5 - "Things worked out just the way they were supposed to..." Stars!
The relationship between Sawyer Fournette and Regan Lovell that has been on a high simmer through the previous two books in the series, finally gets bought to the fore in Till I Kissed You.
The Town Mayor of Cottonbloom, Mississippi and Parish Commisioner of Cottonbloom, Louisiana have more than a little history, and we are finally given the reasons as to why they went from lovers to frenemies, and now back to lovers.
The physical attraction was an inconvenient echo from their past lives together.
The mystery of the festival the saboteur comes to the fore in this one as well, when it turns out that some of the threats have been made towards Regan in particular and not just the towns in general, it sparks a reaction in Sawyer. They may not like each other very much for public perceptions, but the fact the woman he has never forgotten, and still cares very much for, is potentially at risk, brings all-sorts of protective (overly-so) alpha instincts out in Sawyer.
"How do we keep managing to get ourselves into these dark and secluded situations?"
Ten years have passed for this couple, and I loved the frenemies feel the author gave this one. Both of them are still nursing hurt from the pasts between them, but as they start to open up and talk more about what happened it appears that not everything was as it actually seemed at the time.
The years without his smile made her aware of how much she’d missed it. Missed him…
The sexual tension between the two of them was an off the charts sizzle throughout, I think I felt it more as these two have been battling with each other through the previous two books as well, and there actual coming together after seeing their friends and siblings find their happily every afters, was combustible, especially when they are both initially still trying to deny their attraction and feelings for each other haven’t ever really gone away in the last decade.
She didn’t need a light to find his lips. He’d been her constant for enough years that she could find her way to him even in the darkest night.

The boy she’d given her virginity and heart to so many years ago had turned into a man in every sense.
I feel like this series came and went in a flash what with all three books being released within months of each other. On the plus side, it was great to keep the stories and characters fresh in my mind as the gaps in-between were minimal. But on the negative, apart from the good news that we are getting a Christmas novella to round the series off, Cottonbloom is another town that Laura Trentham has taken me too and like its predecessor; Falcon, has left me with lots of happy memories, and hopes that there will be more visits at some point in the future.
"Some things never die, but they can change."
I cannot wait to see where she will take me next and who she will introduce me too on the journey.
"The future is all that matters."

Till I Kissed You is the icing on the Cottonbloom series cake and we finally get to discover just why there appears to be no love lost between Mayor of Cottonbloom, Regan Lovell and Parish Commissioner, Sawyer Fournette.
As with the previous books this couple have history and, despite ten years passing, there's unfinished business between Regan and Sawyer which has manifested into in a fiery, competitive, love-hate relationship. And when it begins to look like someone is holding a grudge towards Regan and her plans for the Labor Day festival she turns to Sawyer for help.
"This festival has obviously screwed with our ability to make rational decisions. We’ll either end up in bed together or committed by Labor Day."
The push pull between them was perfect and both Regan and Sawyer surprised me with their more vulnerable sides. Sawyer is a huge softie and the middle of the three Fournette siblings is the quieter one, the calm one and the glue, yet it's clear that the deaths of his parents and the loss of Regan had a huge affect on him. Regan grew up insecure with an overbearing mother, however she's a determined, stubborn woman, knocked off her feet again by the man who inadvertently hurt her. And their chemistry burns bright.
From the very start this was a captivating read with romance, passion and the wait to discover who is holding that grudge against Regan. It's always bittersweet when you come to the end of a series you've loved, and I've loved every single moment I've spent in Cottonbloom. Wherever Laura Trentham takes us next, I'll be there.

Loved this second chance romance between Reagan and Sawyer. Their story was the one I wanted to read ever since they were introduced in the first book.
As you know, I'm a sucker for a good second-chance romance trope, and Laura Trentham delivered a heartfelt one with Till I Kissed You.
The first time Reagan and Sawyer came together, you get a sense of doom. Everything is stacked against them. Sawyer was from the wrong side of the river, and had no business being in the same room let alone have a relationship with Reagan. The fallout was inevitable. There are many instances in romance where the couple breaks up for nonsensical reasons. While this book did have the "misunderstanding" device, it developed organically. Both were young and easily manipulated. Plus, Sawyer does have a big chip on his shoulder which made him an easy target for Reagan's meddling mother.
Their second at romance was very different from the first. Aside from the fact that they were now older, they've also lived a little. They're more aware and certainly more capable of handling adversity. I loved the contrast between the young Reagan and Sawyer and the present day, older and wiser, Reagan and Sawyer.
What didn't change though was their physical response to each other. The sexy times in this book was just perfect, and their chemistry was palpable.
Laura Trentham is someone I would highly recommend for readers who love sweet, small town romances. There's something about her writing and her characters that resonates with me. I definitely would recommend her books.

