Peter Feldmeier provides a accessible, systematic introduction to the historical and cultural principles that have governed Christian Theological tradition in every generation. He takes good care to avoid untruthful, narrative generalizations through the consideration of historical fact.

A highly accessible textbook on Christian Tradition. I was reading this on my own, not as a part of a course. I enjoyed it immensely and learned a great deal.
