Painfully neutral is the only way I can describe how I feel about this book, which is beginning to become a theme with books by this author. I enjoy her writing style and the plot wasn't bad, but I still can't bring myself to love this book.

I very much enjoyed Mara as a character. I liked that she was headstrong, took everything into consideration and that she didn't jump into anything on a whim. Being in her head while she was questioning herself over Ian, for example, was very entertaining. I also liked that she didn't get on the mate bandwagon after a full two days of meeting Ian.

Ian was your basic shifter: possessive, arrogant and all around nice guy until you made him angry. I don't consider him anything special and I didn't necessarily dislike him, but he wasn't very memorable.

When things were finally picking up and getting interesting the book ended. I don't consider it a major OMG-I'll-Die-If-I-Don't-Know-What-Happens-Next cliffhanger because I wasn't really connected to the characters. I won't lose any sleep over it, is the conclusion I've come to. I will be picking up the next book just for the 'fun' of it when it gets released. I'd also like to mention that I would like to see a spin off of some kind for Ian's brothers and what happens when they get mated.

My Favorite Quotes:

"There is something soothing and healing about silent, dark nights."

"I didn't believe in luck; I believed in fate. It was both far more dangerous and far more believable."

"Love can come in a lot of different packages."

This is my third time attempting to read a series by this author. The first series I read by her I loved, the second I DNF’f . This one is not a keeper but I at least finished the first book. I keep trying because the one I was able to finish was fantastic and I just want to think she has others out there that I will love as much. But alas, this one is not one of those.

I tried. It didn’t work out. There was too much dialogue and not enough emotion for my tastes. I don’t really have much more to say other than the it was too fast emotionally and the heroine was not strong enough.

The start of this book really brought the rating down. The writing was extremely repetitive and conversations were dragged out and unnecessary. It's almost seemed like at some points, the author couldn't decide what sentence to use... so she just used all of them. One of the worst conversations to read was;

"“Yes.” She nodded solemnly. “It isn’t always the way they make it seem in the movies and books.”
“You read romance books?” I asked with genuine surprise.
“Does that surprise you?” Mrs. Peterson winked.
“No.” I kept putting my foot in my mouth.
“One doesn’t lose their interests just because they are older.”
“I wasn’t suggesting that. It’s just—”
“Just what?”
I wasn’t going to get out of it. I’d said too many wrong words already. “With all your rules about male guests, I assumed it.”
“You assumed what exactly?”
I threw up my hands. “Nothing. I have no idea how to talk my way out of this one.”"

It literally could have been summed up as "Mrs. Peterson didn't seem like the type to read romance novels".

But as the story went on, these conversations became less excessive (although they did drag on a fair bit) and I really started to enjoy the story. I craved to pick up my phone and read-and read it pretty quickly! Definitely going to pick up the next one- I need to know what happens! This is (I think) the first erotic / NA book I've read and I've got to say I was impressed. Bought for 99c on iBooks as a special deal and the next book isn't too expensive either. I've never read a bear shifter novel (lots of wolf ones of course) and this was really cool to read about. By the end a lot of other species were introduced and that really confused me and I probably would have enjoyed the story better if it consisted of only bears... but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and say that will all be explained more in the next novel.

I loved the characters! The creepy ones were creepy, the sweet ones were sweet... and the main characters were HOT. Loved their relationship. Mara didn't seem to want to jump into it which was realistic, and Ian's desperate need for Mara was very well explained / justified.

Didn't like how it ended... I hope this isn't going to take too much of a dark turn because I really don't like that... but owell I'm not going to know unless I read it- so that's what I'm off to do now! Bye!

Hunt, The Grizzly Brothers Chronicles by Alyssa Rose Ivy reawakened my need for shifter-paranormal romance novels. While Ivy's Chronicles moves to its end, HUNT brings newly developed characters, with the same intense charm, sexiness and whit I crave. Of course, I’ve hooked my teeth into a new book boyfriend for bookies and I to fight over. #IanGrizzly.

Mara, the lead female character, enters a small town that is reminiscent of Mayberry intertwined with something out of the Twilight Zone. In a town where everybody knows your name (Cue CHEERS theme song), and some, Crestview is a tad eerie with a ton of untapped secrets.

