Latina BBW Angelina had so much fun with her ménage-a-one-night-stand that she's out looking for three men this time, and she gets a beautiful black man, an adorable Italian, and a secretive Polish man. Aidy Award is a curvy girl who kind of has a thing for stormtroopers. She’s also the author of the popular Curvy Love series and the Dragons Love Curves series. She writes curvy girl erotic romance, about real love, and dirty fun, with happy ever afters because every woman deserves great sex and even better romance, no matter her size, shape, or what the scale says.
This book picks up right where Rebound ends. And I have to say, I actually enjoyed this one more than the first book. Perhaps because I’ve come to know these characters better? Definitely.
With a wounded heart, Angelina heads to Texas to train as a Dominatrix. It doesn’t take her long to realize that it was her own stubbornness and poor choices that cost her Gray. When her anon-dom begins her training, she is not happy to be informed that her most important lesson will be learning to submit. She lost Gray over this same issue and now in order to move forward she will kneel before a man that is not him.
While this still has a ton of sexy scenes and intense heat, it also begins to delve deeper into Angel’s emotions. She comes face to face with what her life once was and what she does not want her future to be. I always love watching a character grow and I especially loved watching Angelina. I think there is still a part of me that wonders exactly what the end result of her growth will look like, but just witnessing the beginning of her transformation made me care for her more than I already had.
Angelina definitely struggles against her trainer. She is drawn to him but feels conflicted due to email messages that Gray sends her regularly. Soon, the power struggle between her and her dom reaches a point where in the end Angel is ready to completely submit. Even as she takes the steps to do so, her dom releases her leaving her more confused than ever.
What follows has some tremendous ups and downs as Gray and Angel battle the baggage they each bring with them.
This beautiful confident man who’d only ever been the powerful dominant man in my life was crumbling in front of my eyes.
Nevertheless, their reunion is definitely a scorching one as the tables between them are flipped. But there were also so many beautiful moments and heartfelt words that I swooned.
”This is my favorite curve you have. When you smile, my love, it lights up not just a room, but my whole god-damned world.”
To him I was a person, one worthy of love. He loved me, and more than any other therapy, self-help book, affirmation, or persona I put on, that knowledge helped me love myself too. If I was worthy of his love, I must be worthy of my own.
Yeah, this book will flip you upside down and sideways if you open yourself up to the lifestyle it showcases.
“You saw me throw myself into this dark and kinky world with all I had. Did that make you think less of me?” He looked surprised. “No. It made you even more sexy, made me want you more.”
There is even more drama when Angel is pulled into a duel of sorts and it’s no longer her future alone on the line.
This has a pretty fast pace and not only the main characters gain more development but some of the secondary ones as well. There was one instance of a double standard that glared out at me and almost made me want to chuck my Kindle. And I have to admit, I was mad because this hero never cheated on her. You’ll never hear me say that again. I hope.
Overall, I really enjoyed this one and I was screaming at the cliffhanger even though I have the next book qued up and ready. I think it’s safe to say this author has created a story that is making me overlook everything I’ve always said I didn’t like.

3.5 The writing is getting better but I still don’t feel the connection between Angel and Gray. I want to feel how much he cares for her and the same from her. I hope the next book lays everything out so we can see and feel everything they do.
Rebound, book 1, was amazing and book 2 did not disappoint. Rebellion takes a different turn to the series that brought out many different emotions. I feel it went deeper than the first and gives you more of a glimpse into the club world of BDSM. Angelina did get on my nerves a little with how she just HAD to be defiant and bratty, but I feel the book would have been completely different if Angelina acted differently.
The narration was amazing as it always is with Lacy. I love all of her emotion that she puts into every character she voices.
This is Rebellion, book 2 of the Curvy Seduction Saga, written by Aidy Award. Ms Award writes stories for the insecure girls in all of us. Whether it’s caused by size, shape, color or other reasons, we all have some insecurities. We should learn to be nicer to ourselves and stop being our worst critic. Okay, let’s move my soap box....we are back with Angelia as she tries to learn the inside ropes of a D s relationship. She has to push past her fears and embrace her inner goddess. It’s beautiful to watch and it’s a hot hot journey! I’m ready for book number 3 now!!