Till I Kissed You was such a good read.
Loved this second chance love story. Regan and Sawyer were wonderful characters that will touch your heart with their second chance love story. Sigh.... I loved these two.
Cottonbloom Novels series has been such a wonderful read, highly recommend all the books.

Laura Trentham is back with the final Cottonbloom romance, and if this tale doesn’t finally unite the divided cities, nothing will! Till I Kissed You is a sweet romantic’s dream. Two teens, immaturity and outside pressures tearing them apart before they truly understood what love is, years later, although technically “adults” their tumultuous ALMOST re-kindled affair is priceless.
Regan is now Mayor of Cottonbloom, MS and Sawyer is the Parish Manager for the parish that includes Cottonbloom, LA. They have managed to avoid contact for ten painful years, each harboring regret, loss and love. An upcoming festival competition pits both Cottonblooms against each other, but someone is putting forth a sincere effort to thwart Regan’s efforts to put her tiny town on tourist maps.
She may be in danger and Sawyer is determined he will protect her like he should have all those years ago. Till I Kissed You is a convoluted tale of second chance romance with the prominent theme being, “I love you,” (but I can’t tell you) and “I hate you,” (which seems to happen a lot). The sexual chemistry is as volatile as the gas can found in the quilting shop! BUT, the communication level is that of two kids refusing to give in first. Seriously? They are politicians! Words should flow easily, but if they did, where would the fun be in this light and quick read?
Laura Trentham’s romances are like the icing on the cake, the extra scoop of chocolate ice cream or a prefect summer day, wonderful to read without needing to work hard at what is going to happen next! This journey was by far, one of the best in her series, so if you like sweet romance, small town quirks and, well, love, welcome to Cottonbloom!

There is something about small town romance that has a way of capturing my heart. Maybe it’s the simplicity of the story, the raw heart-tugging emotions, or maybe it’s Laura Trentham beautiful prose. Well, it was all of the above.
Till I Kissed You by Laura Trentham is the third installment to the Cottonbloom Series and this time around Trentham continues to charm her readers with a second chance romance story line. Trentham continues to steal my heart and of her readers with her tangible, palpable, raw characters and stunning prose.
Right off the opening pages, readers are immersed in the push and pull relationship of Regan and Sawyer. The chemistry and sexual tension between these two could be felt and it was only a matter of time till these frenemies found themselves rekindling the love that they shared in the past. I love the underlying message that Trentham sprinkles throughout the story of love, forgiveness, and trust. And as Regan and Sawyer worked through their past and present, Trentham took her readers on a journey where emotions runs deep just like the river in Cottonbloom and where friendship and love are meant to go through their ups and downs but most importantly the loved shared between Regan and Sawyer were meant to be sticky and sweet like molasses.
Till I Kissed You is a love story that is full of heart, honesty, vulnerability and compassion. This is a love story where love is pure. This is a story where emotions runs deep and love transcends time and social status. So if you are looking for a love story that is brimming with beauty, second chances, and passion then I highly recommend you to read this book.