Mara arrives in Crestview as a research assistant with longtime friend and professor, Connor. While there, she also embarks on a journey to continue in her grandfather’s footsteps… ***NO SPOILERS***

Ian is sexy and he has his eyes on Mara. The gravitational pull he has toward her gets under his skin and he has trouble fighting the emotions. Although, Mara wants to protect herself, she cannot deny the instant "spark" that ignites being around him.

The pace of this book was unlike Grizzly’s predecessor. In order to give readers more backstory on new characters, I agree with its speed. I was a bit apprehensive and inpatient at first, but watching the characters slowly unravel proved an opportunity to decide if I liked them, wanted them to die a quick death, or if I wanted to tattoo their name on my chest lol. No worries, because of Ivy's style of writing, I instantly fell in love with all the newbies, even the ones I’m sure to LOVE to HATE.

Again, because I don't want to spoil the book, there are surprises that will keep you enthralled and waiting more. And right when you get to the point you begin to understand an inkling of the direction of this tale, it ends. LOL.

Happy Reading!

You could totally tell Ian is one of those macho guys, “it’s going to be more than sex.” But sex would be part of it. I’d be making sure of that." Ian isn't afraid to lay things down for Mara, “I want you. I want you for many reasons. Some of those reasons involve sex.”His eyes heated. “Let me rephrase that. Many of those reasons involve sex, but others have nothing to do with sex. And tonight we’re focusing on all those non-sex reasons. Got it?” With Mara you have to handle her with care and I sure liked how Ian handled her:
I made myself look. “You’re not wearing underwear.”
“I’m not.” He grinned.
“I am.”
“I figured as much.” His words were light and casual as if he weren’t standing there buck naked in front of me.
There was a cliffhanger but I didn't think it was to bad and now I'm eagerly awaiting the second book.

Awesome! I'm so excited that there is a new series by Alyssa Rose Ivy, I adore every single one of her books, I have them all in my bedroom. But seriously, I fell in love with this new world. The bears are just as cool as the the other shifters and I can honestly say that I immediately fell for Ian. I even liked his brothers!

Mara is the perfect name to use, I was a little unsure of Ian to begin with, I mean turning up in a new town on your own waiting around for a guy that's ditched you doesn't sound too fun but when Ian appears in Mara's life, I knew I wouldn't be able to put this book down!

Alyssa Rose Ivy has an amazing way of telling stories and making me fall head over heels for fictional characters every time I pick up one of her books.

I'm eagerly awaiting the next one!

Good start...bottomed out

This really good attention grabbing story in the beginning...then I have no idea what happened in the authors brain. And then! The repetitive arguments were eye roll worthy. Can't say that I would really recommend this.

This book grabbed you from the start, you will question what's going to happen, or what you think you know until the very end! I really enjoyed this book, but I found myself not being as sucked in as I had hoped.

Ian was great, he starts off rude but then makes his way towards swoon worthiness. I loved his dedication to not only his family/pack, but also to Mara.

Mara…… She was hard to read. I wanted to love her, but I ended only liking her. She just was too…… Grr for me. I was annoyed with the way she treated Ian. I understand where she came from, but at the same time, I don't like heroines that put past men's behavior onto the hero.

The overall story was good and different. I enjoyed the plot and the banter a lot. Not too sure how I feel about the secondary characters, but I would like to see more of them to find out. The ending was….. Not what I expected, I'm left wanting more. It does end in a cliffhanger so be warned. 3 stars #2OCCJD

Normally I devour this author's books, but this time, I just couldn't finish it. The arguments were so repetitive, and Ian came off as such a bully I couldn't stand him. The back and forth and secrets. Ugh. I finally skipped to the end to see what happened and was met with the cliffhanger. I'm just not sure I care enough to read the next book. I wish there had been some more substance, more than
Ian: You want to be with me
Mara: No I don't
Ian: Yes, you do *charming smile*
lather, rinse, repeat. It got old. Show more of WHY she'd want to be with him. But the 64% I slogged through was just that. I had to stop.

Okay

Told from Mara and Ians POV. She's a law student and he's a bear shifter. He wants her to be his mate but with so many secrets he wants her to love him first. The world building is good and the characters are well written. There's lots of twists and turns with the storyline but not many answered until near the end which ends on a cliffhanger. Although I enjoyed the book it felt more like just a romance than both that and action which I prefer. Sexual content. Recommended read

Ugh

This book was beyond irritating. It had very stunted dialogue. I Hated the hero and I hated the heroine. The hero was a pushy jerk and the heroine was a selfish b****. I didn't connect with this book at all. To top it all off, it was a completely unfinished story. You have to buy book two to finish it... I wish that was mentioned in the synopsis.

