HIGHLIGHTS:

1. ASK: Humbly ask for and trust in Spirit’s guidance, then experience tremendous clarity and comfort.
- You must first ask for their guidance, and then you must open yourself up to ALL possibilities.
- Guidance and signs from beyond showing up in many different ways: dreams, music, sound, objects, threads of conversation, and even inspired thoughts.
- The departed and guides will not intervene in your life until you ask them to. Set aside time each day to meet them halfway by setting attention to connect with them. Open up to receive them in any way they show up, nudge you, and speak to you.
- Spirits listen in and hear our calls for help.

2. ACKNOWLEDGE: Take a moment to acknowledge your departed loved ones, angels, and guides and recognize they have a plan for you.
- Guardian Guide: Acts primarily as your advocate and protector, guiding you gently through life, and can intervene and assist you when your life depends on it.

3. VISITS: It takes a tremendous amount of energy for spirit to cross over into a physical world.
- They simply readjust to a higher vibration frequency that isn’t visible to the human eye when they pull back their energy during reading.
- Spirit visitation is unshakable.
- The number 444 means angels and guides are with you. The number 999 means you’re showing up to do God’s work.

4. PLAN: Spirits are so often excited to reveal that each of our lives has a plan, in order, and a grand design and they have great pleasure in orchestrating synchronistic events in our lives.
- Start to notice recurring number combinations.
- PURPOSE: Our vocation feeds our passion and fills our true purpose.
- AUTO-PILOT: When we’re constantly on auto-pilot, going through the motions to do more, get more, and be more, we sometimes miss the bigger lessons we were meant to learn in our lifetime.
- If you continue to be confronted by the same difficulties and challenges, whether it’s with a person or a situation, this may be a sign that you’re sacrificing, settling, or accepting less than you’re worth.

5. ABUNDANCE:
- Experience abundance by giving abundantly — giving and extending to others your unique gifts, passions, and talents.
- When you serve others by doing what you love to do and what comes naturally and easy to you, you get paid for a job well done.
- Do more of what you love — give freely of who you are — to have more of what you want.
- Consciously think about one recognizable act of generosity you can perform every day.
- Spirits often encourage their loved ones to focus on the value of an experience rather than its financial cost.
- JOY: Success is measured in joy.
- You are worthy and deserving to live a life of abundance, spirits encourage the living to give more to receive more.
- Spirits communicate that we do our best work when we show up in loving service.

6. CONNECTED: We are all connected to something much bigger than ourselves, our communities, and even our species.
- We’re connected to the unseen force of bright, limitless love.

7. BE HERE:
- Spirit urges the living to connect to the moment, to pause, to take notice, and appreciate what they no longer experience.
- Follow your hunches.

8. RELATIONSHIPS:
- Friendship is a two-way agreement to provide love, support, and guidance.
- Turn your thoughts and energy away from unwanted relationships, and instead turn your attention towards the kind of people you want to attract in your life.
- Our more challenging relationships allow us to rise above our fears and feelings and grow stronger.

9. RETURN TO SELF:
- We each only hold the power to heal and love ourselves, to make ourselves whole and complete.
- When we choose to stay in our current relationship, it is our responsibility to do our part to stand up and show up – do your own work to love ourselves, be solid and whole on your own, to stand in the center of our own light, and encourage a partner to shine their own light.
- Instead of seeking someone to fill you, return to yourself. Reach deep down inside and find your way back to you. Reconnect with your light, with your beauty, with your spirit within.
- When you take time to fill your own energy reserves, you’ll feel less alone and you won’t feel the need to rely on other people to fill the void or lift you up.

10. TRUTH:
- Spirits advise that we’re never too young to hear the truth, or speak our own.

ACTION:
- Make it a regular practice to release the internal going through journaling or talking it out in therapy or with a trusted support system or friend.
- AFFIRMATIONS: Think healthy thoughts by repeating them as daily affirmations.
— ASK: to be “connected, protected, guided and directed” from beyond.
— “Let my day flow easily.”

