Just as Summer settles into her new life with the Silver Wood coven, her world is upended. Templar Michael Charbon inexplicably kidnaps her from the very place he’d sent her for safety. Though still suffering from amnesia, Summer has learned of the long enmity between Wiccans and Templars, and tries everything to escape him. But as he thwarts her every attempt, the fierce desire that has always bonded them surfaces.

Though hundreds of miles away, warlock Troy Atwater will not give up. Taken from under his nose, he pursues his lover with a single-minded quest: to reclaim her and kill the Templar. What he finds when he tracks them down, however, rocks him to the core. Not only are Summer and Michael lovers, he finds himself drawn to join them.

What none of them know is that Michael has come under the suspicion of his Templar brothers. Though he’d thought to save Summer from a calamity at the coven, he has unwittingly placed her in grave danger. Warlock and Templar must work together or see their lover destroyed.

Interview with the Author
Q - If you could choose, would you want a Templar or a Wiccan?

A - Oh a Wiccan, any day of the week, and twice on Sunday. But in this series our young, beautiful and amnesiac witch doesn’t have to choose!

Q - There’s a polyamorous theme to the coven series. Care to explain?

A - That’s the beauty of the Wiccan world: they’re open to love and passion in all its forms. These series have given me a lot of room to play. But let me tell you, I take my play very seriously.

Q - What order should I read the books?

A - The Silver Wood Coven series is numbered one through five, the Castle Coven series is numbered one through six, and the Magus Corps series is numbered one through seven. Although the Magus Corps series was the first one I created in the paranormal world of witches and warlocks, you can read the Silver Wood Coven series first with no problem at all!

Hazel and her husband stopped being separate people years ago. They live their happy life in the always crowded, mostly sunny, and sometimes sweltering city of LA. Though they haven’t managed it yet, plans are afoot to add a kitty to the household, thereby giving the allergist fits.

Hazel has been writing full-time for several years, with some traditionally published work in other genres. But it’s her indie-published romance that fuels the creative fire. It turns out writing isn’t a job, it’s an obsession.

When you can pry Hazel’s fingers from the laptop, you’ll find her: on the elliptical watching a documentary, indulging her audiobook habit, or spending quality time with Candy Crush. Although she’s vegan, she’s a disaster in the kitchen. Luckily, potato chips and pinot noir come ready-made.

In this second installment, Summer and Michael's story continues. Michael has learned quite a bit about the Templars upcoming plans and finds himself more and more at odds with it all, including why his Master is gunning so hard for Summer. This makes him do what he feels is right, follows his heart and goes after Summer deciding she would be safer with him than with Troy. Boy was he wrong. He vows to protect her with his life, and in the process learns just how right it is to be with Summer. Even though this now makes him a traitor and paints a huge bulls-eye on his back.

This story was so well written with such great descriptions, it made getting immersed in the story very easy. I highly recommend this series, not just this book, to all paranormal romance lovers.

Stolen, Yet Saved

Book two, Stolen, picks up where Book one, Rescued, left off. These are not standalone books, so reading in order is a must, but an enjoyable necessity. Book one tended to be on the slow side, but the pace is so much better in this second installment. It moves quickly enough that you stay interested and you're at the end before you know it. We find out more secrets and the twists are abound! The triad is very close to being completely formed, but without Summer's memories, they all move on instinct, need, and compulsion. The teaser for book three is spot on. Can't wait for it to be released!

In this book it starts straight from when the first book ended Summer has been kidnapped by Micheal and Troy is out to get her back.
In the mean time Summer is acting on her feelings for Micheal. But she is quickly learning that something or someone is missing from the picture.
One of the Templars has gone mad whilst another is watching Micheal as they think he may know more than he says.
Micheal throws himself in front of Troy and Summer to save Summers life.
This book also ends on a cliffhanger.

Each of the books in the Silver Wood Coven series is a short read. These books end in cliffhangers and are not meant to be read as a stand alone. Graphic violence and hot and steamy sex so definitely 18+. I was immediately drawn into the characters and storyline and read books 2-5 straight through. I really enjoyed these books and look forward to reading the sixth book in the series once it's released.

Couldn't put it down! This book was action galore, and I couldn't stop reading until I finished the book.
Summer keeps astonishing herself with new found abilities, but still can't remember her past.
I'm excited to see her develop both her magic, and her relationships. Can't wait to read the next one!

Yes, Summer has some control of her powers and she realizes Michael and Troy are her sentinels. Gideon has gone off the reservation and they all realize there is a traitor among the Wiccans.
this book is about Summer and Michael. Not as good a romance as Summer and Troy IMO but pretty darn good.

We pick up where book 1 left off. Michael is fighting his attraction to Summer. But will he succeed? Summer is coming into her powers more. Troy finally finds her but can he handle what he sees? Will they survive the altercations that come? Will the covens be warned? What will happen next?

Picks up exactly where Rescued leaves off.
Very quick read and not just because of the page count. Hard to put these down because things move so fast.
I'm really liking Hazel's style.

Summer is getting settled into her new life as a witch in the Silverwood Coven. Troy, the warlock who is protecting her, is now her lover as well. The two are getting to know each other better as they are trying to figure out who Summer really is and what happened to her before she ended up in Central Park. Everything seems to be going well until Michael, the Templar who found her in Central park, comes back and takes her away from Troy.

Michael keeps telling himself that the only reason he took Summer away from Troy is to protect her from the other Templars hunting her but he can't deny the attraction he has to her. He soon gives up his celibate lifestyle and takes Summer as his lover. At first Summer feels guilt in being with Michael but she soon realizes she doesn't want to choose between the two of them.

Troy is devastated to find Summer missing and is determined to find her. He tracks her back to Michael's place and finds the two of them together. At first he is furious but then he realizes that he feels compelled to join them.

Michael, Summer and Troy are beginning to realize they all need each other in more ways than one and that being together might be the key to unlocking Summer's past and their future.
