Besides the births of my two children, my husband’s successful transplant is one of the most memorable moments of my crazy life! After dealing with two bouts of cancer, my husband served as an inspiration to me and my children. I’m privileged to be married and go on this crazy ride, we call life, with a man who doesn’t know the meaning of giving up.

What can I say except Gigi Aceves has done it again!!! This was such an emotional and gut wrenching love story, but it was AMAZING. Unmistakable is Book 2 in her Able Series (Book 1 is Unbreakable) but these can be read as standalones but I wouldn't recommend that. To me this book was really a continuation of Book 1 but focusing on another couple's love story. The suspenseful/action part of the story was the continuation of book 1, but she focused on how Roxy and Cody handle things when things get REALLY tough!!!! This is definitely a series you will want to read in order, to best understand the characters and the story behind them. I absolutely LOVE Gigi's writing style. Her stories flow effortlessly and they suck you in and don't let go until the very last page…even then she leaves you wanting more!!! She has the ability to create characters that you can't help but fall in love with and hurt when they hurt. She can pull every emotion a person has out in her stories. What I love the most is that she can have me laughing one minute and then crying my eyes out in the very next page. I will say that Unmistakable is really different then Unbreakable, but I love that. We see all to often with books in a series, that they all start sounding the same after awhile, well I can say her books don't do that. You can never guess what direction she will take her characters. I will say that Unmistakable will have your emotions all over the place and you will definitely want to throw your kindle at the wall a couple times because of Cody and Roxy. Those two were each others worst enemy. These two will definitely frustrate you, but just know there is an underlying meaning behind all their troubles and I have to say this book will make you question yourself and what you would do if you were in their position.
As with book 1…I truly believe that the cast of characters in this book really make the story. We met Roxy and Cody in Unbreakable and I fell in love with their characters in that book. This book on the other hand really tested my patience and love for these characters. I am happy to say that my faith was restored in these two by the end of the book. Gigi didn't make it an easy road for Roxy and Cody. They both had serious issues to overcome. I truly questioned on more then one occasion whether or not they were strong enough to make it through the storm. If you want to know how things work out for them, you will need to read this story. I still love that we got characters that you just felt like you were a part of their group. They are that likable and relatable. The bond these characters have with each other is amazing. They are each others support system and never let anyone fall. I also love that she sets up the next book in her epilogues….it gives us something to look forward to.
I could truly go on and on about this book and these characters, but I truly believe everyone should experience them on their own. Pick this book up….You won't be sorry!!!! But make sure you keep tissues handy, you will need them ;)

This book is just full of action , suspense and drama. Right from the start I was in tears , first from Roxy's story of her past and then with Cody's struggle. From there we go back a little bit and recount the events that led us up to Cody's struggle. What a wild and crazy ride. At times I was overwhelmed not knowing what was going on and why. But as it all wrapped up in the end it was a vicious circle but we got to that happy end for Roxy and Cody. Now maybe we will get some Tami and Brian ?? Taking it even further with the little bonus chapter !! OMG loved that !!

Roxy is in danger , serious danger. This is also putting her close friends and family in danger. As a group they stick together to protect and survive. Brian , Jake , Cody , Damian and Gunny are going crazy with their protection and they won't stop until the threat is gone. Roxy and Cody are super hot and I enjoyed reading their story BUT it quickly turns to hell because Roxy cannot trust Cody. They both have horrible pasts to deal with but in the here and now Cody is 100% there for Roxy , doing what he can to protect her , trusting her and loving her. Sadly he is not getting the same back. This causes some massive tension in the book and Roxy's defiance ultimately leads to the most devastating chain of events in this story. It was an edge of your seat , bite your nails kind of read for me !! Roxy faces some major surprises in connection with her family and it is heartbreaking more than once reading about her going through those events. Roxy did drive me crazy A LOT , I wish she would just sit down and listen to someone for once !! As much as I loved Cody I was super shocked with his behavior towards the end , wow cold as ice. It was crazy to see this fun loving genuine guy go from being so full of love to being so cold. The story is so full of surprises and possible issues that I cannot really review it spoiler free !! So I will be vague above and leave with this....

This is Roxy and Cody’s story but the whole gang is right there with them in this emotional book.
Roxy’s childhood has caused her to hold her love and trust very close to her heart and she doesn’t share it with just anyone. She loves with all her heart but it is difficult to for her to let people in as she is sure that they will end up leaving her just like her mom did or hurting her the way her dad did. If she can’t keep the unconditional love of a parent how can she keep the love of a man?
Cody the ex-marine is a fierce protector of those he holds close to his heart. To surviving as a marine means taking control of the situation and having complete and total trust in people who surround you. He lost that control once in his life causing the loss of two very important people, his parents.
As Roxy and Cody discover their love for one another they struggle with their trust and control issues. Roxy is determined to do things her way and take care of the people she loves when danger is evident. She is willing to give her life for the safety of everyone else. Cody is determined to keep her safe, his life for hers. When communication and secrets take over in trying to protect each other trust is lost and love is hurt.
With everyone safe and the dangers gone, can they rebuild their love and trust or will they both live in misery instead? Gigi sucks you in and grabs a hold of your emotions. Anger, sadness, concern, happiness and love.

