Once again Melanie has wowed me with her writing. This book gripped me right away and i did not put it down even once. What could possible be better then an Alpha werewolf and his mate! The emotions in this book are intense, and the characters are very well written. I love the Alpha's mother in this story as well. The balance between good vs evil in this book is perfect. I cannot wait to read more of their antics in the next book!

Rafe is the Alpha of Black Paw, one night while out on patrol him, and a few of his pack find a wolf in horrible condition with a silver collar on. Rafe is not sure at first what is going on but his wolf knows.
Mina was raised in a pack where no one is treated fairly she is not sure now what she got herself in to but it has to be better than the treatment at Twisted Tail.
Once the collar is off Mina, everything changes for herself and Rafe.
Now they are in for the fight of their lives against Griffin the pack leader of Twisted Tail.
Can Rafe protect Mina and rescue her family and others?
How will Mina feel about being an Alpha' Mate?
I cannot wait to find out who gets a story next in the series I hope its Erin and Lucas.

Escaping to destiny
If you are looking for intense emotion and unrelenting action this is the book for you. The author starts the action with the first page and keeps it moving until the very end. Mixed throughout she has the emotional building of relationships with the alpha and his mate, the rest of the pack, and even the beta and the doctor find a shift in their current situation. I truly enjoyed this book and I loved the way the author set us up for future books I can’t wait to read the next book.

The other pack Twisted Tail, still a pack but one ruled by fear, intimidation and hatred, its Alpha rotten to the core not caring for those he was supposed to take care of.
Rafe Erikson a descended of the Norse Berserkers, a man with honor who led his pack well, Mina his fated mate manged to escape her pack and found her mate and the help she needed to get away from the old pack.
With the love she found, she also found that the old Alpha would not stop, will she and Rafe be able to stop what is to come, will their love and their pack survive. Wonderful story and great characters.

She was running for her life from an alpha who wanted to destroy her. He knew his enemies would use any means to get to him to make him weak, even a female. But he did not expect to find his mate beaten and almost broken when his pack found her in their territory.
Excellent start to a series by the author. Action, drama, betrayal and romance and it is the kind that grabs you at the start and wont let go.

Fur Ever Yours has won my heart! I absolutely fell in love with these characters. Rafe and Mina were absolutely meant for each other. The Black Paw Pack is definitely the best! I can't wait to see what's coming next from this tight knit pack.
Melanie James has done it again with this series. I'm absolutely looking forward to the next book in the series.

I would have liked had the author delved further into the lore of the paranormal that was brought up in the prologue. This was just ok for me. I found the Twisted Tail Alpha plot device to be a little to OTT for me. I also found the change in our /h from beginning to end to be unbelievable. The dynamics of the Black Paw pack are good and added some humor to the storyline.

I had an audible credit & used it to purchase this book.
Rafe may be the Alpha of Black Paw but he is not immune to the fickle female that is fate! When his pack comes across a female shifter in dire straits and escort her to him, he immediately recognises her as hit mate, the one thing he didn't plan on!
Mina has barely escaped from the goons sent after her by the Alpha of her pack, Twisted Tail. That pack is all kinds of wrong and she refuses to be forced to mate with the Alpha, she saw what happened to his last mate. But she is terrified what will befall her mother and sisters if she doesn't return.
Griffin is one sick puppy! He really does need to be put down and quickly! I loved Mina's sisters - they are just typical teenagers, not quite taking in the seriousness of the situation. Lucas and Rafe's mum are also strong characters and I loved that Lucas is having similar troubles once his mate has been revealed to him!

Book 1 in the series . The author wrote a story filled with hope , anger , mystery , evil energy . This story has lots of layers that will have you glued to the story till you finish

Mina had no choice but to run from her pack , which is a big no no for a female pack member . But Mina had no choice , the Alpha was evil to his core . He rules with intimidation, he doesn’t care as long as he gets his way .
Along the way Mina runs into another pack. The Alpha in the Pack is Rafe,

Excellent..... Loved it
Can't think of any element in this book that I didn't love. We had action, assholes, and love. Don't you think that makes for the perfect book. Of course we always have to have the damsel in distress that the hot alpha has to rescue from the bad guy.
I always love to watch as a timid abused woman finds her strength to overcome the badness in her life and realize that there is something worth not giving up for. Some man that will prove to her that she can trust him. Always love it when that strong woman then goes out and kicks pass.
Can't wait to see the next installment... Hope it's where Erin gets her head out of her ads about Lucus...lol

>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 1st in the Black Paw Pack series and ends with an HEA. Mina is an abused shifter running from her pack. She is saved by Alpha Rafe and his pack. The romance is fated and quite insta-love. Rafe is protective of Mina and tries to prove his love to her. I dislike romance that is fated. I feel as if a choice is missing.
>The secondary characters need more development. Rafe also needs some exes that can torment Mina a bit. The threats to the pack are weak, with the battles not lasting long at all. This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 4 stars. This book is very short, almost novella length.

