What happens when two sets of parents decide their thirty-something offspring need to get married? To each other. The problem? Neither one wants wedded bliss, and they don’t even know each other. Kyle Montgomery is happy with his single state and the excitement of running the Montgomery Hotel Corporation. Pepper Thornton is just as happy running the family B&B, the Hibiscus Inn. When Kyle’s parents insist he take a look at the “darling” inn they found, he finally agrees. He’ll do anything to get away from their constant hounding. But he insists on going in without fanfare. He doesn’t want all the hoopla that usually surrounds his visits.
Pepper is so tired of her mother dragging every single man in Bayview to the B&B she invents a fiancé. Kyle Montgomery, single, on vacation according to his information. Lucky for her Kyle chooses that moment to arrive.
But Kyle is hardly prepared for the woman who launches herself at him with a hot kiss and introduces him as her intended. As long as he’s running away, he figures he might as well play along with her. She’s hot and fun and he can used the diversion. Pepper is just relieved he isn’t giving her away.
But someone forgot to tell them about hormones and passion and emotion,. What started out as a fun ploy suddenly turns into something much more—until reality pokes up its head and nearly destroys it all.

-H seems a little bit of a man whore, no description, "all the women I'm with know the score" -Bother not virgins -H just recently "broke up" with one of his clingy bed mates, she does not appear in the book -No Ow drama -some push near the end by h, doesn't last long -HEA, No epilogue
Nice story we meet two thirty somethings with parents that won't leave them alone and are constantly shoving potential partners at them. Both sets of parents want grandchildren! Pepper throws herself at Kyle Montgomery as he is checking in at the BandB inn she runs. She tells everyone he is her fiancé. Kyle goes along with the deception. However, unbeknownst to Pepper is the fact that Kyle is really at the inn to see if it's worth buying. Very nice story and circumstances end up being corrected with some groveling!
What a great story. Love the Billionaire Universe series. If you haven’t read any of the Billionaire books that started it all by Melody Anne, make sure to add them to your library.
Runaway Billionaire (A Melody Anne's Billionaire Universe KW book) by Desiree Holt is a fast paced, quick read. This is a perfect choice for those with limited time for reading. Ms Holt has given us a fun read. Runaway Billionaire is loaded with fantastic characters, steamy sexy bits, humor and drama. Pepper and Kyle's story is entertaining from cover to cover. I enjoyed Runaway Billionaire and look forward to my next book by the talented Desiree Holt. Runaway Billionaire is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
Great addition! Kyle and Pepper have an instant reaction that surprises them both. They just done realize they are being manipulated by 2 sets of parents intent on grandchildren. Desiree gives us a quick moving plot with lots of content, well developed characters to love and a little turmoil to spice it up. The sex scenes are very tasteful. Loved it! A must read for the Melody Anne fans!
Desiree stayed true to her style of writing and to Melody Anne's concept of her Billionaire universe. Kyle and Pepper are one hot couple. It's a great story, even with just a mention of Joseph.
