Easy to understand the step by step directions! Love the patterns! Want more! Great for beginners and semi pros. Wish the pictures of patterns were larger.
Young kids would really enjoy this book. Recommend this book to all eager to learn to knit. I loved it!
This book did a great job of explaining and showing the different needles and yarns used in knitting. Also good pictures of what finished stitches and designs would look like, but once again, a learn to knit book totally failed in the basics. I have been knitting for 50 years and have all kinds of pattern books. The two stitches a knitter needs to know in order to create 100's of other stitches, is the knit and purl stitch. The pictures don't show how to do either. Just showed completed stitches. The author did show a multi diagram picture of how to caste on and bind off, but if a beginner doesn't know how to actually knit, what good is this book. BEGINNER KNITTERS. BUY A LEARN TO KNIT BOOK FROM ONE OF THE BIG CRAFT STORES. YOU WILL ACTUALLY LEARN HOW TO KNIT!!!!! I was given this book for an honest review.