I received this eARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. I was in no way compensated for this review.

Hunt is the first book in the new Grizzly Brothers Chronicles, and if you’re thinking it takes place in the same world as the Flight Chronicles, you’d be right!! I was super excited to read this one because I positively adore Alyssa Rose Ivy’s Paranormal New Adult books! What’s even more fantastic and exciting about them all is how they all take place in the same world and connect with one another in some way. Basically, that they are the same group of characters, but they are ever expanding and adding in new people, that nothing is ever dull or flat! In fact, you’re itching to get more books from this world about all the characters! And since this is the Grizzly BROTHERS Chronicles, I pretty much want to see all the brothers in a story of their own!

But let’s focus on Hunt for the meantime! Ian is a bear shifter and Mara is your average human girl. When he notices her attending his brother’s funeral, one that no one was supposed to attend or know about, he’s curious about her. He thinks she might have had a relationship with his brother. And it’s not at all long before he’s tracking her down.

Mara is a fresh law student who came to Montana for the summer to help her family friend, Connor out with a case, but he left nearly right as she arrived to attend to business. So Mara is basically just waiting for him to return when Ian walks into her life.

Naturally, the attraction between these two was fierce and intense and immediate! But Mara isn’t one to just swoon and proclaim it’s love. She actually fights it, fights her own feelings. She tries her hardest to keep Ian at bay, but nothing is going to stop Ian from claiming her as his.

In a way, this was like starting the Flight Chronicles all over again! We have a human girl who knows nothing of the paranormal world she’s about to walk into or that the guy she’s falling for is something other than human. So there’s a lot of that new territory feeling. Ian actually manages to keep his secret for quite some time, as he’s more busy trying to win her over. For he knows in his heart that she’s his mate and they are destined to be together; he just has to convince her first without scaring her away.

Then the danger antes up when we learn some shady people are after Mara for some reason and there’s no telling what that reason is. Not even Ian can figure it out, he just knows he’ll do everything possible to protect her.

This was such an amazing read!! I pretty much eat up any of these Chronicles books Alyssa cooks up! And to continually have them all connected is awesome! Granted, we aren’t seeing the connection right away in this one, though we have met bear shifters before. It’s at the tail end when we see the ultimate connection between the previous Chronicle books! And now I am basically dying for the next book!!

If you’ve never read a book by Alyssa Rose Ivy yet, you are truly missing out. Because, for one thing, she writes Paranormal New Adult! It’s a break from the YA and a step below the adult ones, so it’s fun and fresh! And it’s truly not all about sex like some New Adult books tend to tread to. Granted, there’s sext and romance in the book, but it’s not the focal point of the story! Alyssa’s characters are always just sooo incredibly amazing! We have alpha males who are strong and fight to protect the ones they love, and can be basically be tamed by that special heroine. And the heroines are usually always the fierce strong type. Even ones who aren’t aware of their strength! And we’re not talking just physical strength either. They all have their own wit to them. And while Mara continued to deny her growing feelings for Ian, they felt legit. We never truly understand why, besides a brief mentioning of past relationships. To me, that speaks of reality. When you’ve been burned before, I feel like you would pretty much keep yourself from falling into yet another situation so quickly, where you feel like you could be burned again!

And I mentioned Ian has brothers! We got to meet three…well, four, but one was dead to begin with. I quite enjoyed what we got to see of them. Tyler in particular was a riot. I could totally see his please-let-it-be-real future book being a delightful read!!

Seriously, this book was sooo good! You don’t have to be fully up to date on the all Chronicles series to be able to read this one though. But I can tell that as we get further in this Chronicles series you might be led into some spoilers if you’re not up to date. In this one, it’s nothing more than knowing who ended up with who, and that’s hardly a spoiler in some sense if you already know about the Chronicles books. And since I’ve reviewed all of them to date here on the blog, you know I am in love with them all!

