Clayton Morgan loves his family's cattle ranch, the Bluecreek Ranch. But after losing a college buddy to a violent crime, he makes the decision to leave the ranch and his family behind to go into law enforcement.

Then a dark-haired, brown-eyed shy young woman by the name of Laurie Lambright comes into his life. Even though he's attracted to her, she lets it be known right up front that she's not interested in having anything to do with a police officer.

Set during the turbulent years of the mid-1960s, "Laurie's Heart" not only follows the young couple's difficult journey to love, but also takes the readers back to a historic time in our nation's history.

Your heart goes out to Laurie, as a waitress, and going to college. How rewarding a smile made her feel, and from a good looking guy added to it.
For Clay losing a best friend, in a tragic way, change him and his choice of career. Obsessed with cold cases, and fighting evil, dating was far in the future. Till one waitress caught his eye, and all he wanted was to watch her.
After he surprised her with a bouquet of flowers she knew she had fallen. Even though she said, never would it be a cop, and they both were Christians God brought them together, and this story is a delight to read of how, their plans were changed, and for love to happen.

Good to be reminded...God always wants the best for us

Laurie's been alone for sometime after losing both parents, focused on finishing her college degree and moving on to start her teaching career. Waitressing was working well while she went to school full time and she was almost at her goal. When two policemen come into her diner one day for lunch, she doesn't know it will change her life!
A terrific book about overcoming life's tragedies and growing to be the person God has made you. I challenge you to read this book, whether you believe there is a God or not!

Another great story in the Morgan Family Saga series. I believe I enjoyed this one in the saga part of the series the best. Laurie was so easy to get to know and understand where she is coming from. You will enjoy this as you see history unfold before your eyes.

Prequel to BlueCreek

The story of Laurie and Clay's romance is interesting! Watching how God works in Laurie and Clay's lives to bring them together shows how God's plan works for good!

In God's Time

I've always said: God knows our address! Evidently the author also believes this. A good book for relaxation with no real mental challenges.

Just finished reading this book. I love ALL the Morgan family series. You actually feel like part of the family and I didn't want it to end.
