Damn that was one seriously hot book. Just a sec while I change my panties.

It’s funny, I saw this book about a month ago and added it to my TBR list then I forgot about it. But every few days I would remember it, check the release date and then promptly forget about it again. Then this morning as I was setting up the release blitz for it I just had to one click it.

Ms. Hart does it again! She has written an incredible and sexy-as-hell story that is a fantasy/fairy tale, which in the past has been my least favorite type of book, and has definitely aided in changing my preferences! She has shown me that the previous fantasy/fairy tale/paranormal books that I have read and not cared for, was because they were actually less than stellar books. This is my second book from Ms. Hart like this and while reading then both, instead of thinking the end was never going to get there, I found myself not wanting the book to end. I guess what I enjoyed so much about Tainted Love was that it is a story of every little girls dreams! Growing up almost all little girls want to find the love of their lives and wants him to love them just as much. And they want to live the almighty, happily ever after! All of us women and little girls would love to have something "magical" to ensure that they all get just that! Well Ms. Hart does just that, but does it in a way that makes all of us "big girls" think that there might be a way to find our prince charming and then puts a sexy twist on it. After the female main character, Josie, drinks this love potion, she has 7 days to find her true love and consummate their relationship! So prepare yourself for some steamy, hot reading!

This was the first book i've had the chance read by Ms Hart, and i absolutely loved it! It was brilliant and you can't help but fall for the main characters, who are literally perfect for each other!!!
Josie and her best friend Reagan are at a 'fair' when they come across a psychic. Reagan buys a 'love potion' from her, when she gets Josie to drink some... Josie's life changes forever!!!
Lawson owns the garage where Josie takes her car after the 'accident'... When he sets his eyes on her, his life also changes forever!!!
It was a brilliant little story that i couldn't put down once i started. The attraction these two have is off the charts scourching but the humour is brilliant and will have you laughing at their banter. I for one am now a fan of Lane and i intend to find out what book she has planned next, and i can't wait!!!

Josie winds up with a love potion and has 7 days to find her true love. After throwing up on the side of the road and her car door being taken off puts her on the path to her future. Lawson Andrews owns a car repair shop, has a girlfriend who ignores him so when Josie shows up about her car he is struck by how attracted he is to her. When his personal life goes to crap Josie is the one he turns to. When he finds she loves South Park, drinks his kind if beer and loves 3 meat pizza he doesn't see anyone else. Another great read from Lane Hart! I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this book, it was short and sweet and very funny. Josie is a paralegal that has had her heart broken by a no good cheater, Lawson is a filthy talking mechanic, when they meet he is struck dumb and even forgets he has a girlfriend, he also forgets her name! There is a physic, a love potion, a cheating girlfriend a cheating ex fiancé some hilarious drama and so much more! Wish I could give it more than five stars! Lane Hart is a great author!

This was a fast yet heart warming read that I enjoyed from start to finish. Josie and Lawson had chemistry that was off the charts in a story that moved so quickly that I was sorry that it ended when it did because I wanted more. I hope there is more to come from this series!

Lane Hart has done it again. This is a quick easy read that is super sexy. I completely and totally recommend reading this book.

Lane Hart has produced yet another 5 star book!! I'm totally hooked on her writing, and Lovestruck Tainted Love did not disappoint

