I’m a husband and author, and I may be a little religious about both. I like writing hot sex and encapsulating it in the delicate white silk of devotion, commitment, and psychotic obsession.

ANOTHER MIND BLOWING MASTERPIECE OF AMAZEMENT AND AWE!! Lucian has knocked it out of the park with this sequel! SG2 starts right off where SG1 ended. Poe and Charlotte aka Contessant are sent to Octava through the portal. The visuals that Lucian takes you through had me wanting to draw out the images I saw! The situations they were thrown into had me on the edge of my seat and needing to know what happens. There were so many amazing characters in this book. Sabre is absolutely amazing. Such a kindhearted man who would do anything for Contessant. Valentine is fantastic. His brooding had me in stitches. The queen was incredible. She was so sweet and really cares for Octava and wants to save it. Now Mr. Buckles is the most intriguing character I have met. He really is mysterious and has me craving more of him and his story. There were parts that ripped my heart out, someone stomped on it, and then put it back in my chest. Talk about wanting to scream and throw my kindle. The tears were flowing. Damn you Lucian :). This book was so worth the wait and I plan on reading this series over and over again. Thank you Lucian for being my favorite Scribbler and taking us on the journeys you do. BOOM!!

I just finished reading the most incredible story, book two of Scribbler Guardian..Here I thought, that the first book was impressive, it was in its own right, but this one took it far out in the universe.... it's hard to describe this type of magical wonder. But I'll try. It is most definitely a fantasy but so so much more. I can just imagine living in Octava. Where you become enchanted with each individual character that has their own unique qualities. You find yourself embracing this mythical tale.. Where you discover the extraordinary realms, a literary kingdom, unlike anything you could've ever imagined. Where you explore and go on a adventure that truly is astounding. I found myself getting lost in Octava...being drawn in, experiencing the "whole new world" through the eyes of this writer. I don't like giving any part of the story away..but the last chapter of this book, gave me chills.. the good kind. It truly is amazing when you can almost experience what is being imparted on you.. So yeah, read it and discover for yourself.. Your own Octava!

EPICLY INTENSE!
OMG Bane has done it again! This second book in the Scribbler Guardian series is beyond words LITERALLY!
It begins where Scribbler Guardian left off with Jeremiah Poe and Charlotte (his scribbler) entering a realm that is not known to Charlotte. We get to meet several new characters, Valentine, Sabre, Mr. Buckles OH AND A FEW SURPRISE characters!!!!! We get to fall deeper into the Octava story’s and how each scribbler is connected and what astounds me is how Mr. Bane even came up with this concept of how each of the stories published and just “written in the fabric of our minds” affects all the characters.
This review is so hard to write because if I mention anything further it will ruin it for other readers so my advice is GET THE BOOK and get transported to a fantasy story that is nothing like you have ever read or will read!

Gasp Worthy

I kept thinking. "How will Lucian outdo the vision of Scribbler 1?" He raised the bar without a doubt with Scribbler 2. Every scene I felt and saw perfectly in my head as if I was pulled into this world of performing arts. Book genres of every type. Characters of horror, hilarity or something you would envision with any book you've ever read. His charters sucked you in with each of their personalities, powers and visual explanations. The relationship that was being built between Poe and his "Scribbler" that had so many pen names but was only known to Poe as his Contessant Juliette was so beautiful to read. The ending was something that could only be topped by your imagination. It was such a majestic ride of fantasy and "gasp-worthy" moments that left me wanting Scribbler Guardian 3 yesterday!

Lucian is the Master Scribbler!!!!!
This book was worth every bit of the wait. I just cannot get enough of the sweet and endearing Jeremiah Poe....He is so in love with and loyal to his Scribbler Contessant. The new characters OMG I love love love Valentine and Sabre!!!!!!
This book makes you laugh out loud, shout WTH, makes you cry, shout WTF and then say OMG!!!!! As usual Lucian has beautifully written this story to make you feel so invested in it all, laugh, cry and outrage on behalf of them all. You even see some big surprises!
The setting is described to such perfection you can completely see it all in your mind no guessing and the characters spring off the pages at you full of life...
I think everyone I know needs to read this series, before the next epic book comes out!

Lucian really brought the BOOM with this book! This book brings Poe and his Scribbler back for an adventure in Octava. Along with them is a few new people of Octava, Sabre & Valentine, also a few others. I'm not giving anything away. You just need to read it. I never saw this coming. Mr. Bane has lots of talent, this series definitely needs to be a movie! I feel like I can not get the right word to describe it. I cried once and had to wait about five minutes before I could start back. Then came the happy tears. My emotions were everywhere. It was mind blowing. You don't want to miss reading this book/series!