Before you read this book I can only recommend that you read the other two in the series.
Am I a fan of second chance romances? No.
Did this work for me? Yes.
Regan and Sawyer were sweethearts what they had was the real deal but with a lot of things in life it didn’t go as planned. Sawyer the swamp rat and Regan Lovell the sip couldn’t have come from more different worlds and yet they were the only ones they let their guards down around.
She would love Sawyer Fournette forever.
11 years later.
She hated Sawyer Fournette.
A lot has changed in eleven years. How do you get over the betrayal of the past? With great difficulty but if it is true then it will work out. The first cut of betrayal is always the deepest and the one that shall forever show a scar that will never cease to exist.
We experience how Sawyer and Regan try to deal with past hurts. Should they be buried in the past? But when it all boils down to it isn’t the past that counts but the future.
On top of that to improve Cottonbloom they have both entered the same competition. Heart of Dixie magazine caught wind of them both entering the festival to win the prize money. So what to do well pit the Louisiana Cottonbloom and the Mississippi Cottonbloom together and see what happens. Turns out a lot can happen in one summer. They wanted to play up the decades old rivalry.
In the end they team up together to find the culprit who is trying to sabotage both of the festivals.
Misunderstandings and immaturity but not fate had doomed them to nearly unhappiness. But they work it out. Even if it is hard and past hurts have to be put aside you know.
“I understand more than anyone what it is to protect yourself from being hurt. Just remember that living is laying your heart on the line for someone else to protect.”
I didn’t expect them to make each other jealous. Mistakes are made once again what had my blood boiling the most was that they could just have talked sooner but no lets our insecurities get in the way.
She had once been in love like Monroe. She had walked around pooping rainbows and smiling at rain. It was a once-in-a-life-time kind of thing, and she’d lost it.
Now I might compared to other reviewers be harsher but I’ll tell you exactly why I gave it 4 stars, Regan! Seriously woman what is your problem?
There were just some occurrences in the book where I could have smacked her.
She made exactly the same mistake as a grown woman as when she was a teenager and this is where I could have hit her. They pinkie swore. Pinkie swears are to be taken very seriously.
What she saw wasn’t what happened and well her mother is something else alright trying to stick a wedge between the two. In some ways Regan was still that teenage girl as well as Sawyer still being the teenage boy. Some have to fight tooth and nail for what they want. The echoes of the past are always strong especially when you live along the only person that you ever loved or in this case still love.
There are absolutely hilarious moments in the, it all comes back to the rabbit kafuffle. The pillow massacre but there are serious moments in the book as well there is the pavilion incident. The crayfish basket vandalism. A teensy weeny bit of B & E to keep things exciting.
“If I’m moving in, there’s one thing that has to change.” Her hand tightened. The gash on his arm throbbed. “What?” “I can’t handle living with all these pillows. I’m pretty sure they’re spawning.”
This is the end to a fantastic series and it went out on a bang. An emotional rollercoaster ride to a wonderful series. A farewell to a beautiful town filled with all sorts of characters. Not only is there a reuniting of the couples that are meant to be but a town that should have never split in the first place.
I couldn’t have said it better Sawyer. This reminds me of Friends with Ross & Rachel.
“Techically, you were on a break” Sawyer’s laugh was humourless. “That excuse has failed through the ages. I didn’t even attempt it.” Stand-up guy there Sawyer. He is a softy between the rough edges.
Even friends and family see what they can’t.
“Puh-lease. You are two are meant for each other. Like Romeo and Juliet. “They both died at the end. It was not a love story. “Okay bad example. How about Pretty Woman except she was a hooker. The Notebook? Wait, she lost her mind in the end, didn’t she? Never mind, you’ll write your own story. Like me and Cade.”
I would go all cougar on Jeremy. He has a chip on his shoulder and can’t seem to catch a break in life but I know his time will come. Ms. Trentham will give him all the love that he desires and needs.

There are absolutely hilarious moments in the, it all comes back to the rabbit kafuffle. The pillow massacre but there are serious moments in the book as well there is the pavilion incident. The crayfish basket vandalism. A teensy weeny bit of B & E to keep things exciting.
“If I’m moving in, there’s one thing that has to change.” Her hand tightened. The gash on his arm throbbed. “What?” “I can’t handle living with all these pillows. I’m pretty sure they’re spawning.”
This is the end to a fantastic series and it went out on a bang. An emotional rollercoaster ride to a wonderful series. A farewell to a beautiful town filled with all sorts of characters. Not only is there a reuniting of the couples that are meant to be but a town that should have never split in the first place.
I couldn’t have said it better Sawyer. This reminds me of Friends with Ross & Rachel.
“Techically, you were on a break” Sawyer’s laugh was humourless. “That excuse has failed through the ages. I didn’t even attempt it.” Stand-up guy there Sawyer. He is a softy between the rough edges.
Even friends and family see what they can’t.
“Puh-lease. You are two are meant for each other. Like Romeo and Juliet. “They both died at the end. It was not a love story. “Okay bad example. How about Pretty Woman except she was a hooker. The Notebook? Wait, she lost her mind in the end, didn’t she? Never mind, you’ll write your own story. Like me and Cade.”
I would go all cougar on Jeremy. He has a chip on his shoulder and can’t seem to catch a break in life but I know his time will come. Ms. Trentham will give him all the love that he desires and needs.
To get the creativity running I listened to Winning Streak by Glen Hansard. Bang Bang by Lawrence Taylor. 7 years old by Lukas Graham. Picture by Kid Rock featuring Sheryl Crow. Twist the Knife by Leslie Clio.

