It's cool to see how Thrash Metal was perceived at the end of its heyday, it might have some slight mistakes, but if you take it more as an emotional account of Thrash Metal you will enjoy it. I also enjoyed the fact that the author dismisses all subsequent subgenres such as Death Metal or Black Metal as new strands of Thrash Metal, something that can be argued with recent developments in Heavy Metal as whole. I had a blast reading this book.