I cannot recommend Alyssa Rose Ivy enough if you’re looking for a Paranormal New Adult read, and if you don’t know where to start with all the fabulous series she has in that area, I always recommend starting at the beginning! ;)

I received Hunt in return for an honest review the author. Mara has lost everyone the only family connection she has is professor Conner the boy she grew up with. When he offers her a summer research job she takes it but as soon as she arrives in town he has to leave. Having only been in Crestview for a brief time she hasn’t gotten to really know any of the locals. Following in her grandfather’s footsteps she attends a burial for a man without any family but catches the attention of a stranger also attending.

When the man shows up at her door Mara isn’t too sure about him but her landlord is so set on playing matchmaker. Pushed into spending time with him Mara finds herself trying to deny the attraction but she isn’t the only one. However, Ian isn’t denying the attraction instead he’s determined to win her over and refuses to let her go. The more time he spends with her the stronger the connection but he hasn’t told her the truth of who he is just yet. When things spiral out of control the truth comes out and he’s not the only one with a secret. Now that the truth is out how will things play out.

I like Mara she’s sweet the fact that she goes to burials when the person has no one else made me love her more. I honestly didn’t love Ian at first I found him possessive and brutish when it came to Mara. However, the more we got to know him he grew on me, and by the end I adored him just like Mara. The chemistry between Ian and Mara is hot and steamy but he’s still a gentleman. We’ve got some great new characters that I’m curious to learn more plus a whole new selection of shifters to discover.

I’ve recently gotten really into bear shifter novels over the last year. When I heard that Hunt was set in my favorite world with new bear shifters I had to get my hands on it. Hunt is a fast paced whirlwind romance that is filled with mystery and secrets that could change everything. I admit that I’m not a huge fan of insta-love but it really works for Mara and Ian they just really need each other even if Mara doesn’t think it’s a good idea. I like that the novel connects us to the other series because I’m never ready to say goodbye to some of my favorite characters. The characters are great I found it easy to connect with Mara and Ian grew on me over the book. I truly enjoyed every moment of Hunt it was hard to put down, it’s a beautiful written story that starts an exciting new series. I love the author’s writing style she’s done a brilliant job of weaving an intricate story that captured my heart as well as my imagination. I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next and who’s going to show up in the next books. If you are a fan of paranormal romance I highly recommend you check them all out, because I've loved every single book by the author.

"There was something soothing and healing about silent and dark nights."

"But I didn't believe in luck. I believed in fate. It was both far more dangerous and far more believable."

I can not even begin to tell you how excited I was to hear that Alyssa Rose Ivy was writing a new paranormal series! I have been following her books for quiet some time now, so when I hear the words "new paranormal", I am like, count me in! Fate and destiny are some of my favorite things to read about in paranormal or fantasy reads. And I gotta tell you, I'm looking forward to seeing exactly what part fate will play in this story....

Hunt is told from dual points of view, and it will suck you in from the very first page. The plot and story-line of this story are so fresh and intriguing. Believe me when I say, it will have you asking questions. From the moment I met Ian and Mara, I had questions. I loved the instant connection that the two of them shared. I loved how Ian believed that meeting Mara was fate and that the two of them were destined to be mates. Especially since Ian wanted nothing to do with a mate until he met Mara. And Mara, I knew there was something special; something different about her. I can't wait to learn more about what makes her special....

Hunt is a fantastic read. I could not be more excited about this series. It's got something for everyone. There's romance. There's mystery. There's intrigue. Bear Shifters. Mysterious characters. And danger in unexpected places. I loved all the paranormal elements and the new world that Alyssa Rose Ivy has created. Once again, Alyssa Rose Ivy has blown me away. Not only is this story well written, but it is so intriguing. It will have you on the edge of your seat and it will keep you guessing right until the very end. And let me tell you, that ending!! OMG!! All I'm going to say is I hope the wait isn't too long because I have got to know what will happen next. If you love NA Paranormal Romance or have been following Alyssa Rose Ivy's books, you are definitely going to want to check this story out. It does not disappoint.