Finally, after months of circling each other warily Sawyer and Regan finally come to a head. With the festival competition fast approaching, a saboteur on the loose and the whole town watching, these two star crossed lovers have more than their emotionally complicated history to worry about.
This was a great way to bring this series full circle. I loved Regan and I loved Sawyer. Getting a glimpse into their past was both heart melting and emotionally charged.
Sawyer and Regan's love story was sexy and angsty. It was riddled with nostalgic moments and bittersweet memories as these two navigate their complicated past for a chance at a loving future.
Favorite Line
Till I Kissed You was another great read with funny banter, burning chemistry and lovable characters. I enjoyed returning to Cottonbloom and revisiting with Nash, Tally, Monroe and Cade. Although they make a few appearances they don't detract from the main couple, which was nice. I liked catching up with them but they stayed in the background. This story was 100% focused on Regan and Sawyer. It was a bittersweet second chance romance that had me laughing, crying, and voraciously reading the whole night through. The bleary eyes I suffered the next morning was worth it! This was such a good read!!!

After reading the first two books (Kiss Me That Way and Then He Kissed Me ) I knew I had to read this one. I had to find out who won the Labor Day Festival – Regan Lovell and her Mississippi side of Cottonbllom or Sawyer Fournette and his Lousianna side. The love/ hate relationship between these two hard headed characters made for an interesting read. The small mystery of who was trying to stop the festivals gave it enough intrigue that made it hard to put down this book.
I will admit that I think it ended things perfectly for me. I was quite pleased with the outcome and impressed that the story did not feel rushed in any way.
Till I Kissed You is the final installment of the Cottonbloom trilogy. This trilogy is a perfect way to read your summer away. I love the covers on all the books. I enjoyed reading them all and will be watching for future books by this gifted author!

Regan and Sawyer were high school sweethearts, but misunderstandings tore them apart. Now, years later, the festivals and a mysterious enemy bring them back together. The love they shared is still there, but they need to resume the trust and what's the better way to gain that then to work for the same goals together. Who wants to sabotage the festival? Can Regan and Sawyer finally solve the issues from the past to live happily ever after?
It's the third book in the series and I was looking forward to Regan and Sawyer's story. It did not disappoint at all, I've loved all books in the series. I really liked the romance between Regan and Sawyer, but I was also pleased with the mystery aspect, because it wasn't predictable and kept the story even more interesting. I'm happy that there's a novella coming out quite soon, can't wait to read a bit more about the characters.

I have been waiting for this book since I read the first in the series and I can say that it was everything I'd hoped for. Ms. Trentham saved the best for last and she certainly knows how to bring the heat. The chemistry between Sawyer and Regan blew the scale and the emotions that that have been simmering for so long just bubbled over.
The Mississippi river is not the only thing that separates Sawyer Fournette and Regan Lovell. It's their backgrounds and their shared history. In a community that has always distinguished between the haves and the have-nots, they were doomed from the start and in the ten years since their break-up, nothing has changed, not even their feelings for each other which have morphed into fierce competition and an openly antagonistic relationship.
With the upcoming festival in danger of being sabotaged and Regan receiving threatening messages, Sawyer gets an opening to ease his way back into her life, but with the unresolved issues between them, is this a smart choice or will it just push them further apart?
The appeal of Sawyer and Regan is that you can actually see a bit of yourself in them. Both hiding insecurities that have plagued them for most of their lives, both determined not to let their fears keep them down. Sawyer is the calm and quiet Fournette but the loss of his parents and everything that happened afterwards, including losing Regan left a big hole inside him. For Regan, her insecurity and a desire to please left her open to manipulation from her mom and only she had the power to break free of that cycle.
Apart Sawyer and Regan's relationship, I also loved the renewed bonds between Sawyer and his siblings, especially Cade who is such a far cry from the man he was when we first met him.
TILL I KISSED YOU is a mix of deep emotions, raw vulnerabilities and sweet romance that will keep a reader completely engaged and even though i have expressed a lukewarm interest in novellas, I would love it if Ms. Trentham wrote one to keep us updated on these couples.

