Terry and Chris. A lovely story with so much hope in it. Sometimes heart squeezing
But overlay full of love and caring and the opportunity to see a future.
Terry homeless after losing his partner, his job and sinking in a depression. At a Helping Hand center he meets Chris. Their first encounter is not the best one but after that they really are in to each other. They take care of a young very ill homeless mother Jemma and her little child Marcus. They bring her to Chris his mother Melek a woman just like her son with a very big warm heart. From that moment Jemma and Marcus are not homeless anymore and Terry also finds himself in that circle. He gets a job and even can get the 'granny' apartment.
The family is an example how people should take care of each other. How to open hearts and doors. How to give hope and love and the feeling you matters!!
Step by step Chris and Terry are getting closer and closer.
Unfortunately life is sometimes running out of control. A nosedive is unavoidable.

Warming story full of compassion, love and hope for better times.

Terry loses his partner Paul to a hit and run accident he is absolutely devastated. There begins his spiral to hitting rock bottom he loses his job and ends up homeless on the streets. Two years later he is queuing for his meal in the drop in centre and he sees Jemma with her small child Marcus. He wants to help because Jemma is sick with Cancer and she is worried to death her son will enter the system when she can’t look after him anymore. Now Chris comes into the picture an IT consultant whose office is opposite the centre and what he thinks is a weird creep (Terry) following the Mother and child he rushed to their rescue. Revealing both men actually want to help her one with more means than the other. Chris takes them to his Mother to put a roof over their head and the two men realise they actually have feelings for one another. This allows Terry to start the healing process he gets employed that offers him a granny annex so he is no longer in the streets.
A story of grief and loss from a man who rises from the ashes to get his life back together. Hope for a better future pulling himself from the gutter. It shows that with hope you can overcome many challenges and power your own life.

A nice easy read

Even though it had a slow start, it was still a good read. The author did a good job at developing the characters including well developed backstories. It was a lovely sweet romance.

This is story of Gay couple, two guys named Chriss and Terry love eachother immensely. Although they are gay they are sympathetic towards women, especially Chriss who helps a woman and his toddler in need. We also discover that they have the father love in them while they look after Jemma's son named Marcus. Terry does not that good job like Chriss but that does not bother their relationship. When Terry leaves Chriss and his family due to his illness. Chris's searches for him. Due to this we get to learn that their love is not just based on lust but is pure love.

Boundless Love is a wonderful heartfelt tale by Lily Lamb.

Terry's an interesting character. His ex husband died, leaving him with a personal experience of grief and depression. He's known rock bottom, has been homeless, but is trying to rebuild his life. His character is written with a whole lot of honesty and compassion.

Chris sets out to help a crying woman, Jemma. Oh what a tale she has to tell. What a tragic storyline, with such horrendous circumstances. But, upon helping her, Chris also meets Terry and the lives of both men are forever changed.

Chris and his mom are amazing. I'd be hard pressed to find more generous, loving, and caring characters. I could read about them all day.

As for Terry and Chris, their story is one that develops slowly, and is beautiful in the end.

The writing is well done, with some wonderfully complex characters and a raw and realistic storyline. The author fully explores the plight of living in a world of misery and hardship, with drugs, prostitution, and illness. Everything is well explored, with a realistic touch and the easy manner into which someone can fall into this world. She also throws in some twists and turns that had my emotions going haywire.

Boundless Love is a good read. Lily Lamb combines a story of love and hope with a tale of the streets. It's not as easy read, but it's a worthwhile one. Despite the harrowing nature of this story, everything is written with a sense of hope, drawing the story into an uplifting one.

There is a notion that life does not often give us second chances, frankly I find it does…however, I find third chances more scarce and even more valuable. Terry is homeless, his problems are real, and life has left him gutted; but he has crawled the hard way back and is doing the work. This is a hopeful story, yet still a very real depiction of the gritty, everyday reality of many.