Angelina has had so much fun with her men that she wants to have a Harem and in turn she will help with college for them. Gray really starts to show his dominate side and he thinks Angel is crazy for this idea. She doesn’t just want these guys for one night.
Gray finally takes Angel to the club. The sexual tension is at an all-time high. He smolders in the background as she is with her men but he is all in control and will she like that when she finds out what is really going on?
The story gets better and better with each story. Will be reading more.
Rebellion by Aidy Award is book two in the Curvy Seduction Saga that I listened to on audio narrated by Lacy Laurel. All I can say is wow! Aidy brought even more steamy sex scenes to this book. I couldn’t turn it off until I finished it. Once again Lacy did an amazing job narrating and using different tones for each character. I cannot wait to dive into book three Reignite today. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes BDSM Romance books.
Do NOT read this review if you haven't read part #1 (Rebound)
For adults only (18+ years) Contains subject matter that could be offensive to some, including: adult language throughout, steamy detailed BDSM intimate scenes (D/s, spanking, menage, denials, leashes, etc.). If any of these situations are offensive to you, then this may not be the story or series for you.
This story begins where Rebound, part #1, stopped ... So please do NOT read this review if you have not read part #1, as it may contain spoilers.
Last chance ... :)
I loved the second part more than the first part, but only because the characters are more familiar and the overall arc to get them to their HEA is coming along. I was afraid that Angelina was too spoiled and impulsive as a character to grow up and be redeemed for some of her actions. I won't go into details as to the main concern I still have, since I don't want to provide any twists of the story line.
Here is how the story begins:
At the end of the first part Angelina has plans to go out. So part 2 begins with her arrival at The Asylum BDSM club. Dominic is along as her bodyguard since Gray would not accompany her, even when she asked. What she didn't know was that Dominic had received some instructions from Gray before they left, or that she would break all but one of them ...
Angelina is approached by Jim, her temp bodyguard while Gray was on 'vacation', then Foster tried to surprise her and continue the info session she had initiated previously. Even as angry, frustrated and cranky she was from the orgasm denial Gray was trying to use to begin her training, she wasn't tempted to take Foster up on his offer.
She had hoped to be able to get the number for the Domme she had met there before, or at least another one that would be open for questions and possibly training her. What she found instead was a BDSM club owner from Texas, Tate, that was open to just about anything. He was there to get help from Foster to help with recruitment and some of his submissives to attractions at the club. A wild idea popped into Angelina's head ... what if she went to Texas to explore this opportunity? She could be one of the attractions and learn the business side of running a club at the same time.
Then she realized that someone had ratted her out to Gray and he had arrived. Uh oh ...
I have to say I am really looking forward to the rest of this series!!
Rebellion is the second book in The Curvy Seduction Saga and should be read following Rebound.
I chose this book because I loved Angelina and Grayson's story. Yes, the book is a reverse harem. Yes, it's erotica. But it is also a love story between a woman who is tired of being controlled and dominated, and a man who is afraid of losing the woman he no longer needs to protect.
Angelina is ready to take her control back and become a Dominatrix instead of a submissive. The man she loved kept refusing her because he wasn't ready so she is moving on to a dark sex club called The Asylum run by a sadistic Dom who wants Angelina for his own. It's there she meets a Texan who gives her a proposition for her to train as a Domme in his club. She packs up her things along with two of her submissives and heads to Texas. Working with her new mysterious trainer who wears a mask, she is pulled in by his gritty voice and confident instruction, but she cannot forget the man she loved and who walked out on her.
Angelina and Grayson finally seal the deal after much frustration in the first book, and it's by Angelina's rules. Angelina is much stronger and more confident now as she explores her Domme side. She definitely shows what she learns in the last public display and it's hot, hot, hot! Her idea to start a new club is ambitious and with Cade's help, it might just work. Angelina does grow up and realizes that it's her own stubbornness and bad choices that pushed Gray away. Gray finally opens up to Angelina as he follows her to Texas and proves his loyalty to her when he gives up his control. Not entirely, but just enough to make it interesting. It's a reunion worth waiting for.