Review: This has been the book I have been waiting for in this trilogy, ever since I read the blurb for it - who doesn't love a reconciliation romance full of friction, sexual tension and a muddy past?
When we meet Sawyer and Regan in previous books in the trilogy, they have always been arguing and accusing each other of underhanded deeds. By the start of this book, they have moved past that a bit to a mutual understanding that someone is trying to sabotage their festival plans. The build-up of sexual tension between them is greatly helped by the fact they conveniently seem to run into each other in various dark and cramped places in Cottonbloom but what I loved the most was how Sawyer was always there to protect Regan when they realised she was being targeted by the festival saboteur.
This was one of those books where I raced through it, eagerly awaiting every new interaction between Sawyer and Regan until they finally got together and accepted that their love for each other hadn't died but had just been lying dormant.
I am really sad that this series is over as I have fallen in love with Cottonbloom. I can't wait to see what Laura Trentham writes next!

Mayor Regan Lovell was doing everything she could to help her people as they strove to make things successful for an upcoming Labor Day festival. They were on the Mississippi side of Cottonbloom and they knew they gotta beat the other side of the river to win.
But when things started getting out of hand, like threatening letters, fire in the gazebo or trashed tomato gardens, Regan thought there was only one person who would likely do that. Sawyer Fournette. The man she had loved eleven years ago. The man who broke her heart. The man who still made her knees weak after all those years.
Sawyer still couldn't forget the woman who held his heart. He and Regan had a sour past and he wanted it to end. But how could he start something new with her when she believed he was responsible for all the sabotage that was happening in her turf. Would he ever gain her trust again?
I can't believe this has been the end of a series. And man, it ended with a bang! I felt sad for Sawyer and his pains, I pitied Regan and her mommy issues, I devoured them both when they struggled to be together and I cried when their hopes started to fall apart.
The flow of the story was beautiful and engaging and hot. I loved all the strange feelings I felt while reading the book. The characters stepped up their games making this summer story of second chances a really great read. Till I Kissed You was able to deliver one heck of a punch to my heart and sent me flying over the river. I didn't think it would end like this. I was thoroughly surprised by the turn of events and I loved it. Had me teary eyed, even. Laura Trentham has clearly outdone herself with this last book. Yay!

Finally we get Regan and Sawyer's story and it's exceptional! Whether you've been reading the series all along or if your just picking this one up you will enjoy reading about these two. This is the third book in the series but is easily read standalone! As both sides of Cottonbloom get geared up for the upcoming festival competition, things are getting out of hand and it seems getting personal. Regan is receiving threats and of all people to help her find out who's behind the threats, Sawyer Fournette comes to her aid. They have a history. One that ended in a not so pretty fashion but now needs to be dealt with. Will these two be able to put an end to the threats and pull of the festivals?? You definitely want to read this one and find out. I highly recommend it.

The least favorite of mine in the Cottonbloom series so far. I don't know whu but I've really connected and enjoyed the chemistry between Cade and Monroe in Kiss Me That Way yet I struggled with this book, unfortunately.
Hopefully it'll better with the others. Can't wait!

It is always a bit sad when you come to the end of a series. Till I kissed You is the 3rd and final book in the Cottonwood series, but I do hope that somewhere down the line we do get to revisit.
To me this was the best in the series. There is just something about Regan and Sawyer that spoke to me.
I love a good second chance romance, and this love-to hate-to lover story was all that and more
Maybe it was the fact that even though it had been years since they had been together, they never really had that distance since they lived across the bridge from each other? That might be what made their relationship more intense than the others in the series.
They toed that very fine line between love and hate, but all those years snipping at each other just felt like extended foreplay!
Till I Kissed You is full of spark and snark. There is heat and tension, with a bit of a whodunnit trown in there for good measure.
Cottonwood was a fun, sweet, sexy and moving series, and I can't wait to see what Ms Trentham brings us next.

