Lora Langston was born in Indiana. She graduated from Ball State University where she was published in a student anthology while completing a double major in technical theater and architecture. Upon graduating, she briefly worked in the field of architecture, but her love for all things creative led her to children's programming. She taught dramatic play, enrichment classes, and summer camps for many years. This included a position as Manager of Museum Theater and Music at a living history museum. After creating a blog about kids' activities, she began freelance writing. And as they say, "That's all she wrote."

So cute and full of fun ideas

Circle time isn't just for preschoolers anymore. Leaders of groups of tweens, teens, and even adults will benefit from the activities in Circle Time Handbook. This is a great resource for teachers, camp counselors, or anyone looking for fun group activities or icebreakers. The author gives several suggestions for ways to make the activity more meaningful or educational, such as incorporating multiple senses or including crafts. I recommend this book for anyone working with groups of people. I can't wait to try out the activities in my early elementary Sunday school class.

Great collection of activities!

I loved all the games and activities included in this book! If you ever need to organize a summer camp or supervise recess this is a great selection to have in your back pocket. I loved seeing some games that have sort of gone by the wayside...some that I played when I was a child! Perfect for schools, church camps, summer camps, park programs, or anywhere you might have groups of kids who want to have some fun!
