A wonderful book about spiritual warfare and the importance of prayer!!
Written by a Missionar with years of experience in the field..
This edition (Kindle) contains a bonus consistent of a collection of prayers for diverse occasions and if practice with perseverance and faith, I would say life changing!!!
Also included are powerful prayer strategies and the Lords prayer with his topics..
I did find it very enriching and the quotations by Andrew Murray and others very uplifting!!!
A very useful and practical reading experience about a huge and important matter..
I'm motivated to continue my prayers and it has given me a fresh and new heavenly view.
Recommendations to all my goodreads friends with an open heart without prejudice!!!

I grew up in church but like many others, I walked away as a young adult – determined to live life on my terms. Turns out my terms kind of stunk but I was too proud to admit it. I finally came back to church about fifteen years ago and have a much deeper relationship with God than I ever knew possible as a young person. I believe in, have witnessed and personally experienced the power of prayer. However, I have struggled to go deeper in my own prayer life. Powerful Prayers in the War Room by Daniel Lancaster has given me a step-by-step guide to a deeper, more powerful prayer life. The basic principles, tips and strategies laid out in this little book are invaluable.
I have read a few books on prayer over the years and it seems as though most make it more complicated than it really should be, which is neither helpful nor encouraging for the believer struggling with his/her prayer life. Additionally, most believers know that the Lord’s Prayer is the example Jesus gave us of how to pray, but like many believers, I can honestly say that I have never taken the time to study and understand it. Lancaster’s years of study, missionary work, and pastoring have led to a simple, user-friendly guide to a more powerful prayer life. He has taken the Lord’s Prayer and other simple examples of Jesus praying in the Bible and given readers four weapons of prayer, seven powerful prayer topics (taken directly from the Lord’s Prayer), outlined four ways in which God answers prayer, three war room prayer strategies and nine tips to improve one’s prayer life – all in one forty-six page book!
In addition to this little book being a valuable and very usable tool, Lancaster’s writing style is fluid and easy to read. His examples and stories are relatable and do an excellent job of illustrating his points. In fact, after reading this book for free via the Kindle Unlimited program, I decided I needed to be sure I always had a copy available to me, so I purchased it. I will not only be referring to this book regularly as I put the recommendations and tips into practice, I will also be recommending it to friends and family whom I know are struggling as well.

This was a worthwhile read and a book I will go back to for reference. While I do believe that we can get so caught up in how to pray that we forget to pray, the author gives some valuable information on what really matters in prayer and how to pray in a real and meaningful way. I especially liked his thoughts on the Lord's Prayer.

Great truths
Great truths are in this book with ways for us to remember and practice how we approach our Father. Love all the scriptures and quotes of great examples of prayer. The idea of journaling was also a great way to remember that He is God.

Awesome book!
I like this book because it gave valuable insight on how to pray and it was very detailed. I have read other books and they gave you no details or instructions but this book showed you what prayer should look like. I would recommend this book to anyone who wishes to strengthen their prayer life. I gave this book five stars because it was more than helpful for what I need on my spiritual walk and to enhance my prayer life.

Great book on prayer tactics.
This book was a big help in understanding what many consider a difficult topic. It broke prayer down into a system that almost anyone can apply to their prayer life.

More effective prayers
This book was most helpful in helping me identify areas in my prayer life that I needed to practice in order to have a more effective prayer life. I certainly enjoyed reading this book and definitely recommend it.

I was excited by the title…
Not as much by the content.
If you are looking for focused spiritual warfare insight, this is not the book you are looking for. If you are looking for a different way to pray than that which you may have been doing, you may find this book helpful. If you enjoy soul-based prayer rituals, you may find some useful suggestions to change up your prayer routine.
I was seeking spirit-based warfare that understands our authority in prayer based on what Yeshua purchased for us by His Blood and Resurrection, empowered and facilitated by HolySpirit to tear down strongholds & raise up prayer warriors understanding we have been invited to come boldly to our Father’s Throne on that basis. This is not that book.
So whether I recommend this book to those reading this review is entirely dependent upon what you are seeking and expecting to find here. If basically looking for a change in your prayer routine, this is likely what you are looking for.
If expecting to find information on Spiritual Warfare, in my opinion and experience, you will likely be disappointed.
Having said that, this book is very short, inexpensive, and not a waste of time. There are several good things one can certainly take away from this book so I would not say it is a “waste of time,” provided one has realistic expectations of what is to be found here.

Ok, so it is an easy read if you are new to prayer. Otherwise, there are a couple of things to note. First, half the pages of the book are adverts for, and excerpts from, the author's other books. Secondly - and crucially - some of the teaching is based on common and popular practices; but not scriptural ones. In particular, notice how when there is Biblical evidence he provides it. Naturally, when what he teaches is nice or popular alone, you will find no supporting scripture offered. What a terrible, terrible shame that they allowed him to use the War Room logo. Go back to the original book and get taught properly!

Daniel Lancaster has researched the topic of prayer well and he takes the reader through a series of different methods of effectual prayer!
This book can be read within a fee hours with time to re-read some methods of how to pray in different ways!
I would thoroughly recommend this book to anyone who is hungry for GOD!

Very helpful
I greatly needed this book! Because of the concept of PRAY, my prayers are so much more organized, and the hand movements make me feel more connected to God. I have tried praying aloud. At first it felt strange but eventually I got used to it. The entire book was helpful, but the PRAY steps helped the most.

Inspirational and heartfelt!
I 'm so glad that I read this amazingly inspiring prayer book. This was a blessed and encouraging journey of discovery in my prayers life. The author gave examples of his prayer walk with God that can help the readers of they do desire in taking a step towards growing in their prayer life. A excellent experience in reading.

I usually don't write a review, but this book was too good to not write one. As I was reading the book, I felt the urge to kneel down at that very moment and pray to God. Such wonderful content in a readable less no. of pages. I know this will be useful for anyone who wants to improve their prayer life. Cause knees kneeled down can change the world. Hermoso libro.
Es un libro muy bueno, espectacular, nos enseña los pasos para orar de manera correcta, de acercarnos realmente a Dios, cumplir su voluntad y tener paciencia para esperar a que se cumpla en nosotros la voluntad y el camino que Dios nos ha planteado y quiere que lo logremos.

Short, quick read on some basic prayer points. While I've progressed past needing this, it was a fantastic read to remind me and encourage my prayer life. Would be ideal for a new Christian learning to pray and even for the seasoned prayer warrior to encourage their daily prayers. Very digestible and easy to understand. I recommend!

Outstanding summary!
Yes, some of the principals are old hat to anybody who has been plugged in for a while. I am not a "baby Christian " by any stretch, but I learned a lot by diligently going through this book. Nice to have a concise review if nothing else. Thank You.