We meet Angelina's harem again in this book. Cade is moving on and Dominic and Ilario follow Angelina to Texas. In addition, Hawk (an early encounter in Angelina's introduction to BDSM) is part of an eye-opening duel that involves simultaneous orgasms. The villain of the story is Foster Bennett who is out to get Grayson and Angelina and doesn't take losing well. I can't wait to read about his ominous history with Grayson which appears to be in the third and final book in the series.
If you enjoy sensual erotica with an actual love story between two stubborn and charismatic protagonists, give this book a try.
Rebellion is a different vibe than Rebound. Rebellion takes us along for Angelina's ride to learn to be a Domme. Angelina wants Gray to train her but she doesn't really want to listen to him and she pushes his buttons at every turn. When she makes a deal with a club owner in TX to come train there and help him out Grayson is not happy. He refuses to go with her and won't even speak with her. Angelina takes her harem and heads south. Tate the club owner sets her up with an anonymous dom for her training. She must follow his rules in order to learn.
Rebellion isn't as light as Rebound as Angelina is in a different place in her life. This isn't about revenge on the ex, its about finding herself and becoming the strong, powerful woman she knows is hiding inside. I love the harem or her puppies as Gray calls them. Those young men give her so much more than she expected. Rebellion is just as hot as Rebound but maybe with a little more slow burn instead of instant combustion. Love Aidy's writing style. She has created fun characters and I can't wait for Reignite. I wouldn't mind a spin off for the puppies either. From one curvy girl to another grab this series you won't be sorry.
Aidy Award gives us the next chapter in Angelina and Gray's story with steam, passion and little bit of competitive fun! When we left book one, Gray and Angelina were separated, and though they both want to be together, Angelina takes this time to find herself, get trained and enjoy who she is becoming. With a mysterious dom to train her, sir gives her the tools she needs to become a dominatrix. But she knows the only man for her is Gray. Gray is such a great character, he tantalizes her from the background with little drops of himself, but when they do meet up, the chemistry and passion are explosive. What I find the best about these books is the underlying message Aidy Award brings to the table. Curves are good, and we should be comfortable in our own skin. It's the best message to get out there and makes us know we all don't have to be size 2 to be happy. The ending of this one leaves us again, wanting more and see where Angelina and Gray end up on their way to happily ever after.
Lacy Laurel can bring a book to life, but her ability to voice a passionate, sexy book is bar none. I can literally feel the heat and passion as she narrates. She has a knack for male voicing and I love her emotional draw that pulls you into the story. I am looking forward to Reignite!
Rebellion picks up right where Rebound leaves off. Angelina and Gray are such great characters; I really like Angelina because she is a strong female who is determined and isn't afraid to go for what she wants, however, she does come off as a little bratty sometimes. I love Gray as a character because he is such a mysterious and protective alpha male. For the most part, I wasn't really expecting Aidy to take the book in the direction it went, but I thought it was a unique and it kept me captivated from start to finish. Of course, there were some parts that were predictable, but in the best possible ways. We get some action, drama, heartache and a whole lot of toe curling heat in this book. There is room for Gray and Angelina's story to continue; however, things mostly wrapped up nicely and the cliffhanger isn't too bad.
I thoroughly enjoyed Lacy's entire performance and I really like her narration as Angelina. I feel like her voice makes Angelina seem like an even stronger and more confident female character. I also think she does an amazing job bringing out all the emotions of all the characters throughout.
The second book in the trilogy has Angelina “angel” doing things she never dreamed of, but the one guy she really wants still won’t touch her, so it’s time to move on. Gray wants angel to trust him, he senses that she’s not quite there yet. And if she submits like he really wants her to, where will that lead? We still have the back and forth, one step forward with Gray, then two steps back. Then when Angelina goes to confront Gray, she finds him gone!!! At first she’s numb, the only man she could ever talk to the only one who understood her has left her..... Then anger sets then. So she makes plans to take her “harem” to Texas, to play at a “Ranch” to learn to be a female Domme. No one will ever see her “submit” again!! The Ranch isn’t what she was expecting. It’s a huge mansion out in Texas. But she’s made a commitment, she needs training to be a dominatrix, and Tate the owner said he’s willing to help. So will Angelina get her wish? Will she become a successful Domme? And who is behind the mask? He says he wants to train her, but first she needs to submit. Will she? And we have a player with a score to settle!! Is it with Gray or Angelina? This book had me wanting to slap the pair of them.
