”This book will stay with you long after you have finished reading it. The characters and world are vivid and the excitement level builds until the spectacular climax. Do yourself a favour and read it.” C M Porter
Worshipped by the Ancient Egyptians as the God Djehuty (his greek name is Thoth), Djet is the most powerful sorcerer of his generation, but woefully ignorant when it comes to matters of the human heart. His sister Hathor, vows to teach him a lesson, but her lesson backfires when someone meddles with linear and recurrent time, trapping Djet in modern Egypt. Audrey Delany is a student at the American University in Cairo, majoring in Papyrology and flunking out in love, because she has a fatal attraction to violent men...When these two wind up working together in the dungeon of the Cairo Museum, sparks fly in more ways than one. Diet must figure out how to break the curse of his Exile or he will perish and his world descend into Chaos….but when the agents of chaos come for him, the price of love may be too high to save this world or the next.
This unique romantic suspense is a roller coaster ride of romance, Egyptian antiquities police, magic, warring gods and shape changing demons, that spans the world of the Egyptian gods, ancient and modern Egypt as the forces of chaos attempt to destroy everything that Djet loves and force him to face and resolve the long buried pain of his past.

I received a copy of this book and I gladly leave my review. This is the first book of Wren St Claire’s I’ve read and I must say wow what a great book. The author says it all in the blurb so there’s no point in trying to explain the story, but what I will tell u is that this has a great storyline and characters everything u could want to read in a great book. A definite must read and I recommend this book, it’s well worth the read.
Great story with loads of action . Characters you'll love and support while others not so much. The blurb really does say it all. This author has a very unique writing style which kept me turning pages and hungry for more. This isn't your normal gods/goddess/mortal story and there is nothing normal about the characters. They will wind into your heart and keep you glued to the pages.
This was an enjoyable read, I liked the idea of mixing ancient gods in current times, and the characters were well thought out. The ending went on a bit too long, but I loved everything else.