Hunt by Alyssa Rose Ivy
I received this book from the author for an honest review.
*Clapping* Well played Alyssa , WWWEEELLLLL PLAYED!!! That right there was what I essentially screamed after throwing my kindle and dropping some major cuss bombs.
As with any story from this amazing author we get to stay connected to “the Society”. The character are all under the rule of King Levi who isn’t mentioned much but he is there 
Our alpha…like real bear alpha is Ian. He comes home to find his alpha murdered so he is the new alpha who is looking to find out what happened to his brother. When he is at the funeral he sees a beautiful girl there. He figures she has something to do with his brother’s death so he is concerned and interested at the same time.
Mara is sad and alone. She has lost her entire family. She is working for a family friend who has left town and left her alone. She likes to visit funerals of people who have no family because like her grandpa taught her “no one should be alone the day they are buried”. She sees Ian but thinks she is imagining him.
Ian’s interest if peaked and after getting to know Mara, thanks to her meddling landlord, they get to spend a lot of time together. Ian cannot deny his need for her and his desire to mate and claim her as his. Before he can do any of that he has to tell her his “truths” about what he is. Mara can’t believe how she is so relaxed and carefree with Ian and then freaks out at how she acts when she is away from him. She can’t help the draw she feels for him either but keeps denying it too.
When the plot EXPLOSION happens and he find out about Mara and her family plus the bad place they left her with the bad guys….WOW but then……we meet……. the guy in the suit……all I can say is EPIC!
If you are a fan of all of her Chronicle books, you will love the this new series and all it has to offer.

A new shifter series and they are bears <3

Ian is the new Alpha in town, its a small town with lots of shifters living amongst humans. There's a new human in town! her name is Mara and she has caught Ian the new alpha's attention.

Mara is trying to find some space, she has lost her only relative and now her only friend is Connor who has disappeared since she arrived in Crestview. Connor is family friend and she is supposed to be working with him on a legal case well when ever he returns she will.

Ian isn't a big oath, his got all the right attributes and tries to be a gentleman around Mara - that's not easy when he has realised she is his perfect mate - now to win her over and gently introduce her to his bear and the shifter world.

I liked both our main characthers, Ian isn't grizzly at all even if it is his surname - his very affectionate and caring - he has a lot of brothers that all seem to be entertaining and I can see them having a story of their own sometime. Mara is slightly guarded but she is unable to resist the attraction between her and Ian. She has a surprise or two ahead of her too.

The storyline is developed at a good pace, little pieces of intrigue are introduced here and there to keep things interesting BUT we don't get a HEA in this book its a CLIFFY and I now need to get my hands on book 2 as I need to know more.

Yes, this has caught my attention - I love shifters and Bears are one of favourites along with wolves.

I have read most of Alyssa Rose Ivy's Chronicles, however I had hesitated to pick this one up. Something about the bear shifter didn't appeal to me. However, Ian quickly changed my mind.

Alyssa is a queen among paranormal writers. Her world of shifters is so fully developed that it's 1005 believable. Her books are always well written, have good storylines, and have great characters. This one was no exception. Mara is a law student with no real family left and no close friends. She has relocated to a small town in Montana for the summer to work as a lawyer's legal assistant on a land case. Ian is the new Alpha of his brother's grizzly clan. He recognizes her as a mate immediately. Mara is more conflicted towards him. She's attracted to him, but believes all of her relationships are doomed to fail. She recognizes that if she were to get involved with Ian and then lose him that it would destroy her. Ian is not one to be pushed away though. I love Ian. He's a complex man, but worthy. Mara is more difficult to like. Her constant bad attitude and her walls are hard to take, but when she lets her guard down, you get a glimpse of a lovely girl.

This a story of mystery, danger, and surprises. I was not fond of ether side female character, but the other grizzlies have potential. The story ends with a major cliffhanger, so you will need to read the next book. I wasn't thrilled with that, but I do like the tie-ins with the other shifters. For me this book wasn't as good as the other Chronicles, but it's still a good read.

Entertaining and suspenseful... (4 1/2 stars)

Hunt gets us off to a great start in what is lining up to be yet another great series by Ivy. In Hunt the reader is introduced to Mara and Ian, who are immediately drawn to one another as a connection between the two begins to click into place. As they begin to spend more and more time together it becomes obvious that there are quite a few things that are being hidden, some are deliberate and others not so much as secrets are revealed. The suspense of what is to come is palpable by the end of the book leaving me wanting the next book in the series as soon as possible.

So why 4 1/2 stars and not 5 you may ask? There where times where some of the scenes felt rushed to me and character development was not as complex as I would have liked. I really can't ding Ivy on this as Hunt is only the first book in the series and I fully anticipate that as Mara and Ian's story continues to evolve so will their character development. I look forward to getting to know more of these characters and to see how this story unfolds.