AMAZING STORY , A MUST READ
I so love this Author and her books. We meet the gang again, but this is Roxy & Cody's story. Proxy has a different childhood. Her Mom leaves her as a little girl with not excuse. Her Dad is a politician and the new Lady of the House doesn't want Roxy there she wants dad to get rid of her. With the mess he is mixed up with he has no choice and sends her away to her Uncle. Rocky's world comes crumbling down around her when he Daddy that was her world is no more. Proxy learns at a young age that Love and Trust was hard to give. Cody is like family, he is BEst Friends with Jake which is Roxy's cousin, and the whole gang become a family unit with strong bonds. When Roxy and Cody give into their attraction their connection is strong but the one thing missing is Roxy's trust. When the Hell from Roxy's pass comes front a center it's this Turst that pulls them apart and Cody and Roxy find that their past has crossed but not in a good way, it comes in the form of tragedy. Their Love is tested but when Cody finds out Roxy's dad is associated with the ones that took his parents away, he is pushed to the brain's . He lives his life by the Love, Protect and Trust Moto. But Roxy took that away when trouble comes knocking. Can he forgive her, with her holding back things and not trusting him with helping. Can he forgive her and have his One True Love ( Roxy ). With their Faith in God, they can overcome anything. This Author can suck you in and you feel everything their joy, love, the Bond and yes the anger and betrayal. But to me this is what makes a wonderful book. A job well done by Gigi Aceves -Author. I 100% RECOMMEND this book.

* What a FANTASTIC READ! Gigi out did herself with this book. What a magnificent sequel to Unbreakable. There were some mind-blowing twists and turns that I was not expecting. There were also quite a few momentous and heart-breaking scenes that felt so real. I laughed and I cried. I even wanted to smack Roxy and Cody around a few times. This book was so well written that I could easily picture everything happening right in front of me. The words in this novel were flowing smoothly. It was fast paced in all the right places. It was There were times were it felt like I was apart of the story. I loved that the secondary characters are just as important in this book as the primary characters are.

Cody and Roxy are crossover characters in the first novel in this series, Unbreakable. Their relationship, is a casual fling. Roxy doesn't want it any other way- this is due to things that occurred in her childhood. She can't seem to give her full trust to anyone. Her father and mother are real pieces of work-so one can see where she gets her trusts issued from!
Cody is trying his hardest to get Roxy to place her trust and love in him. Just when you think he is making some headway-Her past comes back to haunt her again.
The story actually begins by events in the past, so we see a glimpse into the crappy childhood that Roxy had. But then it switches to present day, and we know that Cody is also hurt badly. I felt so bad for him- not knowing what was going to happen to him, or to Roxy.
Then we go back three months before and we find out what exactly happens to Cody. And its heartbreaking! I don't want to give too much away, as it has to deal with a majority of the plot and I hate spoilers!!
I was intrigued by this story, because I never knew which direction I was being pulled in. I was all over the place!! Cody and Roxy loved the fight more than they loved to love each other at some points. But it's hard to see where they are coming from without being in their actual shoes. They both had very real and serious issues to overcome. More than once I doubted they would be strong enough to handle them. The ending is a nice full circle for this couple, things rarely came easy for either one of them.

Every woman needs a Cody in her life. A man that will love, protect, and put his life on the line for her. True love and devotion, trust, faith and understanding are the recipe for a strong relationship.
Roxy and Cody take us on a crazy ride in this book. Their relationship will be tested in ways no relationship should. These two love each other and honestly, complete each other. The passion, love and understanding their relationship generates is powerful. Sadly, not everything can be perfect in the land of love.
The sacrifices they make for each other will make you think. How much would you give up for the one you love? How far would you go to keep them safe and whole? It is a powerful story,this is not your typical love story, of lust and love. If you have read Gigi Aceves, you know the symbolism to faith that comes with her stories. This story will not disappoint. Not only will you fall in love with the main characters but with the gang as well. The humor that is in this book is one of a kind. I laughed, cried and got chills.

SO she goes to live with her uncle and is finally showed the love that she deserves from someone who would love her like a daughter.

Wow! Thank you Gigi for my copy, I really didn't expect this, Roxy and Cody are the jokey fun people so to see them from a different perspective was not one that I expected. In Unbreakable they were the naughty fun couple but in Unmistakable totally the opposite although bits of that side was with them at times. I absolutely adored Cody in Unbreakable and I'm completely besotted now that I have seen the "responsible serious" heart warming caring side of him. Roxy how could you do that to Cody!!!! Roxy and Cody fell in love in Unbreakable and Unmistakable is their story and they take us on a rollercoaster of ride. They adore each other and are so passionate but unfortunately this passion is tested when they both make a decision to not be totally open and honest with each other and the sacrifices they make tests their relationship to the limit and my emotions too. Both of Gigi's books in the Able series are so well written and definitely worth a read and a 5+ star rating. Can't wait for Tami and Brian's story crazy cat lady.

