Before I forget! Let me tell you why I thought all these books were so great, other than the storyline. Because they were all witch books that were NOT written in the first person!!! It’s so hard trying to find books about witches and sorcerers that aren’t written that way. If you ask me, and I know you’re not, and this is just my opinion, writing in the first person is a really lazy way to write because you don’t want to write what others are thinking or doing when they’re off on their own. It’s just I, I, I, through the entire book.

OK, done with my rant. Now to this book.

It’s really cute, with Zelda being the daughter of the Grim Reaper and Glenda trying to get Zelda and Mark together. (Oops, another ranting>) My only problem with Mark is he has RED hair. I don’t mind when it’s auburn but not RED. When I think of RED hair I think of Ronald McDonald or Pippy Longstocking or Little Orphan Annie or Carrot Top or. Not a hero in a book. So, in my own mind he had dark hair.

Anyway, Zelda didn’t date “normals” because they didn’t know about magic BUT she decided she could be friends with Mark even if he was a “normal.” But when something goes wrong, like when her father and Bedivere getting stuck in "limbo" she turned to Mark with her worries about her dad and needing his help to find him. Needless to say, it went beyond friendship so Glenda had another love-match under her belt.

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...

1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.

2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.

3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.

4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.

5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.

Very sweet

This is a sweet little paranormal romance starting the Grim Reaper's daughter and her particular difficulties in finding a mate. Of course, the Goode Witch has a solution.

Sometimes we just need to get out of our own ways and let good things happen to us.

Thankfully, Glenda played almost no roll in this book, the characters managed to sort things out for themselves.

It was ok. I loved Mark. I find the problem with this author is she writes fab books, but fails to build up emotions such as attraction. Which lets the stories down because they are enjoyable.

I loved the first one, really liked the second, but this the third was just okay. Hopefully this isn't a pattern and the fourth will suck.
I just couldn't really get into the plot of this one. I mean it sounded cool with a Grim Reaper, but it wasn't really magical or all that captivating.
Oh well. It didn't suck. It just didn't pull me in and make me not want to put it down. Which in a way sucks 'cause what reader doesn't want to be excited to read a book.

Deathly

Wasn't as humorous as Cate other novels but I still enjoyed the storytelling and the romantic out come. I felt the novel was very dry and uneventful with a slow moving plot. Fast read and likable characters. I am still a follower and don't get me wrong I still enjoyed the novel.

Cute, fun, very easy to read. No huge dramatics or sex play, but a cute storyline. I'm definitely hooked. Should have bought the series as a bundle and saved some money. Read three of the books in one day and started the 4th. Yup, a goner...thinking I should start the Vegan Vamp series next.
