A Devil's Dream by Stella Noir, Roxy Sinclair is a modern day kinky Bonnie and Clyde.
Cursed with chronic insomnia, Kiana signs up for a sleep study, in hopes to finally get a good night sleep.
Dr. Stavros Kane is handsome, rich and has a secret. He's obsessed with making money and thwarting the authorities. His life seems almost perfect until he meets Kiana Taylor.
This book was so crazy and action packed. The adrenaline rush from the constant sneaking around made this book very entertaining. My biggest caveat was the insta-love... not a fan of this, if this is your thing, then this is the book for you!
My biggest issue with this audiobook was the narrator's performance. There were times that I struggled to hear what she was saying. There seemed to be an echo at times.

The Devil's Dream is a dark book, this story was a different kind of dark book at least to me. This story between Dr Stavros and Kiara, has suspense a murder mystery and of course it had a dark and sexy about how these two. This book is not for everyone but If your into dark books this one is for you. I like were this story went..

Kiana💋🔥 can't sleep! She was abused by her stepfather and for some reason, as an adult it has all started to haunt her again. She has insomnia, so bad she can't concentrate and she is losing clients. She enters a sleep 😴study that will hopefully help her. The psychiatrist running the sleep study is Dr Stavros🐺🍌🌋👋, tall ,dark alpha and mysterious.
Dr. Stavros🐲🍌🌋👋 is actually a cartel drug importer/distributor of the highest order. He's at the top, making millions💰, money laundering profits with ownership of an upscale bar, among other businesses.
The sleep study is just a scheme to 💉drug and brainwash😵 participants into being pushers for him. For some reason he decides he wants Kiana💋👙 to play with instead of brainwash. She is fascinated by him but 😨afraid if him at the same time.

The Devil's Dream is exactly that! This dreamlike story introduces us to Dr. Stavros Kane. He is evil, but the charismatic man can charm the pants off any of his patients. When he has Kiana Taylor in his program though, all bets are now off. She is an not what he is expecting and is throwing him off his game. Will she find out what he is up to? When she does, will she accept it or will drastic actions need to be taken? This has some exciting scenes. The mystery and intrigue push the story along as they steal hidden moments and the results for me were surprising. For me, I am not so sure the ending would have been the same, but that is what makes the story that much more thrilling. High passion and steamy scenes, Stella Noir and Roxy Sinclaire bring us dark and delicious.
Lacy Laurel brings this all to life with a fantastic performance. Each character a different voice and she lets us feel the darkness of this story. I enjoyed her performance and look forward to more.

To be honest I don't like this book and stopped reading after the female got to know that she just have slept with somebody and the guy didn't ask her permission I mean disgusting and it is very humiliating if somebody drugs and sleeps with u and after knowing she still ask for more instead of being disqusted I just could nt read such a female character and when she confronts him about it she still wants more of him. She said she felt humiliated but I'didnt see in her actions like she really wants to sleep with him more

Smutty / OTT / Iffy Consent
Hmmm. Not sure about this one.
I kind of liked the idea of it, but some of the details weren't for me. It was dark for sure. I felt like it was pretty well written, smutty, and OTT.
Just not into the iffy consent, especially with the background, but hey if the heroine isn't mad about it. I shouldn't be either right? It's fiction.

This was an awesome dark romance novel. This was not what I thought it was going to be, but I say this in a good way. It was dark and gritty and jaw dropping at times, and I was hooked from the beginning. It has twists in here that you do not see coming but as you read more you are thrilled they do happen. Fantastic!!!
Kiana is having problems sleeping, this stems from something tragic that has happened to her in the past. The unfortunate part is she can't seem to heal completely. She doesn't have many friends, no boyfriend, she may lose her work clients if she keeps her zombie like state up (as it affects her work and editing....the very thing she needs to be doing) and a sister that she hasn't forgiven either (although she doesn't always feel such anger towards her, just most of the time) She is about to give up and then a commercial comes on and lures her interest. So what does she do....she follows the lead from the commercial. This could be the beginning of something great, right? Or is it something that is not at all where she needs to be?
Dr. Stavros Kane is conducting a "study," he is the one who has the commercial that gained Kiana's attention. She now has gained his attention. He is not sure how or why this happened. This is new to him. He is a man hiding dark things. He knows she is out of his league that way, however he is enthralled by her. He is drawn to her like a moth to the flame. He likes her, he isn't afraid of those feelings (no it is the feelings of him getting closer and feeling the bigger L word for her - although as a psychiatrist he hasn't quite put that together, just wait it's coming) Along the way of the "study" things change, he becomes possessive, but why? What is happening that tests his patience and his will power for her? What does he do with these feelings? Can he keep his darker side a secret? Does she ever find out?
This is a FANTASTIC book, like I said it is darker and grittier, but still has you wanting more. You will not want to put this book down. Just when you think things are moving forward in one direction, it takes you down a different path, one you never saw coming. Totally glad it has happened and throws more into the not wanting to put this book down.

