She has previously published articles on Feminist Pedagogy and is a co-editor (with Mary Pharr) of 2012’s Of Bread, Blood and The Hunger Games. This book is an interesting look at some contemporary media objects (films, tv shows, and games for the most part) and how they relate to apocalypse. Some of the readings are a little thin, and some essays are maybe too short, but overall this was worth my time.
