This really is a good beginner's guide - with lots of explanations and guidelines. Maybe not as comprehensive as some other collections, but good as an overview without being confusing or overwhelming. The steps are easy to follow, the explanations helpful, and I think anyone who reads this guide will at least know what further questions to ask once they get involved in a project.
Took less than an hour to read but very little useful information. Provides a quick overview of project management models but not much about how to actually manage projects. Not worth the time or money.
Nice compendium of different project management methodologies summaries so that you can get to kno2 (in general) how they work. The final chapter with suggestions for project management tools is also a nice addition.