Hunt has all the makings of an exciting new series; sexy bear shifters, strong female leading ladies, suspense, and danger.

Last but not least, I received Hunt as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to start yet another great series from Alyssa Rose Ivy.

Another awesome series has been born! Sometimes I think Alyssa simply doesn't sleep and sits at home thinking about new books she can bring to book world. I love the fact that her imagination seems endless. And that she is a freaking machine with writing book after book after book. And all of them are amazing.

In here we meet Mara. A girl that has no family. Recently she has lost her grandfather and is alone. Well, she does have a father. Somewhere. But they are not close. And she simply feels alone. She decides to take an internship in small town and work for an old family friend. Where she thought she will learn something she was left behind by her employer, who left the town in some hush-hush business. But when she meets Ian everything is changing. Truths are revealed about her, her family and her future.

Ian. He is determined to find out who has murdered his older brother. A lonely girl at his brother's funeral raises his suspicions but after he meets Mara he is shocked that his bear chose her for his mate. And here would be nice to have a simple romance but not with Ari! We have an appearance from an old villain that made my jaw hit the floor! I did not expect to see that!

can't wait for the next part!

5 heavenly stars!

Another exceptional book in The Chronicle series. I'm glad I have read Alyssa Rose Ivy's previous Chronicle series, since they all tie into each other. However, you could still read Hunt and totally understand the story without reading any of the previous books (although I do recommend reading from the beginning; The Crescent Chronicles, "Flight") I am in love with this story. ARI has created another fantastic world hidden among humans. Ian and Mara are wonderful together. Their chemistry burns up the pages of the book. Of course there's some paranormal beings involved, shifters being the main beings. Then we get introduced to another paranormal being that is a rare and valuable commodity in the paranormal world. Also, Bryant (Jared's brother=bad guy) shows up in this book. So there are Pteron's too. I won't give any specific info but I do know you'll be begging for more once you hit the last page~

Wow oh wow! Does Rose Ivy pack a punch with this new storyline! We have new characters, new shifters and things I've never thought possible all coming into play with Rose Ivy's newest release The Hunt- The Grizzly Brother a Chronicles.
From the very beginning Rose Ivy had me intrigued with Mara. Alone in Montana, this young woman was very reserved, lonely, and definitely different from the typical leading ladies that Rose Ivy creates. Pairing her with alpha bear and Grizzly brother Ian was no surprise to me. Their instant connection, banter and attraction leapt from the pages of this chronicle instantly sucking me into the story.
Throughout this story I kept waiting for the typical tangled interwoven web of story lines that I love so much of Rose Ivy's. She surprised me with this one! I never saw this one unravel until the very end and I am completely sold, ready to see what will become of these Grizzly Brother characters.

So I was a little bit torn with this book. By this I mean I didn't love it like I have loved all the other Chronicles but it was by no means disappointment. I am really interested to find out where Alyssa is going to go with this one but I fear that maybe it has all been done before and there really is nothing new to bring to it.

At the beginning I loved Mara, she seemed strong and independant which is something I like in the main female character. Then when Ian come into the picture I think everything went out the window. I feel she gave into Ian to quickly (I know the man is hot but please give it a month at least). This was really the only flaw or I guess annoyance I had with the book.

The pace was perfect for the development of these new characters giving us just enough information to understand but leaving us wanting more. I really am looking forward to the next book and learning more about Mara, Ian and his brothers.

Mara is still grieving from losing her grandfather when her professor Conner offers her a job as a research assistant in Crestview, Montana. When he disappears, Mara feels lost. Bear Shifter and new Alpha, Ian returns home after his brother away, he sees Mara at his funeral wondering why she is there. Initially Ian wonders if she had a hand in his death, but quickly realizes Mara is innocent and his mate. Convincing Mara though is another matter all together. As he gets closer to understanding Mara, Connor arrives and what he shares with Mara changes everything she knew, everything she knows and questioning who to trust.

I went back and forth on 3 or 4 stars. I gave it 4 for originality. It is a very wordy story which normally I like but it is like breakneck speed. Action packed but also a cliffhanger which drives me nuts when reading with no warning it is a cliffhanger. Will pick up the others to see what happened but wish it had been one story.