Till I Kissed You is the 3rd in Laura Trentham's Cottonbloom series and the first that I've read. But I will say I'm already halfway through book one and I'm adoring it. So although this is a series, these books can be read as standalones. Here's what I know - they are fantastic sweet second chance romances set in a fictional township that's split by state lines. There's Cottonbloom , Mississippi and Cottonbloom, Louisiana and both are inhabited by families that sometimes get along and sometimes don't. The series centers the Fournette's who seem to have found a place in my heart. Till I Kissed You is Sawyer Fournettes' story, with his world being upended as his first and only love, Regan Lovell, find cause to be in each others life after a decade of avoiding each other.
Most of us think that the oppostite of love is hate, and that is just how Regan and Sawyer feel about each other. Both powerful emotions, the only thing that would indicate they don't really like each other is apathy, but that's not the feeling that they draw out of each other. Nope, what they have is powerful . While Regan resides and is mayor in Cottonbloom, MS, while Sawyer lives on the "river rats" side in LA, this alone puts them at odds. Always has and always will. But Regan and Sawyer are electric. They have a distinct chemistry that makes reading about them and their confused state of emotions ( for each other) both fun and heartbreaking.
What keeps them always in each others lives is the rivalry between the 2 towns. What drives them back together is a little mystery surrounding threats to Regan about one of the very things that pushes this rivalry. It's a great plot driver as Sawyer's alpha-ness is played up. But the history between them is long and things ended badly. I love the intensity level of their history. High school sweethearts making life-long plans breakup and neither seem to have moved on, not really. Trentham gives us both sides of their history and neither can be faulted for their actions/reactions.
It's a joy to be in Regan's head, reading what she thinking, sometimes saying and sometimes not saying. And Sawyer, he's a sweetheart and sexy as all get out. But he makes some bonehead moves that left me shaking my head thinking "badly done Sawyer". In these moments I felt the sting of tears prick the back of my eyes for Regan (okay so once or twice I let loose with some big tears that ran down my cheeks). As a sucker for second chance romance I can tell you that Trentham gives us all the happy and sad emotions as two people fight emotions from the past to create a new happy place ( including a few moments of Sawyers' and Regans' steamy re-connection).
I've travelled through both states and with Trentham's writing I can easily picture this charming little town and the hospitable people. Till I Kissed You is a wonderful read that's well plotted with easy to adore characters. In the end it made me immensely happy and clamoring to read books 1 and 2. 4.5 Stars and Recommendation!

Second chance romances are my absolute favorite reading trope! I love that the characters have a past and I love seeing how they’ve changed and learned from their mistakes. I think it makes the romance richer and deeper and that much more special.
Regan and Sawyer were high school sweethearts…but they had to keep their love a secret because Regan’s mom didn’t approve of Sawyer. Even though Sawyer was a high school sports star, popular and handsome, he had a huge secret: he and his brother and sister were living in poverty. Having to get clothes and food from the local church charity and his oldest brother dropping out of school to support the family after their parents died was a something Sawyer refused to speak about. Not even with Regan.
Regan and her parents were wealthy and lived on the “good” side of Cottonbloom, Mississippi. Regan’s mom was living vicariously through her and Sawyer Fournette was not in the plans. She did everything she could to separate the pair, including exploiting her daughter’s doubts about the future she had with Sawyer. Needless to say, the breakup was monumental and devastated both Regan and Sawyer, causing irreparable damage and feelings of animosity, opposition, resentfulness and extreme hatred. Years later, those feelings have only increased and have become more inflamed as Regan and Sawyer battle it out for some well-needed prize money for their communities.
Regan and Sawyer are the perfect antagonists. Almost comical in their arguments, the pair face off several times in the series as well as in this book. What is not comical is the genuine pain that both characters are suffering from. When town pranks turn into serious sabotages and threats, Sawyer puts aside his animosity to protect Regan. As they spend more time together, Regan and Sawyer start to fall in love again…only to figure out, they never stopped loving each other!
Laura Trentham has quickly become a favorite author of mine. Her stories are heartfelt, funny and full of love. Regan and Sawyer’s story was tough to read but their love for one another superseded all the pain and heartache of the past. I loved them and all the people of Cottonbloom. I hope there are more books in the series because I’d love to spend more time in this wonderful community!