We pick up where Angelina and Gray left off in Rebound. Angelina decides to take the bull by the horns and go to the sex club Asylum. Gray was not on board with this decision, but nothing can stop Angelina when her mind is made up. She wants to learn everything she can about becoming a Dominatrix. She is on a mission to conquer Gray and break down all his walls, Gray has said on more than one occasion that Angelina is "not ready for him". She takes that as a challenge, even though the odds of accomplishing that will probably be "when pigs fly". She meets the Club King of Asylum, Foster Bennett. He is a piece of slimy work and she picks up on the tension between him and Gray.
This is sexy and hot, but also an incredible story of overcoming mental and physical insecurities one feels about themselves. Angelina's quest is to give herself the confidence and strength she needs for herself and also for Gray who has permanent barriers built around him. She needs to show him his worth and what he means to her. This was a delight to read because Curvy Girls can be sexy and hot and deserve a true love in their life.
Curvy Women Do Dominate! I love this book. Angelina is such a great power house. Just watching how she has grown and continues to grow into herself is awesome. It is great seeing the characters interact and empower each other. I also like the way submission does not mean giving up independence but gaining the ability to trust, love and share. The fact that not only did Angelina learn how to trust but so did Grayson. The change in Grayson is just as big as the change in Angelina. The two of them make a dynamic team. Even characters, that are not the main ones, learn and grow. I like how brief encounters with a character becomes part of the story line to the point of seeing happy endings for them as well. There is a minor cliffhanger but the HEA is extremely SIZZLING HOT!! Very Adult Content. Another well written major hit for Aidy Award! I absolutely loved this story and can't wait to see what happens next for our sexy, curvy, dominatrix heroine and her super hot, handsome master.
Gray has opened up a whole new world for me. A dirty, kinky, sexy world.
He thinks he's doing what's best for me. He lets other men touch me, but he won't.
Screw that.
I want him to take charge.
If he won't...I might have to find someone who will.
Gray
Angel wants me to teach her, take her, tame her.
She thinks she knows what kink is. I'm dying to show her what submission really means.
I'll never forgive myself if I break her.
I may have to leave her to save her...from me.

So did I tell you how Hot this series is? Well it keeps getting hotter! I am so loving this series and can't wait for book 3! Aidy Award has great way of pulling you into her book and I love it! Lacy Laurel is the perfect person for this book!
This is the 2nd installment of Angelina and Gray's story. Gray has left Angelina and she has decided to take control and make a different life without him. Heartbroken and determined to get what she wants, she heads to Austin Texas to begin her training to become a Dominant. Will that lifestyle give her what she needs? Training begins with an anonymous Dominant who feels familiar but isn't . She finished training and asks for that Dominant's submission. This sets off a series of events. The Dom is Gray . Can they work it out and be together? The last few chapters are so riveting and breathtaking. You will be holding your breath and squirming in your own chair. Amazing characters, storyline and plot! Does have a cliffhanger, but you will already be addicted . You won't hesitate to buy the next book. Well done Aidy , another winner!
Rebellion continues the story from Rebound and they just get better and better. Make sure you have a cold drink to cool yourself while reading this, it is hawt!! Angelina is determined to learn to be a Domme and hoped Graywould be the one to teach her. When things moved too slowly for her, she took matters into her own hands. Having met Tate at club Asylum, she decides to take herself and her harem to Texas to the Red Ranch for her training. She gets her training and even more than she bargained for. Aidy Award is a very talented writer who gets across that we all have flaws but we shouldn't let them rule us. I HIGHLY recommend this series to one and all. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
Rebellion was a quick and hot listen! I’m not really one for dom/sub relationships but I do love a good book to take me to places I don’t normally go. And with Rebellion, this is definitely one that is outside of my norm. I do enjoy a good strong female character that knows what she wants and how to go after it. She’s eager to learn everything she can about the relationship that she is interested in pursuing. While Gray is against her methods, he eventually cannot stay away from Angelina.
The narration with Lacy Laurel was superb! She always has in incredibly sex appeal added to her voice. That was perfect for this book. It’s hot and sexy. It’s so very different while being similar to Rebound.
