A fun nostalgia read, particularly because I used to read Pojo literature back when Pokemon first came out. However, it's interesting to see 20ish years later they still have excessive spelling errors and I noticed entire passages of text simply copy and pasted into different sections!

The Unofficial Big Book of Pokemon from Pojo is much better than it's predecessor of the Ultimate Book of Pokemon. This version covers 20 years of Pokemon, from it's origins as Red and Green Pocket Monsters in Japan to the Pokemon Go app. Instead of just being a dry history of how this cultural staple exploded on to the scene, it breaks up the different mediums Pokemon is available in and makes it into easy to read lists. First is the timeline to see how the series developed with video games, trading cards, an anime, and movies. Following the timeline is a summary of the seasons and movies and then a break down of top 10s. Top 10 cards in every set, top 10 of the video games, best 100 cards in the TCG, and a break down of every character in the anime. It was a nice book for fans and especially for collectors!

I loved this book! What I liked especially is that I learned alot about the history of Pokemon.I did not know about games like Pokemon:Snap and Pokemon:Conquest. And I completely agree with the Top 10 Video-Game Pokemon. But what I do not get about this book is that why did they put all of Pokemon TCG(Trading Card Game)Jargon? What is the POINT?!That is why I gave this book a four star score. Other than that,I thought this book was great.I liked that they put in all of the people in the Pokemon World. It alowed me to finally know all the characters!

This book is a fantastic resource for 20+ years of Pokémon information. It covers the tcg, most valuable cards, top 100 cards of all time, and the top 5 cards from each set. As well as a ranking of the top video games, timeline of the series, alphabetical list of the anime characters, and top ten Pokémon of each type.

Just a really great read and a fun look back for anyone interested in 20 years of Pokémon highlights.
