I got this book looking for info on the secret acts of the Illuminati, their connection with the FreeMasons, the rituals, the curses spoke over families. Not to be found (but are in other books).
No sign of a new world order and conspiracies are mostly debunked. Like the symbolism on the US dollar. Not occult or mystical this says.
The book gives a lot of in-depth history of how this secret society began, how it expanded, its purpose, this was most of the book. As for modern day impact the author basically says it’s non-existent and nothing here for conspiracy hunters to find. I found it dull and do not doubt more esoteric and occult elements are either left out or the author is unaware. Historically educational but that’s it. 2 stars - disappointing.

Does the Illuminati Still Exist?
It was an okay read. Interesting but not over the top interesting. It was well written, but just not as intriguing as I thought it would be. But still a good/okay read.

Very interesting
A very interesting read, I loved how the illuminati started in the beginning,extremely interesting and informative read. I do not agree with his modern views on this subject, but this book is a must read.

This book did indeed separate fact from fiction about this organization. I did not know this org started as a Bavarian organization during the enlightenment!