Lucian has done it again with this second installment of the Scribbler. It's like a story within a story. In the first book I fell in love with Poe and the Scribbler. In the second book I fell in love with Sabre and Valentine. This story brings out so many emotions, I laughed, cried and was excited to read more. The story was so well written I felt like I was right in the story with them. A must read for the fantasy lover in all of us.

My first question was "How does Lucian top a book like The Scribbler Guardian?"
My answer was "He writes Scribbler Guardian 2!"
WOW!!! DAMN!!!
This isn't just another book in another series - this is an extension of the original!!!!
Poe and Contessant (his Scribbler) are back, and they have brought along a few new friends, namely Sabre, Valentine, The Queen and of course Mr Buckles.
These characters are all endearing in their own special ways.
Poe is in love and will do anything to protect his Scribbler, and I mean anything.
This book left me speechless, unable to form even a distinctive sound.
It is so much more than just a book - it is an experience - one that should never be missed.
The ending was just indescribable - DAMN you Mr Bane!!!!

Stunning

I'm not sure quite where to begin. Amazingly complex characters? Of course, and you'll love them. A plot that takes off at record pace and keeps going, rocketing you toward the conclusion with a pace that will leave you breathless? Certainly, and the twists and turns will keep you entranced throughout. At the end of this second book of the series, I'm left with only one thought--more. More Poe, more "Charlotte," and mostly more scribbling! I continue to be amazed at the content and context of this series. Each time I feel I've got a handle on this strange and delightful realm, I'm shifted just off center and left with an almost frantic need to read just a bit more...just one more page, one more chapter, always more, knowing that each interval draws me closer to the end and yet unable to slow down. This, in my world, is the mark of a truly great author. Lucian Bane promises his readers the world, and this series delivers on every level. Keep scribbling Lucian, I for one can't wait for the next in the series.

Incredible!!!

I'm having a hard time putting into words how I feel about this story. Maybe I'll begin right there. This story made me FEEL! By feel I mean, my emotions were completely engaged. I cared what happened to Poe and Charlotte. I didn't feel like I was a voyeur. I felt like I was walking beside them sharing their EVERY emotion. That in my opinion is what makes this story incredible. Mr. Bane shows us his brilliance in creating this world and being able to make us see all that he sees. But he didn't stop there, he created this world in such a way that encourages us to ask questions and see the different possibilities.

I need to be careful and not say too much. I will say, if you want a story that encourages you to think about the what ifs then this is the story to read. I challenge you all to read this and NOT feel. I'm pretty confident I will be winning this challenge!!

Lucian Bane has become one of my fave authors as well as this series is on of my favorites of his! I loved this book! Continuing where the first book left off. I love how Lucian brings so much character into the story with the characters bringing laughter and even some tears in a wild adventure in what I would almost say is like the story of Alice in Wonderland. So many wild and crazy things happen that make you feel so many different emotions. I laughed, cried and was even a little scared. This will be a great movie! A fantasy of one I have never read or even thought of. Will read again and look forward to the next chapter. xo

Brilliant!

Wow! Lucian Bane is a brilliant writer so many twist and turns. I fell in love with love Poe and the Scribbler and the rest of the Characters. I laughed, cried and was rooting for them. Lucian really took me to a galaxy far away. I kept rereading this book trying to figure out how this Authors imagination works and all I can come up with is he is very talented and his foresight is out of this world. If you enjoying reading paranormal fantasies this book is for you. Thank You Lucian Bane another great book!!!

Oh Mr. Bane, what a ride SG2 takes us on. I swear you were not only making Poe crazy in the beginning but me as well. I thought I had an idea where book 2 was going, um yeah, no. Lucian Bane's writing is a feast for my visual imagination. I love authors who can paint with words. Makes me wish I was artistic enough to put them on canvas. The new characters you introduce us to are wonderful, filled with energy and snarky enthusiasm. Poe is still #1 book boyfriend though. Like a lemming I have followed you off the (proverbial) cliff to the end, need book 3!!!!!

THIS SERIES NEEDS TO BE MADE INTO A MOVIE!!!! I can only imagine sitting in a movie theatre, popcorn and Dr. Pepper at my disposal, looking up at that big screen and seeing Octava, in all its glory with all of the characters from Lucian's brilliant, fantastical mind there. It would be complete epicness!