Regan and Sawyer are the perfect antagonists. Almost comical in their arguments, the pair face off several times in the series as well as in this book. What is not comical is the genuine pain that both characters are suffering from. When town pranks turn into serious sabotages and threats, Sawyer puts aside his animosity to protect Regan. As they spend more time together, Regan and Sawyer start to fall in love again…only to figure out, they never stopped loving each other!
Laura Trentham has quickly become a favorite author of mine. Her stories are heartfelt, funny and full of love. Regan and Sawyer’s story was tough to read but their love for one another superseded all the pain and heartache of the past. I loved them and all the people of Cottonbloom. I hope there are more books in the series because I’d love to spend more time in this wonderful community!

Finally Regan and Sawyer!! These two are a hoot. You finally find out what happened to tear them apart and what finally happens to bring them back together again.
But will a common enemy be enough to unite them—and finally fulfill the promises they made one passionate night under the stars?
Once again spot on blurb. Regan and Sawyer broke each others hearts not one thing alone tore them apart but a series of things. Someone is out to keep both towns from throwing their festivals. Regan has been getting threatening letters and someone more recently someone tried to poor herbicide on her Mother's prize winning tomatoes. Regan has a crazy idea of who it might be but the only person she can trust not to think she's gone crazy is the only other person deeply invested in the festival, Sawyer.
Sawyer has finally gotten the chance to explain to Regan what happened all those years ago. Sawyer's plan is two sided he wants to stop the saboteur and win over Regan again. But it's not just the saboteur he's dealing with but the snobbish and hateful mother.
Overall, this was a great way to end. I loved the book. I loved the characters. I loved the series. It one of those that makes you go awwwww at the end.

This was a nice second-chance-at-love. H/h were very young when they were together and allowed insecurities to break them up, hero was too aware he was from the wrong side of the tracks, heroine allowed her mother's influence to make her break up with him and when she tried to undo that she misunderstood a situation and didn't allow him a chance to explain. Both of them have been working against each other because of the town festival but when the hero smells danger directed towards the heroine he is there for her and in the interim they get to know each other as adults. I liked the progress of their relationship and am glad to see all the three siblings get their HEA.

After all those teasing hints and highly charged run ins from the first two books, Sawyer and Regan's story definitely lived up to my expectations! This was a perfect second chance romance! Regan's sassy spirit meshed well with Sawyer's quiet strength, but the real draw was watching these two deal with hurtful misunderstandings from their youth. I'm utterly hooked on the Cottonbloom series!

Perfect wrap-up to the series. Sawyer and Reagan have loved and hated one another for so long they hardly know where to start. Pitted against one another in a competition of festivals, they find themselves with a common enemy and the sparks fly.

This was my favorite book of the series so far. I mean after all the drama between Sawyer & Regan in the first two books, we knew this one was going to be good. I'm happy to say the drama continues in this one, albeit a little different since Sawyer and Regan aren't up to their antics again. Instead, there is someone trying to sabotage Regan and make her stop the festival. So in comes Sawyer to the rescue.
Regan & Sawyer were high school sweethearts, but a lack of communication and a misunderstanding broke them apart when Sawyer was in college. Regan was the rich beauty queen and Sawyer was the poor kid. They are from 'opposite sides of the tracks' but they still made/make a great couple.
I liked how Sawyer was so protective of Regan even though she wanted nothing to do with him. He was there for her even when she didn't know he was around. Regan and Sawyer both fail to communicate their feelings quite often in this book and it's very annoying. But I get that their insecurities kept them from believing the other could love someone like them. When they finally do communicate though, they're an unstoppable team that deserves all the love and success they receive.
The festival finally happens in this book and I loved how it all came together. Everyone gets their HEA and we get some updates on the previous couples as well to wrap up the Fournette family of books. I'm looking forward to more of the Cottonbloom series.

I received this book as a giveaway from probably Bookstr (probably when it was still called The Reading Room).
I wish I could give this book 6 stars. It transported me to Cottonbloom on every page. The characters were very real and headstrong and definitely made for each other-if only they stopped assuming they knew what the other was thinking! I'm definitely going to have to find the other books in this series and I hope they work even after reading book 3 first. Laura Trentham is a fantastic writer. I look forward to reading more from her. I also have to say that the more intimate scenes were very well done. A lot of romance novels either make things too graphic or just plain awkward. This book's intimate scenes fit in the story and were very well executed. Overall I loved this book. I can't believe I let it sit on my shelf for so long.

