These stories are great!
The moon dial, I have read three times and each time been taken in by the tension and twists. It had a great ending too.
The teller of stories was very atmospheric, it had unrequited love, superstition and was just spooky enough. Did what I think was going to happen happen? No! Meg manages to thwart the expected!
Crow Creek Road was another scary tale. This tale is in a theme I've never really wanted to explore and for good reason - the jogger - horrific!! I had a theory about this one but didn't want it to be true!
Alien Love Story, I went from curiosity to intrigue to sadness and then to understanding - so cleverly written and moving.
The elite was a terrific camp-fire story, lots of build up fear and emotion, with a twist at the end that made me say 'Oh!'
Tilly by the sea. What a way to end a collection. A brief glimpse into Tilly's life, another one that gets the emotions.
Fantastically written, enabling you to submerge yourself into something enthralling.
