That's the best part about real life, man. No story is already written. No finished copy is being put in circulation for actors to learn. There's no script to stick to. Whatever you want , you just gotta go get it.”

Already Written is my first Xavier Neal book and to be honest this book could really give a positive vibe. The author delivered a lighthearted, fast paced, funny yet enjoyable read that could really made your day and at the same time will warm your heart. But beware though, when you read this book please stop smiling like your crazy but seriously you really can't stop it!

Know why?Oh you have to read the book to definitely understand what I mean. ;)

To be real honest, this book gave me first a "cliche" vibe but seriously this doesn't stop me from keeping on turning the pages because no matter how I think it's kinda cliche I can't deny the fact that I was hooked with Minka and Pierce story. These two characters are just so adorable I want to bottle them up then lock them because their just hilarious I can't contain my laughter and and smiles as I went on from page to page. That moment when your at a populated area you need to laugh silently without opening your mouth or smiling and yet your eyes are twinkling?Man! I just did those reading this book. The writing is flawless too I haven't known I'm almost finished. Even the secondary characters is worth rooting for. No heavy drama although there's a little issue near the end, yet it just made the book more edgier. Lighthearted but will make your heart jump at the expectation of the next scene.

Funny thing about books and reality. I could scribble in a few well placed lines, a romantic exchanging of apologies and give you a happily ever after. But I can't do that now. This isn't a Minka Knight novel. The grim reality is happily ever after is just temporary. Looks like mine's over. Permanently. I guess I should just be grateful I finally got a story worth reading about.

Overall, this book really is a must read. If you're up to humorous story with adorable leads and great moral? Then this book is for you. I for instance is on awe of this authors ability to deliver a book that will really struck you...As I said lighthearted but f*ck!!! I'm so in love with it!

Below are one of my favorite lines in the book that really srruck me.

“Dates are a dime a dozen, but you Minka Knight are not.”More nervous than I was for the audition that made me as famous as I am, I continue, “There's no one else in the world remotely like you. You're one in a million. You're my one in a million. I don't want a Cam or a Tessa. I don't want a headline or a front page. I just want you. I want the woman I can share hot dogs with.” ~ Pierce

Best part is I didn't even have to write the romantic things he says or does. It's all real and genuine, proving once more life doesn't need rewrites and revisions . While my non-fiction story is full of errors and unexpected twists, it's still beautiful and I love that it's mine. ~Minka

So Romantic!

Minka Knight is an odd,shy, nerdy, babbling,socially awkward woman who would rather write a romance than live one. She spends her time writing her best selling romance novels, but managed to take the time for a much needed get away with her bestie. While on a coffee run a handsome stranger spills coffee all over her,imagine her surprise when the handsome stranger turns out to the T.V. actor Pierce Wyatt. Pierce is taking a few days off from filming his hit T.V. show. While out getting his morning drink he runs into a beautiful woman who is not at all star struck. Liking what he sees,he ask her out and their adventure begins,but will his shy beauty be able to deal with all that comes with loving a star or will Minka run for the hills.
I literally could not put this book down. It was so good,so well written and oh so romantic! I loved Pierce and Minka's romance. The way Pierce just craved normalcy in his chaotic world and how Minka was such a nerd girl book worm that didn't think someone like Pierce would want her, but found out they were just what the other needed, sweet! The secondary characters where so funny especially Preston and Emerson,they had me laughing at some of the crazy things they said. Really good read.

This is one of those stories where you liked it, but you don't know why you liked it. You know what I mean? I liked Minka 'cause she reminded me a little of myself, and in this case, it's both good and bad. She was likable enough, but a little annoying at times. I wasn't all that crazy about Pierce, but Preston, his brother, is a different story-'cause he got one and I wanna know it...

I think this was one of Xavier's better stories.
Sometimes people just have a connection and when Minka and Pierce meet that's exactly what happens.
They're both on a weekend vacation and they know that just one weekend will never be enough. What happens is a struggling but sometimes funny long distance relationship.
My favorite thing is how Pierce being the Hollywood star is sometimes overwhelmed with the fangirling Minka gets from her readers, especially his assistant, that part just cracked me up.
I think Xavier is into another great series with this and up next is Pierce's brother.

I really didn't think that Xavier could write better books than all the ones that I've read by her but she may have them beat with this one. I love the characters in this book, Minka had me laughing so hard with her social awkwardness and the things that come out of her mouth. I was loving Pierce but then I was hating him and then you will love him. Man loving him will not be easy for her that's for sure. I sure had a love/hate relationship with him. I do think that if you were to ask me to list my favorite female characters Minka will for sure be on that list.

Xavier does an great job writing stories that you will find it almost impossible to put down and I love the inner dialog that the characters have with us. They will have you cracking up. Don't get me wrong because this book isn't all comedy, you will have your angst, drama, maddening parts, steamy sexiness the list goes on. I'm telling you that if you pick this book up I don't think that you will regret it.

This book starts out with a chance meeting between Minka and Pierce. He's a huge star and she's ... well a star as well but in front her computer screen is where she's most comfortable. Minka is a bestselling author who's famous in her own circles, which are vastly different from Pierce's.

Pierce and Minka have one of those relationships that just click. They have off the chart chemistry and are the epitome of opposites attract.

Can you imagine a quite bookworm falling for a famous t.v. star who's always in the limelight? It's a whirlwind...there are a few issues of course. Nothing can be perfect.