Werewolf books usually aren’t my thing—I can’t stand when the word “mate” is thrown around like seasoning and the love story feels forced. But Fur Ever Yours genuinely surprised me in the best way. It wasn’t cringey, and I was hooked from the very beginning.
It made my little Norse pagan heart happy to find a story that included Norse theming without falling into the usual “Thor/Avengers” trap. The mythology elements felt fresh and respectful, not gimmicky.
Mina and Rayne were both likable and had real chemistry. The spice level was just right—present enough to add heat without taking over the story.
Overall, this was an enjoyable read. Not groundbreaking, but definitely better than expected. A solid 3/5 stars with 2/5 spice.

Every woman was stupid, rude or stubborn for no reason. The underlying misogyny is not easy to spot, but it’s there from start to finish. It’s not overt, but the myriad micro aggressions got tiresome after a while. Not to mention the overt hate the bad guy demonstrated. That was not challenged, it seemed the only unacceptable harm to a woman was the physical kind. Or extreme psychological damage. The small details went unchallenged, and men would mansplain constantly, talk down to the women and baby them “for their protection”. The “able bodied fighters” were all men.
Also, it felt drawn out. Way too long, with unnecessary long domestic scenes that only served to put more misogyny into the narrative.

Rafe forces the mate bond to find out who is responsible and thinking maybe he can help heal her wounds. For this, his mother seriously acts like he was the one who beat his mate. I think when someone's life is so obviously in immediate danger that forcing the issue is acceptable. So, since I was obviously supposed to feel endeared toward this woman for threatening to kick her son's ass....I decided that this one just isn't for me.

Awesome to the max with lots of action and adventure
I've read a lot of shifter stories and must say this is truly an awesome one leading the pack of all shifter stories. Two different packs, a female running from the bad pack right into a good one and her true mate. But the bad packs Alpha will not give up on possessing Mina. Lots of action and adventure throughout this well written and very entertaining story to read.

AUDIOBOOK edition
Intense moments, some funny ones and hawt sexy scenes makes this a fun and exciting story about shifters... with a twist. There is a HEA, the journey is not easy but satisfying in the end. I am looking forward to the next book. - 4 stars
Ms. Jackson did good in giving the characters their voices and overall narration. Sentence endings could be less abrupt though and I found that a bit distracting. - 4 stars

Two very different packs, one ruled by fear and abuse and the other run with love and respect so when a she wolf is found shackled by a silver collar and near death on Alpha Rafe Erikson’s land a tale unfolds of love and family but to get the HEA and be truly free there must first be bloodshed.
This is a captivating story with characters that are easy to fall in love with and the narration is good making it an enjoyable book to listen to.

Great story but only for 18 and older
This book had an interesting storyline but was definitely graphic in the sex scenes so if that bothers you skip it. Other than that (and I don't find that an issue) it was an interesting book. The characters were well plotted and had great relationships and family connections. It made for a good story.

Very enjoyable ride! Lots of happenings in the books only to get drawn in even more. Liked both Mina and Rafe and thats rare for me. He's a good alpha and rival pack's alpha not so much. Mina is unfortunately bound in a way to the leader who leads his pack with fear. Rafe's just not having it and will fight for her and for his people.

I love the start of new a new series. Melanie James has wowed me with this story. I'm so hooked that I can wait to start reading book 2. This is Rafe and Mina story, how they met, over came their issues and in the end becoming a wonderful family together.
The characters are well written, and likable. This book can be read as a stand alone.

Rare is Alpha of Black Paw Pack. Mina is running from the alpha of Twisted Tail pack. She barely escapes and is herded by Black Paw wolves to the Alpha. He claims her as his mate immediately. There is so much going on, I couldn't put it down. Great book!