As in all of this author’s books, this story focuses on the people that may often seem expendable or are overlooked by many, but are nonetheless real, valuable and endearing. This book does not have mindless victims and it is a beautifully empowering story with wonderfully well-developed characters. I have followed this author’s books from the beginning of her career and it is exciting to see her spread her wings into some new territory with this offering, taking some daring risks that pay off beautifully for the reader.

Lastly, amongst the flood of positive things that I want to share about this exciting read, I want to say this…I find books that fill in all the blanks and tie everything up with a pretty bow at the end, leaving the reader with nothing to think about or possibilities to consider…well I find them unfulfilling. Boundless Love by Lily Adile Lamb is real, realistic, and has a happy ending too.

**ARC RECEIVED FOR HONEST REVIEW**
Where to start with reviewing this book...... I feel the author was extremely brave in writing a story about issues regarding homeless people. Yet the way in which this was written was absolutely beautiful.
In this we meet Terry, whom after losing his life partner leads his life to fall into a downward spiral. He ends up depressed, jobless and homeless and feeling totally worthless. But life has a funny way of throwing people together, especially in the way he meets Chris.
I don't want to give too much away but their meeting and the way in which they meet is pivotal to how the story evolves.
This was such an emotional read and was written with such fluidity, never letting the reader forget how the characters met or their backgrounds. It had a few laughs but also so many eye watering moments too.
I absolutely loved this story and feel the author definitely did a perfect job of bringing the plights of homeless people, the reasons behind them being homeless etc to light.
FANTASTIC !!!

Boundless Love by Lily Adile Lamb is a story about love, pain and life. The writer has the courage to tackle unpleasant themes and make them palpable and bearable at the same time. Who really cares to read about homelessness and illness? Of course both themes are unpleasant but through them the reader faces life that tends to be raw and agonizing. The story’s realism hurts and makes everyone question their own existence. However, there is hope and that is what makes this story so valuable. The characters go through their own cathartic battles but find peace in their harmonic relations they form. Melek finds purpose after her husband’s passing by caring for Markus, a two year old who lost his mother. Chris returns to his parent’s home to take care of his grieving mother, Melek, and surprisingly enjoys it. Terry who is a homeless man defeats the harshness of life and finds love. The connection of people who meet by chance or kismet glorifies the meaning of being human. Perhaps the story made me a better person or I hope it did.

This story is full with caring and compassion for ones that need help and will not ask
Terry has fallen in deep hole with lost of everything in his life. Unknown to him there will be a bright light at the end of that dark tunnel. Marcus is shy but he brights up when he see Terry at Helping Hand. Terry does not have any thing being homeless but he just wants help Jemma and Marcus. Chris at first mistake a situation and try to help Jemma also. Melek and Chris bring Jemma and her son into their home to help take care of Jemma conditions. That when the emotional ride starts and it will bring you to tears the love and care they give to a total stranger. This is 5 star read that you must read today....

The story premise was interesting, but the writing style was horrible. Poor, if any, proofreading was done. there were many, many punctuation errors and misplaced/misused/misspelled words that distracted from the storytelling. Regardless of those problems, the prose was too formal at times and too informal at others. I cringed whenever the author had her characters speak because it never sounded authentic. Often, I felt like I was reading notes/directions from a stage play. I felt very little emotion. The sex scenes were like reading a pulp fiction book. This book was a mess for me. I don't think I would read anything else by this author.

A great read!

This book is an uplifting and emotional journey that beautifully captures the resilience of the human spirit. The story of Terry, a homeless man who crosses paths with Jemma and Chris, is both heart-wrenching and heartwarming.
The author expertly weaves a narrative of compassion and hope, showing how small acts of kindness can have a profound impact on the lives of others. The characters are richly developed, and you can’t help but root for Terry as he finds his way back to life.
The unexpected twists keep you engaged, and the ending leaves you with a sense of warmth and fulfillment.
This is a must-read for anyone who believes in the power of second chances and the goodness in people.

Heart-warming characters

Love this! All the characters are likeable, believable, and well-written. We embark on a love story between the homeless Terry and office worker Chris as the pair come together to help a dying young woman and her little boy. Of course, the road to true love is never smooth, and there will be tears before getting to that satisfying, happily ever after conclusion.

