodreads giveaway, but that did not affect my opinion.

This book of poetry was interesting. A lot of the songs I think could be made into songs with the way they flow and the themes of them. My favorite one of the book is Midnight Angels. Some ones really make you think and some just flow through quickly. Easy read for a rainy afternoon. I won this book through a goodreads giveaway, thank you.

This is a Goodreads win review. This is a book of poems around the topic of Route 66 which I saw when I moved across the country.

Every poem makes you think, and the images are extremely vivid. The word and title choices fit together perfectly. I agree some of these poems could be songs. My favorite poem is "Dirty Truck."

I recieved this book as a Good reads Giveaway...Thank you! It was an interesting read, bordering on the dark and melancholy. I think many of these poems would make good lyrics. as I read them, I found myself hearing blues music in my head. Worth the read.
