This was a good read but from the reviews I expected more. I just wanted more from Hood and Rhythm. We didn't get much from their relationship. it felt rushed to me.

A banging read
This was a banging read. Hood is my new book bae. Him and Rhythm went through it, but she got her man in the end. I read this book in one sitting. It was just that good. There was plenty of drama along the way, but it was well worth sticking it out until the end. Niqua Nakell, you did your thing with this one. Now all I want to know is, what's next?

Good read
Is is an overall good book. I really liked how Rhythm and Hood had to go through so many ups and downs to get to their ending. Slick is the true definition of being loyal to the people who are loyal to you. At times I feel like the book seemed a tad rushed. On top of that I am not a fan of having to guess which character is talking because during the chapters different people started talking in first person.

You did that baby. I love Hood with his crazy ass that's new bae. I love Slick as well his loyalty was true. I'm glad they found a new brother in Mac. I'm glad Rhythm got her man. I loved Telly she was so supportive. Both Hood and Rhy's moms were true riders. I'm almost made it was a standalone.

GREAT READ!!!!!!
Team Hood all the way....yesssss!!! I really enjoyed this book and all its characters. Never a dull moment and it kept me entertained. Also glad that it was a Standalone book....rare

A great storyline. Rhythm tired of being the side chick to Camden moves on once hoods sets his eyes on her. Hood is that nigga no doubt. The drama was just crazy. Nomore spoilers go read

I enjoyed reading about the life of Rhythm and Hood. They were the perfect pair even though they were both stubborn and hard headed.

Niqua Nakell definitely did her thang with this one. Hood is my boo and I love Slick too. I hate that Hood allowed Natalia to come between him and Rhythm. He should have never started back messing with her. What she did to Rhythm was despicable and evil. Instead of her kneecaps her brains should have been blown out. Cedric was wrong for how he did Rhythm also because he knew what she had been through. I'm so glad that Rhythm gave Hood another chance. Slick and Shantell are made for each other. Joe, Dash and Natalia got exactly what they was looking for. They knew that nigga was certifiable. Great book 💜💜

Good read
That was sweet! If you're looking for the usual hardcore, don't love these hoes, IDGAF attitude having male lead this is not the book for you! Even though Hood was not without fault, he was still a good dude. I loved how Rhythm did not put up with his mess from day one! The only reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 4 was because I would have liked some of the things (and time periods) that were glossed over to have had a little more detail. Not that those were detrimental to the story lines, it just would have added a little more to the entertainment part. But keep up the good work!

This books was pure fire. The character are amazing and supportive to one another. The connect that the author give to the readers is great. In the paper back book one chapter repeated itself but that was minor. I have and would recommend this book to anyone. I love me some Hood. I did wish that the author went into detail about the major incident that happened with Rhythm and not just a quick run through.

I love a good story with a happy ending. Rhythm and Hood had their ups and downs but the love they had for one another made them stronger. Of course you had haters by the name of Joe and Dash but it was a small thing to a Giant. Natalia got what she deserved I wish is more cuz she was jealous and bitter

This is my first Niqua Nakell read and I highly recommend this read. FIrst and foremost, engaging characters with a smooth flow. Plus it is a rarity in that it is a 'standalone' read! Whatcha know 'bout that!!!! Kudo's! 4.68

Great story
Loved all the couples relationship. Hood messed up but he got it together and made things right between him and Rhy. I did feel the ending was a little rushed but glad this is a stand alone. No cliff hangers!!

Hood was think ninja. Crazy, sexy and hood rich. He and Rhythm went through so much. But they made it and I'm glad. And Shantel and Slick were made for each other. I even liked Kim and Mac's crazy relationship. Glad to see Natalia and Joe meet that bish named karma.

Dope Boyz Heartbeat
Rhy and Hood scared me a little didn't think they would get back on track. Slick surprised me cause he was the quiet one. Joe just was trif!ing. Natalie dumb behind should of stayed in her place. I hope was hoping Jashae would make up with the girls.
