Another really good entertaining spanking book by Renee Rose. This time the backdrop is the middle ages during the time of the Crusades. Lady Camilla's castle and lands are under siege and Sir Balen and his army comes in and runs them off. There is attraction between the two, but Lady Camilla's husband is off fighting in the Crusades and has been gone for 8 years.
I really love reading Renee's books, but I'm hoping that more of them go on sale or get released via Kindle Unlimited. If they all were I would've read all her books because I love her OTT alpha male spanking stories.

Savage Knight
Camilla was firing off arrow after arrow. She was trying to defend her Castle from her neighbor. No one knows that her husband has been dead for six months in the Great War. He had been gone for eight years and she had to rule by herself. But it looked like the castle would fall apart this time. Then as she saw an army battle against her invaders, she saw Sir Balen. And the conflict began. You will have to read the book. I found it most enjoyable and interesting. I recommend it to all who loves times beyond and romance.

Lady Camilla has been running her keep for the past 8 years, and she needs help. Her neighbor is attacking, and Sir Balen and his men step in to help out. The fire between them is consuming, although misunderstandings, both intentional and unintentional, work to keep them apart.
The story is pretty much what you'd expect. There's no surprises, and no disappointment. It was a fast read, but enjoyable.

A wonderful story
Ms Rose always delivers a very enjoyable read this is no exception. A lady in dire straits, a rugged mercenary, and rapacious neighbors combine into an entertaining story.

A warrior after her heart
Balen is instantly smitten when he sees Camilla defending the castle. Too bad she's wed. That won't stop him taking her in hand when needed. A great medieval tale with some spanking good times.

Didn't think I was going to like this book at first but really enjoyed it. It was quite different to the books from Renee that I have read before but was a nice little story the read.

Solid 4 Star Read.
Was looking for something a little different than I normally read, and picked up my second book by this author. Could have done without the miscommunication nonsense, but otherwise the story was engaging and the characters likable.

Camilla has to be careful with Sir Balen, she is not sure to trust him. I love how they do end up together at the end.

Camilla has been left largely alone to defend her castle for eight years. Just as it is on the verge of capture, Sir Balen and his band of mercenaries march in to help save the castle. Sir Balen can’t walk away while Camilla is in need of protection, and stays on to help her repair the battle damage to the castle. Camilla immediately falls for Sir Balen, but can’t give up the freedom she has enjoyed for years. Sir Balen cares deeply for Camilla, but tries to keep his distance thinking she is still bound to her husband.
I really enjoyed reading this story, the cover alone makes it worthy of a one-click purchase. Camilla and Sir Balen’s story made for a smoking hot romance, with lots of juicy discipline scenes. The action adventure side of the story was also well written and really complimented the romance. I would really like to read more from this couple.

Intense and well written book
I was pleasantly surprised by this book! I have never read a historical romance before. I thought it would be boring. It was not! Right from the action pulled me in. The bravery of Lady Camilla was both admirable and at the same time scarily intense. I loved the story arc, the plot was well developed and scene transitions were smooth. Have I mentioned how much I love the characterization and the whole fighting for her own independence track. The protagonists didn't fall into sex at first sight, which was refreshing. I can not even state how intensely I fell in love with this story and maybe this genre too. The action kept me involved from start to finish. It is truly one of the best books that I have read recently. I am now a fan of Renee Rose and her superb writing skills!

I read this originally when it was released in the two book collection. I loved it then and I love it now! Such a well written, romantic story that I read it straight though. Two very strong lead characters, adventure, danger, suspense, romance and some steam make for an excellent read. Quit reading here and start reading this book, you'll be happy you did :) I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an Advanced Reader Copy.

It was fantastic!
A quick read with wonderful writing, great spankings, awesome adventure, a yummy knight who saves the day, and a strong, brave, amazing female counterpart in Lady Camilla.

Another good story from Renee Rose
Not as much angst as I like,but still a good read.
I love the medieval setting.
The characters are believable and likable.

I thoroughly enjoyed this medieval spanking romance. Though short, had a well developed storyline and characters. The spanking and love scenes heated up my kindle. Another sure recommended read.
