First off, let me start by saying that I love books that are part of a series, what I love even more is a book that can standalone in a series. Saving Taya is just that- a book that can be read alone or by itself. My face lit up when my favorite characters from B. Benefields first book “Sophia Redeemed” were mentioned! Taya, a young, beautiful and successful businesswoman in New York, seems to have everything going for her until her heart gets broken. Hurt and ready for a change, she moves back home with her grandparents in Virginia Beach to take over the family business. Little does she know what lies ahead- love, forgiveness, change, growth, trials and tribulations. Who is the handsome police officer neighbor, Carter? Will he become the man she has been looking for all along? Could a relationship with him take her into dangerous territory? Will she and her mother be able to set aside their differences in order to come together when the family needs it most? All these questions are answered in this fabulous story. B. Benefield always seems to sneak in the plot twist at the perfect moment! I truly enjoy reading her books and Saving Taya did not disappoint! She understands what it is to be a wholesome Christian author and I look forward to her next book!