I know everyone loved this book but I have to say that I am sick and tired of the victim blaming. How many times have we seen a family that totally and completely falls apart after a death? The message is “Well we all signed up for this, get over it”. When we grieve, we grieve for our own loss. There are exceptions, of course, as when a child dies. But usually our grief is about us. Why should we feel guilty for our grief? You have a right to feel your loss.

I wholeheartedly believe that my loved ones have passed on into an extremely happy place, and I am no stranger to them letting me know this, however, that does not stop me from feeling my own loss.

I'm not sure where to begin with why I liked this book so much. It literally walks you through a day in the life of a psychic medium. Rebecca's life is not much different than the regular person. Her days are busy juggling work, kids, husband, social, etc. AND the same ups and downs we all experience. Even with her intuitive abilities emotions sneak up on her too. At times it may cause her to ignore her own gut feelings about life. Still, it is her willingness to learn and heartfelt lessons shared that drew me in.

More than anything her journey is relatable. I've read her other books. This one has a more mature and open voice. A voice that is of a woman who has lived her best life, taken some interesting twists and turns along the way, rewarded with miracles, and lived to tell about it. This one will be a keeper in my library and referenced frequently.

I really liked this book. I didn't agree with everything the author said, but I agreed with much of what she said. There were only a few typos and grammar errors, but they were minor and didn't subtract from the ideas presented.

The book was organized well, with each chapter including her meditations, her communications, readings with her clients, snippets from her family life, and suggestions for the readers to use on their own problems.

I have read a number of books with similar content, but I was not bored at all while reading this book.
I don't think I have ever highlighted as much material in one book as I did in this one.

Leaves you wanting answers

The author gave numerous situations when her guides led her to give specific details about an upcoming event such as” you are going to a baby in the future” but never tells the reader if that prediction came true.
There were so many times that amazing, out of the blue: predictions or “facts” previously unknown to the client but she never gave any follow up. There is no way to know if those fantastical events actually unfolded or not. That’s a key part of this book that is missing.

I found that it was helpful to read about how to apply to daily life. Setting the intention for my day by asking guidance from God, spirit guides and passed love ones makes sense as a way to stay connected . Switches focus from trying to control events to instead being open to the opportunities put in front of you.

I've read a lot of books by psychic-mediums, but what I really like and appreciate about Rebecca Rosen is her honesty and humanity. When reading the book, I felt I was in the company of a good friend.

This was the perfect book to help me deal with so many issues, especially the death of my son. I am grateful to have read it.

The book is written as sort of a "day in the life of" format. However, you'll be better served by seeing that as just the framework and concentrating on the lessons that serve as the chapters' focus.

Two friends have attended RR’s public readings and were blown away, so I thought I’d give
one of her books a spin. Interesting info about some of her readings and her own “signs” but more of a “how to attune yourself to the spirit world around you”/self-help book, not topics I’m interested in.

I liked the stories about specific clients and how she related that back to life lessons. Also cool to hear a little about Rebecca’s life. She is an amazing medium. I have been to several of her big group readings, but the book was a little repetitive from some of her other books.

Tori Amos said something in some interview about crystal suppositories, and that (at least the vague iteration I've retained) was firmly lodged in my brain as I read this. It's not that I don't believe the author—she seems absolutely sincere. But the plane of existence she's inhabiting is so markedly different/removed from my own that I just can't relate. That, and there are so many metaphysical truisms spouted here that a person could poke about five hundred holes in while barely even trying. To say nothing of issues that go unaddressed (Are all spirits loving/benign? If not, how do you filter the pernicious ones? Why this elaborate rigmarole of embodiment and all of its earthly sorrows—the perks of having a body notwithstanding—when we as spirits could choose to just hang in an ethereal state of pure love? To learn lessons? What point and purpose does that serve in the unmarred paradise we apparently all dwell in when not lumbering about in a physical form? And so on, and so forth). To be fair, this is the only book of hers I've read, so maybe some of this is covered elsewhere. The world presented herein is a beautiful idea. Alas, for this heathen at least, that's all it is.
