Patrick ‘Trick’ Harris has always been about his money. To him, women were only good for a quick nut. His heart was off limits because of the deep disdain he held for his mother, Annette. After three years of incarceration, Trick finds himself in unfamiliar territory. His once cold demeanor is slowly softening at the persistence of his childhood friend Panama Canales. Ma, as he called her, is a beautiful yet inexperienced woman who stood by his side during his three-year prison stint. Through his time with her, Trick finds himself feeling things he never thought possible. The only problem is that he won’t totally give in to those ‘feelings’.
As Panama continues to ride for Trick, he finds himself at a cross road as secrets begin to surface. Now, everything Trick envisioned with Panama is at risk and he doesn’t know how to handle it. After the truth is revealed, both Panama and Trick face some hard decisions.
Will they work through the trials or let them break apart their union? Will Trick get his shit together before Panama bounces or will she do the unthinkable to finally get his heart? Follow these two as they both battle through the trials and tribulations that comes with relationships and love.
Wow part 2 need to hurry up and come because I need to know the conclusion to this but as the saying goes you have to watch your closest friends because you never know what they capable of doing. For some reason I feel as though her sister Bria has something to do with Lamar being shot and Em as a friend suck she can't be trusted. I also feel like her brother Bobby is also up to no good. It may sound crazy but I really want Panama and Lamar to work it out because I see potential in their relationship oh and I think she pregnant and don't know it yet
Part 2 can't come quick enough!!! Panama was one down chick. She loved all of her friends and family and was faithful to all of them but they sure wasn't faithful to her. Trick knows he messed up a good thing but I'm thinking Bishop has some hidden agenda that's going to come out. This book is full of twists I can't wait.
I enjoyed this read but from the reviews I expected so much more. There was just too many thing left unsaid. Em is a horrible friend. Something is going on with everybody. How everybody in the book shady. Rex the only one got some kind of sense. Panama was feeling a lil stalkerish to me but not in a bad way it made me laugh.
I liked how Panama stayed down for Trick throughout the years. I'm glad she was able to have a friendship with him despite her feelings she definitely stayed down. Panama fought for what she believed was love but her messing with Bishop has awakened a new beast in Trick. I hope Rex get to him in time.
This was a Fast-paced drama filled with action and mayhem....the characters was Well identified and I could see the scenes in my mind ...This author draw a great picture to read along and all the twists and turns left me guessing ...Trick aweee asshole why you keep making the Same mistakes .....out FREAKING STANDING
Unfortunately for me... " Loving A Felon" did not live up to the hype of most it's rave reviews. With the constant on again off again love affair, it was clear the relationship was doomed before it ever began. Overall, I found the characters underdeveloped, the storyline drawn out, repetitive and elementary. Just goes to show...Different strokes for different folks.
