London, some time in the 1920s. Lucy, twenty years old and for once released from her mother’s direct supervision, is awaiting a tutor to give her a violin lesson. Edward, young, eligible and reassuringly rich, knows nothing about music, but can perhaps fulfil a deeper need.
Adapted from Georges Feydeau’s 1883 play Amour et piano, this light comedy for three actors provides an undemanding diversion for modern audiences.