The first Scribbler Guardian totally blew me away. I couldn't imagine feeling that same sense of awe with the second book. After all, I was familiar with the realm and the characters, or so I thought. But of course Lucian would never settle for just reintroducing the familiar characters and setting this story in the same old places. The new characters he's invented for Scribbler Guardian 2 are extraordinary, to say the least. (He's even given some of them their own companion-to-the-series books.) Why, even the trees have more personality than a lot of people I know. And the settings, they would be such visual delights if we could see them outside of our mind's eye, on that big screen. Luckily, Lucian has used his descriptive powers to enable us to envision the beautiful, and sometimes scary, places on Octava that Poe and his Contessant must travel to in their quest to stop the wars being incited in the realms. This fantasy is no fairy tale! The struggles taking place on Octava are comparable to scenes witnessed in some of the great fantasy movies. *nervously grabs handfuls of popcorn thinking of a few scenes in the book that raised my blood pressure*.

My very favorite feature about this series is the layering of stories written into the novels and imagined as your read them. It is almost beyond comprehension to think of all of the stories within the story, contained in the books. The whole story becomes multidimensional, creating imaginative possibilities that only Lucian can control and contain, which in my opinion is not an easy task. So, bravo to Lucian for writing a story worthy of not only hundreds of review stars, but one that deserves a place on the big screen!

Scribbler Guardian 2 is the continuation of the tale that began when we met Jeremiah Poe and Charlotte in The Scribbler Guardian. The book starts just where the first left off as Poe and Charlotte leave earth and arrive in Octava. I won't give details because reading and getting lost in this magical world is a very large part of it's appeal. Lucian Bane has a gift. He writes in a such a way that you are not merely reading about the story, you are walking along with the characters, living and breathing it with them. Mr. Bane has offered an epic tale full of amazingly intricate characters and a plot that sucks you in and keeps you there. Lucian's deft hand at combining humor and intensity makes for a roller coaster type ride within his world.

It is not often that I read a book that doesn't fade as the last page is turned and the book closed. I often find myself trying to remember what it was that I read the night before. It's not that the stories are uninteresting or the writing bad but they are little packages tied up and neat. Scribbler Guardian on the other hand, is so complex with hidden messages and clues, little bits that tease that there is more beneath the surface, that it stays with you long after the last page appears. I ended this book turning questions over in my head, trying to decipher the deeper meanings that I got peeks of, trying to follow the trail of bread crumbs to the answers that are there but yet to be revealed.

This is NOT a stand alone novel. You must to read The Scribbler Guardian first. This is also not the end, though not a cliffhanger. This part of the tale is complete. The next book is just the next destination of the journey.

The Scribbler is a unique read dwelling into the world of Octava, a world that will have you intrigued from beginning to end. It plunges right into where it left off of the last book. This one was tough to write I'm not sure why but, maybe because it seems to tap into multiple genres or the uniqueness of the story. I'm definitely intrigued to try another book by Lucian Bane.

Poe is a unique character and accomplishes what he set out for. There's twist and turns that makes the suspense implacably interesting. There are new characters interdicted that gives it another edge. The plot thickens and weaves it's way into your mind with connections of each character and how they're lives play a role. You're able to follow along with the descriptive so of each character as the author explains just a touch to give you an over all picture.

As you witness this unique blend of tales unfold, you begin to see the uniqueness of this story. It's humorous yet intriguing to its core. It's humorous yet suspenseful and inviting. There's little teasers through out that leaves clues and makes you pause in thought wondering way after you've turned your kindle off for the night. The craziness leaves you in wonder for sure.

The author writing flowed effortlessly off the page. You could imagine yourself with in the story. That's no easy task for such an avid reader. The mundaneness of stories become the same 'MO' and you began to get bored but with Lucian's story this is so not the case. It seeps into ever fiber of your being. I would definitely recommend this book and series to anyone

DANG!!!!! I'M WORE OUT######

Poe and Charlotte end up in Octava. But she's a man unless he touches her , but she can't handle his touch. Oh boy. She,, thank god,,,ends up back in her body. Because she is an author of so many different genres. On Octava, all her characters find out their Scribbler is there and end up knocking on Poes door. Their not happy! She's not a HEA , kind of author. Her characters want their loved ones back, that she killed off. So she promises that she'll rewrite their stories.
All they know is they need to get to the queen, and so their journey begins. We get to meet a few new characters and this will make you LOL with their interactions between them.

Could you imagine??? Everything an author writes..... Ends up real... In another world.... This is the journey that Mr. Bane takes his readers on.

I took a paragraph from this book, that best explains this world of Octava.

