2 stars!

I only read the first 2 stories in the box set this is a review for them.

These stories feel incomplete to me. More like a snapshot in time than a romance. None of the MCs talk about love or even being together...although it is implied they are now dating. I guess it isn't a bad thing just really different than what i'm used to reading which made it feel incomplete.

What I liked was the unique scenarios these MCs find themselves in. Needing a fake boyfriend to make so money from a school study, I haven't read that before but I also didn't think it lived up to its potential and felt more like a plot device.

Really when you boil it down these stories had editing errors and little plot and abrupt finishes which makes them feel like they were written awhile ago and need another spin through an editor and some reworking.

Two Week Boyfriend
The developing relationship between Keith and Ben starts with Keith needing money and learning about a paid study...for couples. He asks his group of friends and Ben, someone he doesn't really know, offers to be his boyfriend. When they decide to go out as a couple so they could answer the questions more easily, they become more and more attracted to each other. When the survey suddenly ends, they don't know where they stand, but they soon realize they love each other. It's a sweet story and I really enjoyed it!!

Image of You
Piotr needs a model for a photography class and he hires Josh, a rowing athlete. When Josh has a reaction to Piotr, he questions what he's always known about himself. That he was straight. The more he works with Piotr, the more he can't control his reaction for him, until Josh kisses Piotr, which leads to more. I love the connection between Josh and Piotr and it's a wonderful story!!

Line Change
Connor and Luke are both sophomores who are trying out for the same position, and when Luke gets it and both of them have to be partnered as defensemen, Connor decides that he's going to make Luke's life more difficult. One night during an away game, Connor is excited about the win and he starts wrestling with Luke, which leads to more. When they realize that they don't hate each other anymore, Connor is thinking about leaving schools, and their true feelings come out. Another great couple and story!!