Josie is a young paralegal working at a local Law Firm. She and her best friend Reagan happened to go to a Medieval Festival where they meet a psychic who offers to read their palm and tell their future.
Reagan, the friend, gets this normal mumbo jumbo but Josie is told that she will meet the love of her life in 9 years unless she drinks a very special potion right then and there which will enable her to find him in only seven days. The catch is that someone else has to drink from the potion on the 7th Day and pass it on after 7 days as well, kind of like a liquid chain letter.
After Josie drinks it, she gets sick to her stomach has to pull over and throws up, but while she's throwing up someone hits door of her car ripping it off. So the next day she stops at the local car repair shop known as Andrews. She leaves all of her information with the keys. After few days she calls his check on the car and is told that it's not ready yet. Frustrated she decides she's going to stop over after work and speak to the manager.
When she arrives the shop the lights are out but the door is open and she hears music. Going in to the shop Josie spies the sexiest man alive. He's in a pair of coveralls push down around his waist and no shirt. Lawson has been working on a car air conditioner when Josie walks in. Totally Blown Away how beautiful she is he admits he has a girlfriend but he can't remember her name. Since your car is not fixed he offers to take her home.
He's still thinking of her when he walks into his own Apartment that he shares with Katrina, later that night only to be shocked at finding her in bed with his one of his own employees. After punching Todd, and telling Katrina to get out Lawson is at loose ends and has to find somewhere else to spend the evening. He ends up on Josie's doorstep without even thinking. There's a current of enormous chemistry between the two and the sparks starts to fly sending them toward a sizzling HEA!

Fun, fast paced, sexy story!

Good characters with great chemistry and a lot of steam. The story is funny and it is a quick and easy read.
The story line was good and the characters were well defined which kept me totally hooked until the very last page! I enjoyed this book so much that I read it in one sitting! This book was short but it was for sure steamy. I couldn’t put it down.
Such a fun couple! Josie and her best friend Reagan are in a slump (when it comes to their love life) and went to a festival where they come upon a fortune teller. The fortune teller tells Josie that she won't find her true love until she's 35 unless she drinks a "magic love potion". Then she meets Lawson Andrews, a sexy auto mechanic and Thor look-a-like!
At first, I was a bit skeptical if I would be able to get into the story. But after the hilarious scene where Josie threw up, my interest really picked up. I can't wait to read the next book in this series!

Tainted Love is the first in the Lovestruck series and kicks us off with two great characters, Josie and Lawson. Josie’s not looking for love after her last disastrous relationship and is a total sceptic of the love potion’s capability to find your true love in seven days. Her best friend is convinced the potion will work and Josie finally relents to drinking the potion. Lawson is in a relationship but his late night shifts at the auto shop only emphasize their lack of connection. Although Josie’s preference in men runs along the suit and tie kind of guy, Lawson does have this whole Thor and his mighty hammer thing going on. Can you really find true love in seven days? You only need to read this delicious book to find out.

This is Book 1 of the Lovestruck Series by this author. It is a sweet, sexy romance between Josie and Lawson. There is undeniable attraction between these two. The author wrote Josie and Lawson within a fairytale-esque love story to catch the reader's attention with lots of flirty banter and sexually charged moments between them. I liked their interaction and the way they tried to keep their attraction under control but failing miserably. They needed to do some soul-searching and emotional growth to realize that they are perfect together. These likable characters and the unconventional plot make for a delightful read. There is also an interesting cast of supporting characters that makes the story engaging. It is a solid read all around with heart, heat and a bit of fate to orchestrate a wonderful HEA.

At first I was not sure that I would enjoy a book based on the premise of a Love Portion but I was happily and surprisingly very pleased with how this book turned out. You never know when or how you will meet the one and this book was a cute and surprising twist on the love at first site theme. Lawson is a hot mechanic who ends up working on the classic car of Josie a very polished woman who works as an assistant for a prominent lawyer. This starts out with you wondering whether a blue collar man who works by getting his hands dirty could ever be with a woman who wears high end clothes with very high heels to work every day. This book shows that what is visible on the surface may not always be what is truly on the inside. I loved this book and can't wait to read more in the Lovestruck series to find out who is next for their HEA.