I received this for an honest review and I have to say that while I absolutely LOVED this book I felt like I was missing something. I read this as a standalone and although I read it that way. After I finished this I read the first one in the series and felt like that was what I was missing was the first book. I do say that you can read this as a standalone but I feel as though it is a much better book read within the series. You get a much better understanding. This is Roxy and Cody's story but you also get a taste of all the other characters in the first story.

This is another series where I didn't read in order. After reading this fantastic story I'll be re-reading it once I read book one.
This story is based on Roxy and Cody. We also get to read about the other wonderful characters. Roxy has been hurt in the past. When her life is put in danger Cody the hot ex-marine and alpha male will do anything to protect her. This is an action packed story. It's a story that will pull on all your emotions. This is the kinda book that will have you laughing one minute and welling up with tears the next minute.
Cody and Roxys journey is a must read. I highly recommend this story.

I loved this book. I wanted to throw my kindle at times. I am glad I finished the story. This is Cody and Roxy's nutty relationship story. Learning to love trust and communicate. Full of humor. love, struggles, faith and trust. With tears of love and frustration. I think you should read her first book first then the second. you don't want to miss a moment.

What a fabulous story!! A Sexy alpha Mariane, and a damsel in distress in need of his protection….yes please!!! This book had it all, and amazing story line, suspense, love and lust, deep characters, and i could connect easily with the characters and the story. This is one every romance lover should read!! Very enjoyable novel by Gigi Aceves. Can’t wait to read more!!

I absolutely love this book. Cody and Roxys story was emotional and had me wondering at the beginning. I can't not wait till the next book comes out. I love the way Gigi writes about these characters. Definitely a must read. Eagerly awaiting the next one.

Loved this book! So many emotions when reading it which in my opinion makes a great book! I was mad, I cried, I laughed which at times I was laughing so hard I had tears!

Control and trust with love as the reward…
I LOVED this second installment in the Able series! Roxy Oliver and Cody Davis were strong secondary characters in the first book of the series and this is their story. The book changes point of view between the two as the story jumps a bit from past to present to unfold this fast-paced, edge of your seat story. Knowing she is loved does not diminish Roxy’s feelings of loss and betrayal she had suffered during her childhood. She gives her heart over totally to her family, friends and her beloved Cody. In return she asks simply for truth. Cody is strong and vulnerable in his own unique way. He is an alpha through and through who embraced the military and the strong code of ethics it nurtured in him. Suffering his own losses, his need to protect those he loved was paramount. To control the situation was to have a hand in the outcome. With such strong convictions on both sides, when human frailty and judgement is in question, can the two allow their love to overcome conflict?
From the beginning to end this story pulled at my heartstrings as the emotional roller coaster stayed on high speed throughout. I wanted to hug Roxy and Cody so many times as they each faced threats to their own lives as well as their loved ones. Family and friends I fell in love with in the first book are back; they are as supportive, stubborn and loving as ever with Trish and Jake being the best wingmen anyone could have. The personalities and characters are drawn so vividly you feel the emotions as if they were your own. This tight-knit crew of friends and family support Roxy and Cody through every fight and challenge. And they need them all as they both face life-threatening situations that affect their relationships as well as their lives.
Fast-paced, this book had me devouring the pages as fast as I could consume them. Edge of the seat tension in more ways than one with an ending that was satisfying if a bit abrupt in comparison to the steady pace of the story. Another great read which has me searching for the next in the series!

we have another awesome book. I fell in love with Roxy and Cody in unbreakable the banter between the two is awesome and that continues in this book. Roxy's upbringing hasn't been pleasant. Her mother thought she was doing right by her and left her with her father, her father is a politician and with everything on the line wicked stepmother talks him in to sending Roxy away, Roxy goes to live with her uncle. Roxy life has crumbled she's lost her family, Roxy decides that if this what love and trust is like she don't want and won't do it, but she's hasn't been tested by Cody. Cody his Jake's , Roxy cousin, best friend and has become part of the family. Roxy and Cody at first just flirt and bicker back and forth it's cute, it's fun. But them wham it was like Cody got a taste and that's it. They feel the attraction but Roxy is afraid to trust and Cody wants that part of Roxy, but how can he get her to let that wall down. Just when things start going good the past shows up, secrets are revealed and hearts are broken , but can Cody and Roxy be whst each other need. HOLY GRAP I just loved this book. Cody and Roxy have been together for a while when danger comes after Roxy. Roxy's childhood caused her to have trust issues. She only trusted four people. Cody was a marine sniper. Because Cody was serving his country, he was not in control when his parents needed him the most. Cody earns Roxy's trust, but is it enough for Roxy to give Cody the control to he needs. When things get rough, will Roxy trust Cody enough to control the situation or will she take the control and only trust herself to protect the ones she loves. Cody always tells Roxy, "My life for yours." When all seems to be lost, will forgiveness prevail.
Unmistakable is the second book in the Able series. While it is different from the first book (Unbreakable), the reader will still find humor, romance, love, faith, and bonds of family and friends. This group does not disappoint. Looking forward to Tami and Brian's story.