With all the homeless people in Australia, you will wish more kindhearted people like Chris and his gorgeous mother, Melik, were around.

A beautiful love story.

Good book but I wanted a epilogue

It was a good book to read but I wanted more at the end instead of just love making. The plot was sometimes far fetched and not really believable but I still enjoyed the characters. I gave the book 4 stars and would recommend reading it if you have an open imagination.

I love reading Lily's stories and this is another one I can happily recommend to everyone. The story is of having chances and giving it your all to succeed even life knocks you down two or three times. Terry and Chris are adorable as they find their friendship after helping a young mum and a toddler. Terry has been on the streets for the past two years, with the help of a doctor and community organizations help him get back on his feet again. While Terry is in line at the local drop-in center he sees a mum and child and feels he needs to help them.
Chris is looking over the Center and notices a lady and child being followed by an tall man and scents somethings is not right and goes to intervene.
What happens next is a tale of struggle and love. The author has the story going in one direction and when you sense how its going to end, she ups and changes things into a more exciting although exciting isn't the right word maybe drama filled book. A must read..Oh you may need tissues..

I love everything I've ever read by this author and was so pleased when I was asked to review this book for Rainbow Gold Reviews
I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
A super sweet love story that touches on several not so lovely truths. Terry was left reeling from a huge loss and fell into a deep depression. This led to his losing his job and eventually becoming homeless. He’s experienced the worst of human behavior when he’s beaten and can’t even go home to his parents to recuperate because they believe it was a just punishment for him being gay.
As he begins to take steps to get his life back in order, he spends part of his mornings at a “Drop in center” to have a breakfast and get some help towards becoming employed. There he makes some friends as he is an honest and friendly person.
As he starts to rebuild his life, Terry meets Chris, who works across the street from the drop in center. They bond over heartbreaking and heartwarming circumstances and while they are instantly attracted to each other, they take their time and become friends before they become lovers. Watching the direction life takes these men had me in tears more than once. While not angsty, this story has some serious feels. I love how the relationships between everyone are full of love and compassion. The sex, once it happens is much like everything in this book, sweet and loving. It also has a bit of hot and heavy as well. There was a ton of chemistry between them and they were as believable as they were sweet.
I connected instantly with Terry, he is just so sweet and honest and open that I couldn't help but love him. I was rooting for him to get his HEA from the beginning of this book. He is a proud man who, once he decides to get his life back in order, works hard to make that happen in short order. Chris, while he's as open and honest as Terry, pulled on my heartstrings for a different reason. He is self-sufficient, loved by his family and seems to want for nothing, yet he puts himself out there in order to help complete strangers. I wanted just as badly for Chris to have his HEA as well.
The secondary characters play a very important part in this story and are very well developed. This book address so many issues in such a deep and loving way that I hope I can do the story justice in this review. Lily Adile Lamb talks about many different issues that many people can face in today's world. She does so in a compassionate and touching way that brings to light some real struggles. That said, Lily Adile Lamb was able to brilliantly turn this story from one that could have been very sad into one that was lovely. I know that Lily Adile Lamb had some issues that almost ruined the release of this book. I applaud this author in overcoming those adversities and winning by releasing as originally planned.

One of life’s biggest obstacles are unexpected events that change who we are and where we are in our life. Some are wonderful, hopeful, and inspiring changes that let us reach higher than ever expected. Some are heartbreaking, crushing, and arduous battles that bring us to an all time low; challenging us in ways we would never expect.

Terry is going through one of those obstacles after a life altering heartbreak that left him homeless and alone, but he is now at a point that he is ready to rebuild all that was lost to him. Starting fresh, especially for a homeless person is one the hardest task given because most people do not always think the best of you or you are completely overlooked in life.

Chris has lived a life full of love, family, and a great career. Through this life of love and acceptance Chris has been taught to be a good samaritan to others less fortunate than himself which is what ultimately leads to Terry and Chris meeting.