I read this story pretty quickly. I think if you're looking for a Hollywood meets bestselling bookworm you've met your match here with Already Written.

What a fun book. This was the first time I have read Xavier Neal and I can honestly say it won't be my last. She has a wonderful talent for telling a story.

What happens when a super hot actor, Pierce, accidentally bumps into a nerdy romance author, Minka and his drink spills all over her? He asks her out of course. Why? Because she is adorable in her own way and probably the only girl around that isn't after "Quote" Pierce the sexy actor. In fact, Minka could care less about even going to dinner with him and wants to cancel but he best friend won't let her. And so it begins.

The two will take you on a hilarious ride that you don’t want to miss. “Already Written” is laugh out loud funny at times and oo la la sexy at others. 2 Thumbs Up for a funny, romantic storyline. Highly recommend.

This book was pretty great. Aspiring writer meets hot actor by accident when he spills his drink on her. Wants to take her out as an apology and then ends up wanting more. Minka is wonderful. I love her unfiltered mouth and the fact that she's as modest as she is. She can be a little presumptuous at times, but that's what makes her who she is. Minka and Pierce have a bond that seems unbelievable, but works for them and their lives. I see them in the future getting married and potentially having kids, but not without a few bumps along the way.

LIfe is full of chance encounters. When Minka is getting her regular coffee she runs (literally) into Pierce, a famous star in hiding. A ruined shirt leads to dinner and the rest you have to read to find out. Already Written is full of misadventures and laughs, heartache and tears. Xavier Neal has a way of reaching into your heart and scrambling your feelings while you thank her and ask for the next book please.

Xavier is X-cellent!!

I loved this book. The characters were enjoyable with great personalities. There was no ongoing drama to distract from the romance. The sexual tension was palpable between the two main characters with skilfully written scenes that definitely raised my temperature! There was humor, especially with the verbally clumsy heroine. An enjoyable read.

Life is not scripted

Life is not already written but a real adventure with ups and downs. When things go wrong, it hurts really bad and the pain can not be written away with an HEA like Minka Knight does in her books. Pierce Wyatt fell in love with Minka when he crashed into her. With her, he found a real woman he could have fun and be himself with. Minka wanted Pierce for himself and not for who he was or what he could do for her career and he loved that. But as real life goes, it is not already written and gives one situations that need to solved, especially since Minka and Pierce come from two very different life styles. Minka came to the realization that she does not fit in Pierce's lifestyle and calls it quits. But, they are both miserable without each other, especially Pierce who's willing to give up everything to get Minka back in his life. Luckily, all is forgiven with a compromise.

XAVIER wrote a sweet romance about a couple from two very different lifestyles, adjusting and compromising to what best fits for them. I especially liked Minka's relationship with her best friend Emerson who keeps Minka on an even keel.

Another hit Nottie!!!

Well what can one expect if not another home run for MS. Neal.... This was so cute, so real....
Minka is what you may call her, YOU.... What I mean by that is that anyone who reads this story, Minka will probably be one of us or at least we can find ourselves in Minka.
Pierce is so cute, so down to earth and such a catch. Strong, decisive, and go getter, he is truly a dream.
Now Emerson is ok as a BFF. I would have loved to see her more supportive but maybe because she is next hopefully with Luke, but then again, I think Luke and Steve need a little dark spice in their lives... And how about JJ, who or how is Gen? They seems to be a cute couple. Caroline is actually the bomb and she is better at this BFF than Emerson... But such is life in the world of MS. Neal where we can so relate to each character that we can make comments and suggestions...loving it👏👏👏🙈🙈⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️...
So on that not, let me see if I could found something else to binge in with this quarantine going on!!!

I absolutely LOVED Minka and Pierce's story, I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes.
I loved all of the characters and I hope to see more in future books.
I loved that I felt like i was in the story with these characters and I felt what they felt, I went through all the ups and downs with them while they treaded through there long distance relationship.
I loved that even though they both had issues to work through they worked them out together until Minka was thrusted right into the limelight and things weren't all what they seemed.
Moral of this story is you should NEVER take certain things at face value and communication is key

Talking to a Book

This is a book that really had me speaking to it like Minka or Pierce could really hear me. I cringed when Minka would verbally vomit and swoon would be when Pierce would say something sweet to combat whatever outlandish comment Minka would say and it made for some very good times for me while reading this story. Another good good relatable read from Mrs. Xavier never one to disappoint! By the way I read this in a matter of a few hours I could not put it away. Wow just good!

I need a Pierce in my life

Omg what I wouldn't give to have a Pierce Wyatt in my life!! I mean I could do without the fame but everything else is just....wow. I can kinda relate to Minka, being quiet, into books, and awkward around others, lol. Opposites attract, but what about in real life?!? I love that that distinction is made between reality and book life in their story. If that makes sense lol

Very nice read

I liked both characters. I also liked that the sex scenes did not over shadow the actual story. Although the h was a bit insecure, she held her own on what she wanted. It was charming the way that Pierce just liked Minka. He enjoyed her company. I also enjoyed the secondary cast of characters. Good read.

There's that magic we have come to know and love when we chose to read one of Ms.Nepal's stories. This is and was such a sweet and funny romance,with just enough relationship drama to keep it.moving in the right direction. This is light reading and a really good choice when you need to unwind.

I don't know. I've read better books by Ms Neal. This was ho hum and kind of boring. And the whole internal thoughts of the characters was annoying to me.