Tainted Love by Lane Hart a book that will taint your eyes. I promise this book will make you cry, but it will also warm your heart and make you so hot. You will need to check if you have a temperature. I adore Lane Hart and she is one of those authors who makes you feel more than you imagine possible. Josie Carter will make you laugh and cry, she has had a time not many would want and has a love that will make you get on google and see just why she has a certain love affair with a classic. But when all is said and done, she takes a risk, but would you be able to do the same? One sip? One chuck? One door? Would you allow it to change your life? Would you be brave enough to have one slip? Lane Hart of you ever stop writing I will hunt you down Misery style!!! (I mean that in the nicest way)((honest))

Josie, in a freak accident, loses the door to her car....like the door just get ripped off the car. She takes it to the shop to get fixed and that is where she meets Lawson. "The One". It does at some points seem like the universe is against them "sealing the deal" but they made it happen! And then Josie makes her friend drink the potion too.... leading to another story????
Josie and Lawson are a seriously hot couple! I like the story baseline and I would totally read the next one to see how the love potion continues to work its magic!

I loved this book! Book one of Lovestruck Series can be read as standalone, no cliffhanger. Short, sweet, sexy told in dual POV with HEA. Little bit of love potion magic (but not paranormal) more like carnival fortune teller kind. Josie's heart was broken a few years ago when her fiance cheated. Lawson is the local mechanic who also has a cheating ex. Neither can believe the other can be interested in them, but they have some smoking hot chemistry. Josie is very insecure but that doesn't scare Lawson who understands where it is coming from. Once they fell they were all in!! ARC review.

I really enjoyed Lawson and Josie’s story. It was sweet and the plot line was cute and different. When I first started reading it and saw that a “love potion” was involved I thought, on no. It turned out to be a great catalyst in the story. Lawson is such a sweet and understanding guy, which is a nice change of pace. It was great to read a strong male character that was not all hung up on something and having to be handled carefully into love. Josie had trust issues that Lawson was so gentle and understanding about. It was all just very sweet. I can’t wait to read Reagan’s story next.

I loved this book. It was what I needed after reading too many angst book. This book has a quirky concept but I loved it.
Josie is not finding love . She and her bestie go to a festival where a fortune teller says she must drink this live portion to find love sooner than later. Thinking what’s the ha she indulges. Well a series of unlucky events follow but lead her to Lawson.
Will she allow fate and potion to help her find love or let skepticism get in the way. Loved the story and the interaction of the characters. Can’t waot for the next book in the series .

The lovely Ms. Lane has one again given us a fast paced insta- love that will leaving you all hot and bothered !! This is a bit of a fantasy story ! Josie is given a love potion and her life is changed in a instant !!! She has had her fill of cheating boyfriends and could use a bit of good love luck ! Lawson is the owner of a garage in town. He is a sexy dirty talking mechanic that finds himself wildly attracted to Josie and after her car is brought in for a bit of a fender bender! Lawson is bewildered the attraction that he feels for this woman that he doesn't even know but the more he learns the more he can't fight it !!

I enjoyed this novella a lot. It was well written and easy to read. The characters, Josie and Lawson, are realistic and lovable. The sexual chemistry between them absolutely sizzles off the page. The storyline is logical with a couple of mix-ups along the way. I found myself invested in the characters’ lives and I was very hopeful that they would find their happy ever after. I’d happily recommend this book.

This may be a quick read but is fantastic! Josie and her best friend, Reagan, are at a festival when they go into a psychics tent. Reagan buys a love potion for Josie. After Josie drinks it she has some damage to her car. When she goes to the auto repair shop to see if it’s fixed she meets mr hotness, Lawson. Their chemistry is explosive and they are perfect for each other! Except he has a girlfriend. Loved every every word of this romantic story. Can’t wait to read the next book!

This is book one I. The lovestruck series and if this is book one I can’t wait for more as I absolutely loved reading this book. Lane Hart has done a great job with this first book. Lawson is a sexy mechanic who is on the edge of losing it all. Josie is on the look out for the man to forfill a prophecy and mend her Brocken heart. This is two people who co e together to overcome heart ache, betrayal and hurt.

This book opens with a fortuneteller's prediction, a very creative way to write the foreshadowing of events. The book mostly becomes a great story of how the prediction works itself out. It ends with a perfect HEA. I might be a little dense, but I couldn't see what was "tainted"about their love - it was a great love story.
