It is an interesting book but I couldn't, from the instructions, make a single Flibber. You are supposed to roll newspapers up and tear them in such a way as to make a decorative ornament.

We made so many of these things when I was a child either at school or home. I don’t remember ever seeing this book though. I like the artwork.

Definitely an oldie, but goodie. This was one of my favorite books growing up and I literally spent hours making these crafts and experimenting. While the characters reflect 1960s publishing norms (all white everything), the projects are still relevant today and can easily be updated and individualized using recycled/reclaimed materials.

Lopshire's familiar style and wry commentary makes these simple yet fun crafts even more appealing! Reading through it again brought back a lot of childhood memories.