Till I Kissed You is the third book in what I hope won't be the last in the Cottonbloom series. Laura has been teasing us with Regan and Sawyer since book 1, and Till I Kissed You doesn't disappoint. This small town contemporary romance and high school sweethearts who became adversaries bordering on enemies because of unfortunate events that happened eleven years ago have separated the couple. Till I Kissed You brings their past up so they can confront it and finally move on in order to be together.
Regan grew up in the lap of luxury as a former teen pageant beauty because of her mother. She lived on the effluent side of town. But her heart belonged to Sawyer, aka an orphaned swamp rat who unlike his older brother, excelled in school and tried to do the best he could under the circumstances he was in. In high school Regan and Sawyer had a secret love affair ala Romeo and Juliet. They were very much in love, until Sawyer went to college and Regan caught him cheating, or so she assumed. Also because Regan's mother was dead set against Sawyer, they parted ways, and both were filled with anger and hurt towards one another, which lasted for over a decade or more.
Now Regan is the mayor of Cottonbloom, her hometown, as well as running a design business. She's till at odds with Sawyer, who is the parish commissioner. They're both trying to win a contest a magazine is running in order to win a grant to help the town, but that money would be used for certain sections of the community. Whoever has the best festival wins. Regan is in a tough position because the town seems against her because they don't like change and she may have to raise taxes. Sawyer is more respected because he has a great reputation because he's done incredible things ih his life. His swamp rat life has been long forgotten, and along with his older brother and sister, the Fournette siblings have become a beloved member of the community.
Regan and Sawyer swipe at one another and play little pranks on one another, such as Sawyer dropping rabbits in Regan's mother precious tomato garden. Regan retaliates in kind, but nothing too dangerous or life threatening. Sawyer finds out and his protective instincts flare, which causes confusion because he shouldn't care for Regan. But his love for the only woman who stole his heart is still as strong as the day he met her. Regan also realizes her feelings for Sawyer still remains. But can they move past their hurt and forgive in order to have a future together, as well as trying to find the culprit out to ruin the festival and everything Regan has worked so hard for?

You want to wrap him in a big hug because he's parched for Regan, who wants him as bad, but again their past and their hurts have taken over. These two are so stubborn, but once Sawyer sees Regan is in danger, his protective feelings rev up and he is now on a mission to protect his woman at all costs.

Regan Lovell and Sawyer Fournette's complicated past is a major factor in their tempestuous relationship in the present. Their teenage romance ended due to parental interference and a major misunderstanding and although they have avoided one another for years, Regan and Sawyer are joining forces to discover who is trying to sabotage their upcoming festivals. They are currently embroiled in a heated competition to win the contest that would provided much needed funds for projects for the winner's town. Every time they seem to make progress in putting their animosity behind them, their unresolved issues and personal baggage put Regan and Sawyer at odds time and again.
Regan is the mayor of the Mississippi side of Cottonbloom which is much more affluent than the Louisiana side. In addition to her mayoral duties, she also owns a thriving interior design business. Regan is down to earth, smart and dedicated to improving conditions for her town. She is a little unreasonable when it comes to her failed romance with Sawyer and she is quick to blame him for the vandalism that seems to be targeting the upcoming festival. Their previous relationship remains a sore spot for both of them but until they discuss the most troubling aspects of their break up, misunderstandings frequently arise.
Sawyer is charming, persuasive and well-liked by most everyone who knows him. Although he has come a long way from his humble childhood, he has never quite gotten over feeling like he is not good enough for Regan. While he has put the most of these insecurities behind him, he is surprised when these uncomfortable emotions return and he is never quite certain where he stands with Regan now they are back on speaking terms. Sawyer and Regan frequently walk on egg shells trying to maintain the fragile truce between them. This sometimes leads to each of them jumping to conclusions about the other and their relationship remains quite volatile.
As Sawyer and Regan spend time together, both of them are surprised by the resurgence of those long ago feelings. There is plenty of sexual tension between them and their intense attraction results in some explosive encounters. However, as soon as their passion is sated, uncertainty returns since there is little in depth communication between them. Old hurts and misunderstandings lead to some ugly scenes as Sawyer and Regan lash out in anger which then leads to a cycle of making and breaking up.