Another really good story by Aidy Award and performance from Lacy Laurel. This continuation of Angelina and Gray's story sucked me right back in and took me on an emotional rollarcoaster. There were moments of frustration with both characters, and then of course moments where I loved both of them. Some twists weren't exactly unexpected to me, but were so well written and unfolded so well that I didn't really care that I saw it coming. Then there were other things I didn't see coming at all. I both loved and hated the ending. I loved it because of the status of the main characters, and hated it because now I definitely need to rush and start Reignite to see what's coming next. But overall it was a really good book two in this series.
Angelina finally went to the Asylum looking for a dominatrix to train her in the lifestyle, she’s gone without Grey and when he finds out he’s going to freak. Well he did find out and he did freak and then he just left, he left Angelina’s life and she was devastated and now she’s on a plane to Austin Texas to learn how to be a dominatrix. That’s all I’m going to give you guys but there is so much more to this story I absolutely loved it and I know you will too. I can’t wait to read book 3 Aidy is an amazing author her books have strong curvy heroines and I love it. A fantastic story a 5 plus +++++ ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
I was absolutely hooked after book 1- Rebound. I loved the dynamic and chemistry that Aidy gave us. With Rebellion, we encounter a bit of a different dynamic. Same great characters but they are growing and changing in new ways. I was a little frustrated with the heroine in this one as she can be a bit bratty at times but overall, still loved the journey. Can't wait to read book 3!
Narration was fantastic. Lacy Laurel has a voice that I could listen to all day. She not only sounds great but adds so much feeling and character to the performance.
AIDY SLAMS ANOTHER ONE OVER THE FENSE!!! Wow! This is definitely one interesting tale that captivates from the start. All the twists and turns, drama, intrigue, suspense and tension takes this page turning bad boy to a whole new level. The characters and their personalities are unique with qualities and traits that balance out as they play off one another perfectly. The scenes are so graphic and detailed it really pulls this little treasure together beautifully. Aidy did an excellent job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Fantastic job Aidy, thanks for sharing this awesome read with us.
Whatever is she thinking? You have a man who wants to be with you and you choose to defy him constantly by pushing his buttons? Then when he doesn't agree with you, you take yourself off to another club to do what he said he would do in the beginning. I wanted to wring her neck. I know she's learning and she's no longer out for revenge, however, it seems she enjoys her puppies more than the man who she needs. I loved the twist with Gray though. Awesome. I can't wait to read the next one and I'm hoping for the best because Gray is the man.
When I first started this trilogy, I had a lot of misconceptions about what I'd be reading. I had a lot of negative thoughts about the main character and her behavior. That changed a lot with this book. Watching all the characters grow and evolve in this one was very refreshing. I also loved the suspense in the background.
The narrator did a fantastic job in this book as well. I enjoyed her narration and her take on the characters. I really felt the personality for every person through her narration. And of course through the author's writing. I'm glad I came across this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book. I really liked “Rebellion” by Aidy Award and I found myself saying “just one more chapter” until I reached the end. I loved the Great, Entertaining well written Storyline and catching up with the super, engaging characters. Gray & Angelina’s chemistry and interaction had me glued to their story from the first chapter, it’s an addictive, page turning book. This is an Enjoyable, Entertaining, Must Read Book
So when this book started off I disliked our Angelina. You will never know true love unless you surrender to it. This chick doesnt get it. Shes a detriment to herself and our Grayson is a mess. Hes so afraid hes going to break her he forgets it's his job to teach her to come apart and come back together. "Sir" gets it. Glad for him!! The power play and the cerebral play makes this book sizzle. Can't wait for our conclusion!
Book 2 gives us a different Angel. Even though she is stronger in this book she sure likes to push people's buttons. In the end, I loved how her brains solved it all and gave us a great ending. It was a happy ending, if you get my meaning lol The narrator again puts me right in the middle of the story and gives me the perfect voice for Gray. I love a steamy book and Rebellion sure delivered on that.
OMGoddess!! This series was HOT. The story was well written and not as predictable as you sometimes find in the romance/erotic genres. BDSM/Ménage themes throughout, so if that’s not your thing this isn’t the series for you. I rammed right through all of them, staying up much much later than I should’ve. Oh well, it was worth it. I’d definitely recommend reading this series if the themes sound like your jam.