You among all that has been Scribbled. Whether written on paper, or written on the fabric of the mind, or written on the very skin of the universe via the breath of life. You are far from blind here. The story is already inside you. The words are all there, dancing to the choreography divine in them. The song is being sung, the picture has been painted. Heaven has ordained it, Hell has exploited it and Octava is the progeny of these great things. And you, dear Scribbler are the conductor of that existence. ......BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN.

Go on the ride, take the journey to Octava…you won’t be disappointed!

Pictures painted perfectly by a Master Scribbler. There is so much that goes on in this world that I feel like I have to re-read it again to catch details I may have missed. To be honest, I think I felt a bit “lost” (in a good way) for a good portion of the book because I was wondering where it was going. Where were we being led, what roles do all these new characters play in this continuation where we find Poe and Charlotte not on Earth but on Octava.

Lucian has made an art form of building…pausing…building…simmer…building…pausing….then BOOM - get towards the end of the book, a frenetic pace of craziness that leaves you breathless, and your head spinning, and thinking – what is happening here, OMG!

The imagery created by his words are crystal clear, I can see everything happening as if *I* were a character standing alongside all the goings-on. You will find yourself on a wild adventure, laughing, crying, and wishing you could actually be there to witness it all.

This is not a standalone book. It is a series worth reading….now the wait for book 3 and it will be well worth the wait!

BOOM! You have blown my mind Lucian yet again. WOW. I love these characters even more than I did before.  Didn't think it was humanly possible.  I am crossing everything I can that this series becomes a movie.
The way you can take words and play them in my mind. How vivid you make every aspect of the story. I said it with SG1 but it's like when I watched The Neverending Story as a kid for the first time. Complete awe and you do the exact same with words. I saw Valentine in perfect form, met Sabre who I fell in love with, and felt every wonderful emotion. I have never experienced a book like this.
I hung on every word and detail in the Scribbler books. They bring the adult version of those classic tales we all loved as kids. I think it's the world you create in this story. Like stepping through Alice's looking glass you can't help but be transported.
So I guess what I am saying is thank you for bringing us the magic in your wizardly words.  This entire story must be savored and I mean, every single word.

5 Stars are not enough...

You will laugh, you will cry... And you will love this book! The Scribbler Guardian is unlike any story that has ever been told, exploring the relationship between our world and the Scribbler's (author's) world. It made me think about fiction in a way I had never before, exploring the contrast between what's right and wrong, and the upmost importance of fighting for the good against all odds. Add the beautiful love story between the scribbler, Charlotte, and her creation, Poe, and the infinite possibilities when their two worlds collide, and work together for the good. What if we are not writing our destinies as we think, but are being influenced by other entities? Definitely something to ponder... Thank you L Bane! You have definitely outdone yourself once again!

Whoever said sequels are never as good as the originals has obviously never read this book!! Lucian Bane has gone above and beyond with this beautiful series, and has given us another book that once you start, you can't put down!
Poe and his Scribbler, Contessante are so sweet together, you can't help but fall in love with them! We meet some new characters as well, I absolutely loved Sabre!! Valentine was pretty hot too! LOL. This book is more fast paced than the first one, it will have you laughing, crying and biting your nails! Definitely a must read! This is a sequel, you need to read Scribbler Guardian first, and there is also another sequel coming, but you're not left with a big cliffhanger either, thankfully.
Now Mr. Bane, please hurry with SG3!!!

Long awaited, does not disappoint!

After reading the first Scribbler Guardian, I was really bummed to wait (I'm such an instant gratification person in this day and age), but so glad for the anticipation generated. This book has laughter, sadness, excitement, danger, and some awesome covert additions! I peeled through it in one day; the emotional cyclone evident with outburst of laughter and tears within the same hour... To avoid spoilers I shall digress and just say BOOM! You surely did it again, Mr Bane!

This fantastic world needs to be set right and Jeremiah Poe, his Scribbler and a few select others are bound to get it there. Jeremiah continues with his numerous set of tasks in SG2. Where I thought things were headed, BOOM, not so much, Mr Bane does what he does best, SURPRISE!

Another wonderfully written story that had me on the edge of my seat, in tears in a couple spots and thinking OOH NO PLEASE TELL ME YOU DID NOT Mr Bane. I can't wait for the next book.
This series is one that I wish we had more than 5 stars.

The intriguing and captivating story continues in book two of this fantastic series. Jeremiah Poe finds himself back in Octavia, with his beloved Scribbler, Contessant by his side. A realm that Contessant is not familiar with and forces that are determined that war will rage, this story delivers a twisting and exciting plot which held me prisoner to my kindle until the end. Well Done Mr Bane, another outstanding tale and I cannot wait for the next book.
