John Patrick is kind of a tool. He talks down to the reader quite often. But I suppose dealing with lots of degenerate gamblers over the years would make anyone pretty cynical. His advice is not really based on any kind of sound math or probability, more common sense than anything. That said, this book did teach me all the basics of playing Craps so that I wasn't as intimidated heading over to the most raucous table in the casino. For that I thank him!