Wow 2 hot little novellas in one the first, The Devils dream..is about a hot Psychiatrist Stavros Kane and Kiana. She suffers from Insomnia and turns to a sleep study set up by Stavros, all is definitely not as it seems when he first lays eyes on Kiana he knew his dark world of doctor and drug lord would soon be turned upside down. With drug induced sleep and sexually fantasy can Kiana find out the truth. Will she blow his cover or will she stand by him?
The second..Her godfather. After her parents are killed Rhonda is sent to live with her godfather. A man who obviously had better things than to take a 19 yr old girl into his home. Joel knew from the moment she was under his roof things would never be the same, he wanted to bring Rhonda in to his dark world of bondage. Lessons he told her she had to learn, she had no idea just what she would be learning. Rhonda had no idea what Joel ment, she would be naked and sexually abused, for who's benefit. His...hers....both. A virgin .... She's a virgin oh how much fun and pleasure Joel would have with Rhonda.....
Although both books were a little fast paced I enjoyed both and will read agin from both authors

This is Kiana and Stavros' story. It is a little twisted and dark, but not over the top. Kiana goes to Dr. Stavros Kane, a respected psychiatrist, to participate in a sleep study he is offering, in order to get her insomnia under control. Once she meets him, she finds she's attracted to him, but is wary of him. Little does she know that agreeing to participate in his study will bring her into his dark world of drugs, sex and violence. Not only that, but she will find she actually enjoys it! Beware though, there are uncomfortable subjects like rape and murder, so if those things make you leery, steer clear of this story.
I liked this book, but wish that there was a bit more buildup of their relationship and that their feelings were a bit stronger, more passionate. I didn't feel a deep connection between them, aside from their sexual attraction and somewhat dark desires. And it wasn't fleshed out as well as it could have been. But it was written well and the characters were interesting, if a little bit flat.

The Devil's Dream was an interesting and intriguing book. Not what I was expecting. Kiana an editor who has her own business and has been having difficulty sleeping when she sees an ad on TV for a sleep study. Stavros is the psychiatrist that is running the study. When he sees Kiana he has an instant attraction as does she. She is perfect for his study and he hopes to do more than study her. He is not what he seems and as the story progresses you learn more about his dark side. Will he be able to help Kiana with her sleep issues or is it just a front? She has some deeper issues that also need to be addressed. I don't want to give it away, so you will just need to read the story to find out how things work out. I enjoyed this story, hope you do as well.

Unbelievable! Greatest mystery/drama I've read in months. The hotness level was pretty high too. Simple beginning. Kiana struggles to do her home editing job while suffering from insomnia. When she begins losing clients, she seeks help from Dr. Stavros, a psychiatrist conducting a sleep study clinic. When they meet, the fuse of their attraction is lit and as the flame races towards the dynamite, the reader is strapped down for a thrilling, wild roller coaster ride. The experience will totally blow you out of the water. It will also change Kiana and Stavros completely. Exciting events, suspenseful mystery, passionate romance and surprises along the way will enthrall you. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Five Golden Stars!

This one is dark!
Kiana and Stavros are great characters. Stavros is just pure evil from the get go!
As the authors state in their teaser, some readers may find the content objectionable and I think it made me slightly uncomfortable at a few points but it's a dark romance so you get what you pay for! This isn't sweet and light! The reason it dropped a star was simply because Roxy and Stella could have (in my opinion) expanded the areas where some of the 'uncomfy' bits were, especially when Stavros and Kiana begin to change in their relationship. This however is a nice, quick, dark read. If you are already fans of the authors this is another good book by Stella and Roxy.