Will Terry be able to overcome his demons and build up his trust in someone else besides himself? Does Chris stay strong in face of Terry’s constant fight to be prove he is worthy of a man like Chris?

Writing about a homeless person’s struggle all the while making you feel hope and love is what truly made this story so wonderful. I truly thought this was a beautiful story of not just these two men going through some major life changes all while trying to navigate this tenuous relationship, but the story of a homeless man gaining back himself and his life through hard work and trust.

Not only do we have this slow build between Terry and Chris, but she has created a wonderful cast of secondary characters, Jemma, Marcus, and Melek, whose own stories are developing throughout, are essential to Terry and Chris. Although, I felt some parts of the narration and character interactions were stilted the author did a wonderful job in developing each character and their importance to this story, interweaving them perfectly. There was one part of the story that I felt would've been better off “shown” over a series of scenes instead of “told”, because it would have given the reader the chance to slowly and truly feel the connection that was needed that surrounded this particular situation. The overall pacing and development of the story was so well done that there never a part that I felt was rushed or stagnant. Any story that fills you with so much hope and love is one everyone should read!

Author Lily Lamb turns her attention to the plight of the homeless in this heart-warming tale of those for whom life has dished-out a rough deal. Terry, having coped badly with the loss of his partner Paul in a hit-and-run, has lost his job, lived on the streets and now lives in a hostel whilst taking meals at a drop-in centre. There he encounters Jemma, the child of abusive parents, whose cancer has been detected too late and whose small child, Marcus, is threatened with a life in care through the imminent death of his mother.

It’s when Chris, whose office faces the drop-in centre, intervenes to help Jemma, to whom Terry is already offering help, that the story goes off in a direction unexpected by either of these unfortunates. Together with his mother Melek, Chris brings about the best possible future for the destitute Jemma and Marcus, not to mention Terry, his own attraction for whom would appear to be reciprocated.

In a well-paced narrative, the author illustrates how homelessness can happen even to those who seem most unlikely to fall into that state, and demonstrates how the compassion of those better-placed in life can make all the difference; as well as showing that families are not made from blood-bonds alone in a narrative which plays up the positives of human society amongst the many negatives.

Lily Adile Lamb writes stories. Stories where I remember the characters and what happened to them long after I finished reading the book. In Boundless Love the author takes on difficult issues. One character has a life that is working. One is struggling to make it out of the pit. They meet over wanting to help a dying woman. Read the book over how it turns out. I found the writing dense but still with a good flow to it. I felt for her characters. I want them to have a happy ending. Well written and challenging. Numeric rating between 4 and 5, going with 5 because the book was amazing.

I enjoyed the story of Terry & Chris, the family they have & the family they made. This is a heartfelt journey of the making of their family. Terry struggled to improve his life after the death of his partner leaves him unable to cope. Chris & this mother are lovely people who don't hesitate to help others in need. They come together first as friends with an attraction which slowly builds into something meaningful for both of them. As expected in life, there were a few obstacles to overcome & major changes for both of them before they got the HEA they both deserve. The story had great flow & was well paced.

I received an ARC from the author.

I thought this was a sweet love story between Terry, who was homeless and jobless, and Chris, who offered him a home.

The reason I've only given it two stars is that the whole book was spoiled by typos. Now, I can usually put up with a few so I pushed on through the book in the vain hope it would get better, but no such luck. I don't mind some as I can often make out what the author meant, but some of them made no sense whatsoever.

I'm sorry to be so hard, especially as I usually like this authors books, but if this continues I won't be reading them any more.

Boundless love by the lovely lily lamb. Not my usual genre if I’m honest but one that I enjoyed. The love woven into the words is heartfelt and like lily lovely. It was a topic which would have taken some guts to tackle. It is heart wrenching but also soul filling. And lily tackles difficult subjects (homelessness, loss and grief through different eyes) with feeling and thought and I enjoyed the intricacies between the emotions of all the characters. It was as a story worth reading. Well done. Lily.
