Rate this book

This was an ok book, but I don't think I would ever recommend it as an introductory text on epistemology. There is no real breadth of topics covered. It is mostly focused on the internalism/externalism debate.

3.5 stars. A brief intro to the topic, which is not a criticism. In a subject where most author’s are ridiculously verbose and wonderingly driven by caveats, Fumerton keeps it generally short and concise. Sure, it is not particularly deep in some areas - not enough to be “comprehensive” on the topic. However, it is the broad-strokes in a highly readable fashion, something not always true of epistemology titles.

What I learned from this book: The same thing I learned in Epistemology class....that nobody is sure about how they know what they know so, JUDGE NOT!
I didn't give the book any stars because; how can one rate by stars a school tex-book?

this book expounds what is possibly the most clear and correct views of contemporary epistemology that are accessible to beginners.