Kiana blames her sister for what happened to her when she is younger. Now she is plagued with insomnia and anxiety. Fearing she may lose what little income she has, she decides to become part of sleep study however, when she meets sexy Dr. Stavros Kane, sleep is the last thing on her mind. Dr. Stavros Kane has everyone fooled yes he is a psychiatrist by day but at night his darker side comes out. I would say as dark reads I have read this isn’t too intense. I did like the story and the chemistry between Stavros and Kiana is hot. I liked it!

This one is not going to be for everyone if you have trouble with story's that
have drugs in them I would give this one a miss.

Sadly, this book left me a little cold. Although dark romance is not my favorite genre, I can still appreciate a well-written, compelling story, even if it is dark (the Silent Daughter series, for example, written by Stella Noir and Linnea May or the Acquisition series by Celia Aaron.) I have to find something that makes me feel connected to at least one of the characters. I didn't find that here. I did finish it but it was just okay for me.

What a story. I was hooked from the beginning and read it right through in one sitting. Stavros Kane in dark, devilish and delicious. He's also the top psychiatrist in the country.....and the biggest drug Lord. Kate goes to him for help with her insomnia and ends up with a lot more than she bargained for. I just love reading Stella and Roxy's books. I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

I got this book in exchange for an honest review. I would give it four stars. It was a very good and quick read. A few grammar mistakes but other than that it kept me engaged and I honestly believe in the story. The character development was quick & believable. I could see a meeting of like-minded people where the dominant character brings out the dark desires of the submissive party. A good quick and dark read.

OMG!!! This story is so insanely sinful, but in a good irresistible " wrong" way. Dr. Stavros Kane, the lonely handsome Devil who has done lots bad things finally found himself a partner in crime -- Kiana, who owned a dark side secret as well. There's not one dull moment in the story, it's sexy, funny, evil, naughty, hot, and very interesting --- how can anyone not like it.

I was given an arc copy for a honest review about the book and the story line is crazy good and tge characters are dark and twisted. It was dark and some parts very disturbing but the characters were very well developed.. I have to admit it was little to dark for me.. But it I could not put it down to save my life.. So I just warning you that if you don't like dark romance do not bye. but if your into dark romance then this is definitly a must story to add to your collection..

The Devil's Dream is different than most books I have read, but in it's own way was good. Stavros is a psychiatrist and a drug kingpin, who has found a new way to have his drugs distributed. Kiana catches his eye when she comes to him with insomnia issues. Stavros takes her on a wild ride along the way. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book. The dark side of Stavros certainly comes out, but it wasn't at all what I was expecting. Kiana seems to be a little flaky. Not sure if it's from the insomnia with her past added to it, or if she just came across like that. Will Dr Kane be able to secure a relationship with Kiana? Or will Marcus give him a run for his money?

This is definitely DARK! The couples relationship with one another, toward the end, reflects a little romance but the dark definitely outweighs even that. I still think its well written but admit this isn't a genre I would even usually read. The rich, elusive, playboy doctor falls for his sleep patient but will his evil ways turn her off?

This started off intriguing but then somewhere around the 40% mark, I lost interest. After some of the things that Kiana figured out what Stavros was really about and the things he has done, she just accepted it all too easily and before you know it, she's his dark queen. It just didn't work for me.

This book was dark and twisted. Which I love. Stavros is very twisted. He's a bad guy that happens to be sexy as hell. Kiana is troubled and shut down emotionally, but she is hiding a very dark side to her personality. I really liked this book! If you like to read dark and twisted book's then I totally recommend this one. A must read. Can't wait to read more.

I want to say from the start that this is a dark read with rape and murder in it. With that out of the way I can say that this story was different then any kind of dark read I have put my eyes on and I'm not saying that in a bad way. I can see me likeing some of the things that the doctor dragged Kiara into.

I enjoyed this dark story about a mysterious doctor/ drug lord and the lady he is consumed about. I enjoyed the devil like ways of Stravros and the sweet and innocent Kiana. Together they created quite a steamy story!

Kiana's life is a mess, her insomnia is making her miss deadline and throwing her whole life in jeopardy. Dr. Kane is looking for people for a sleep study. He instantly wants Kiana and is willing to do anything to have her.

This was a well written book with a dark subject. The story was imaginative and had great characters. That said this is not my kind of story but I did read it and found it well done. I received this book free in exchange for an honest review.
