Beth Huntley, photographer and devoted bachelorette, doesn’t believe in true love. Too much hurt and disappointment has left her hiding behind the camera. All she can see is a black and white world through the lens.

William Lorde, widower and father, was once an open and carefree man. The loss of his wife has left him wrapped up in the needs of his little girl. He can no longer see the colors of the world as he struggles each and every day.

What happens when these two similarly different people meet and help each other to step out of the world they’ve created for themselves? Will they find a love that helps them heal from the past, enjoy their present and create a beautiful future?

My love for books began at a very small age. I lived inside the many worlds the local library could provide. The characters within those pages were my companions and my support when I needed someone most.

My imagination began to soar as I grew. I began writing small poems as a teenager, but never thought much about publishing or expanding beyond put my words to paper.

After my children were born our love for a certain TV show fueled my love for writing. Using my children as inspiration, I began to write fanfiction, my children being the characters within the stories.

My passion for putting words to paper (or screen as is the norm now) has turned from passion to obsession. I've made some incredible friends through this journey and in turn, have become not only an author but a promoter and supporter for those whose imagination dreams character and worlds that I can lose myself in.

I thank my precious children, my beautiful soul-mate and my forever sister and best friend for being my constant rock and support as I continue to walk this road called life.

Beth Huntley is a photographer who stays behind the lens, never seeking the limelight that some do. Looking for a place to begin again after a stay in New York, Beth and her best friend Judith Snow return to their hometown to open a photo studio.

William Lorde is trying desperately to pick up the pieces of his shattered heart after his wife dies, leaving him to care for his young daughter, Angel. Almost by fate, William is drawn into Beth's studio and the two form a strong friendship.

Yet both are extremely attracted to each other but both have ghosts in their pasts that they are trying to overcome and heal before getting involved. Yet they face pressures from their family and friends who believe they both deserve to be happy. Will Beth allow herself to be happy or will the ghosts from her past prevent her from allowing herself to love and be loved?

This was a great book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The reader got to know so many of the characters through all the different points of view from which the book was written. It was good to see everyone's concerns regarding everything and it made you feel like you were really involved in the book.

I felt so bad for Beth and the reasons why she felt she wasn't worth loving. Her self-esteem took such a hit, no matter what her accomplishments were. Her friendship with Judith was amazing and I'm so glad that they always had each other to support. I loved the story behind Wyatt and Judith and thought some of the comments directed towards them were extremely amusing.

The families of both William and Beth were amazing and so supportive. I loved how much Beth's dad Ryan seemed to change in the book.

I can't wait to read more from this author!

This is the first book by Tracy Haden that I read. I wanted to read this because the main female character is a photographer.

I read many books in which the story was told by two characters. This is the first book I read that the story was told by four characters. I would have thought that with so many viewpoints, the story maybe difficult to follow. Instead, it fun to read about the same situation from each of the characters' perspectives.

God! This Is A Beautifully Written Book From The Point Of View From All The Main Characters Involved. It Is A Moving Story Of Second Chances And Of Healing Broken And Once Thought Irreparable Hearts.

The Main Focus Is Around Beth And William But The Other Characters Points Of View Makes For A Great Read Full Of Hinted At Sex But Not Written About In Detail. Friendships And Family. And A Spark That Once Felt Can Never Be Forgotten Or Denied.

It's Hard To Give Much Else Away For Fear Of Ruining This Beautiful Story For Others. Just Know You Won't Be Disappointed And You Will Be On The Edge Of Your Seat At The End With A Tear Or Two Thrown In. Angel Is A Great Main Character And Although Just A Baby And Small Child Through Out This Whole Book She Holds It All Together. Bonding Families And Friends Forever.

What More Can I Say Apart From This Is A Must Read For The Romantics Out There That Don't Like The Whole In Depth Sex Scenes But Also A Great Book For Those Of Us That Do!

This story was absolutely beautiful and sweet. A second change doesn’t happen often but when it does even when it hurts taking their chance at happiness. Beth and William two different people who are hiding for two different reasons. Reading this story, I was drawn in to their world which had so many dimensions. This story is told in every main character’s point of view and it just works, it’s not confusing it just works.
Beth is not looking for love and hiding behind her camera works just fine with her until William walks into her life with a simple request and adds color to her gray world. William isn’t looking for love he is just trying to take care of his baby girl and get through life after his first love was taken from him. This story will definitely pull you in and give you the feels.
Ms. Hayden gives you a love story of second chances that will make you believe in love again. Beth and William story is a story of romance, friendship, and finding happiness when you least expect it. I really enjoyed reading this story and hope to read more Ms.Hayden.

This was a very emotional and powerful story of second chances for love. William has lost the love of his life his wife. He does have one piece of his wife left in his daughter Angel. When William walks into the photo studio that Beth owns. There is a connection between the two when they meet, a beautiful relationship is started. Can Beth get past the trauma from her past to give William a chance? Can William give love another chance or will he hold on to the ghost of his wife?

When William meets Beth there seems to be an instant attraction. One that neither will let go forward. William just lost his wife a short time ago during childbirth, leaving him with a tiny baby. Beth growing up thinking love wasn't worth fighting for and once grown up has a relationship that pretty much makes her think the same thing. Beth is the photographer William has come upon and wants her to take photos of his daughter. He doesn't have a lot of money but Beth seems to sense this and puts together a package with a special price just for him. She sees something in William, she wants to get to know him better. When two people, both reluctant to move on meet. Somethings things just go in the right direction. This was a sweet story that brings two people together who really help each other heal their hearts. They learn you can go on in life and be happy again.

I love stories of personal growth and healing and this tale was all about that. Two beautiful people, inside and out, meet and there's a spark between them. However there's a tragedy they need to work through and they do it together. Oh, and there's an adorable baby involved too ... single dad status!

I enjoyed the story and going along for the ride with Beth and Will but felt the ending lacked a bit. There was so much build-up about Beth's secret and dealing with it that it ended too quickly.
The side characters were well done and a huge part of the story, as it's told in multiple point of views. But Beth and William were really amazing together. I loved their scenes and wanted more ... much more.

One thing I love more than anything while reading is the emotions. If you make me disappear into a book, live it, draws me in. And that’s exactly what Traci did with this book!!! You actually feel every emotion these characters are feeling! Traci really makes you feel like you’re in the story with these characters. Pick up Take Two today and start reading….you won’t regret it I promise you that!!!!
