Tomado durante mucho tiempo como género menor, el género policíaco ha sido, sin embargo objeto de estudio por críticos y especialistas que, en general, intentan ubicarlo dentro del canon literario. En este esfuerzo, se destaca Clues: A journal of detection, una publicación periódica dedicada a analizar, comentar y difundir lo mejor de la literatura detectivesca. En este número en particular, en diversos artículos, distintos autores analizan y deconstruyen la obra de Agatha Christie. Muy recomendable para quienes desean profundizar en el contenido y significado de sus novelas.
