I live with my husband Dave and dog Buddy. My two children are grown and I have two grandchildren. I love to watch people and that has helped me with my writing. I often use people I watch as characters in my books and I always try to give my characters some of my own values and habits.
I love to create characters and put them in a troubling situation then sit back and let them do all the work. My characters surprise even me at times. At some point in the book, they take on a life of their own and the twists and turns they create becomes the story. Of all the stories, I could write I found I like mystery/thrillers the best. I like to keep my readers guessing until the very end of the book.

Deke’s past has come to revisit him. When he left Maine at 17 he knew he was leaving nothing behind as he, Gator and Reva went to start a new life. Cordy was 12 when Deke took off...with her black heart he never knew anything about. She has made it her mission to find Deke and make him hers. Cordy had grown up to be a woman that would beat her sister and keep her hidden all the while Cricket was taking care of Cordy’s son, which she never wanted.
So what does it take to have Deke rain down hell’s fury on you; you kidnap his twins. Will this be Cassie’s final breaking point or will some miracle happen and bring the kids home safe and sound? What part will Cricket play in all of this and will she be able to keep her nephew safe from his own mother?
This one really brought tears to my eyes and made it a page turner you couldn’t put down.

Really good! So much hurt, pain and a crazy psycho to boot. Whew! Given the circumstances Deke was allowed to be a nut, but that son of a beechnut lost his damn mind! In my mind I was calling him an ass and thought the fruit did not fall far from the tree (I called his dad an ass in my last two reviews).
This story really keeps you wanting to know more. I had a hard time putting this book down. I think it is the best one so far in the series.
Thank God the "old man" (read my other reviews) tune was kept to a minimum. My only gripe about this book is the insta attraction that lands two individuals in bed after only knowing each other for a few hours and all of a sudden the woman is crying out "please" or "I need you." I'm either really naive or this really does happen more then I think.
Cricket (love the name) let her life be stripped away from her to protect the one that she loved. She suffered a lot of loss in her short life, but also gained more then she ever expected to get.

This is the fourth installment of this series and its Deke's story.
Deke leaves home to have a fresh start. Years later he is settled down in a new MC with a wife and two kids. Finally feeling like he has everything he ever wanted Deke is just happy where he is in his life. When Cassie tells him she has a feeling like something bad is about to happen he doesn't take her warning lightly. Watching his surroundings he doesn't see anything out of place but feels someone watching him. Cordy is someone from Deke's past that developed an obsession where Deke is concerned. Cordy has never forgotten or lost hope of locating Deke and one day she finally finds him only to learn his is married to someone else. She gets angry and plots against them to get Deke to see its her he should be with. Everything goes crazy for Deke when his daughters are kidnapped. Will they get them back? Will he remember who Cordy is?
This is an amazing story once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. It'll keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning until end. I would recommend this to any of my book friends.

This is the fourth book in the Sin’s Bastards MC series and boy will it take you on an emotional roller coaster ride. From the beginning to the end, this book will have you glued to your seat. The book opens with a look at Deke as a young man who is leaving his home to start over again. However, there is one eleven-year-old girl, named Cordy, who will never forget him. Fast forward seventeen years and Deke is a grown man with a wife, two kids and a new MC. After ten years and the death of her father, Cordy has finally found the man of her obsession and things are about to hit the fan….because if she cannot have Deke then no one can. The only possible ray of hope may come from Cricket, Cordy’s sister, but she is scared of her sister and what she will do to her and even her own son. This is one drama filled story with multiple storylines taking place within. It will pull at your heartstrings and have you feeling the power of love and the strength of family. If you enjoy reading MC series, then I would add this to your shelf.

i read this book as part of an arc program. In this fourth book of the Sin's Bastards MC series, Deke learns of a threat to his family from his past. When Deke was 17, he left Maine to go to New York and start a new life. Deke is now married with twin toddlers and a baby on the way. When his twins go missing from Redemption House, he vows to get them back and deal with whoever took them. Cordy and Cricket were children when Deke was in Maine. Cordy has been in love with Deke since and she always vowed to find him. When Cordy finds out Deke is married with children, she gets angry and wants Deke for herself. Cordy is crazy and when she kidnaps the twins, she makes Cricket care for them along with Cordy's son Dusty. Cricket is scared of Cordy, but she knows she has to protect the kids. This another great one in this series. It has twists and turns. The dangers keep coming for the MC. Cricket does everything she can to do the right thing, even if she knows it could be dangerous to her. I loved how everyone comes together and protect their own. Great one.

This is the fourth book in the Sin's Bastards MC series and my favorite so far. The blurb sounds like it's going to be Deke's story about a figure from his past, and it is. However, I think this is more Cricket's story and an introduction to a possible relationship for her and Raine. The hell Cricket went through at the hands of her sister, Cordy, growing up until now is something no one should ever have to experience. It's amazing she turned out the way she did. Her relationship with her nephew, Dusty, is heartwarming. That little guy stole the show at times. He had to grow up too much despite his aunt Cricket's best intentions. He was wise beyond his years and so adorable, too. This story brought me to tears. I hope there are good things coming for Cricket and Dusty!

Another sad story with a HEA
This MC has been put through the wringer and it doesn’t look like it’s over yet. Each of these characters have their own story, but I do believe that this one will rank in the top three of them all. Cordy is a psycho that I wouldn’t wish on anyone, but her sister is such a good soul. She’s just been caught up with the wrong person for so long and is finally able to break free and make a lot of things right. I’m actually afraid to see what’s next after the reaction that came with just a single name, but I can’t wait to see how this MC turns out at the same time. It’s full of such good men and women that only want good things for their family and loved ones.

This series just keeps getting better! Deke's world is Cassie and his children, along with his Club. He knows the future is never certain, but he never expects to have a threat to his children, especially from someone in his past that he doesn't even remember. Cricket has been trying to get away from her sister for years, and when she takes Deke's kids she knows she need to make a move. She escapes with her nephew and Deke's daughter and heads for the MC Club. What happens when she shows up with one kid? No spoilers! You'll have to read to see how Deke searches for his son, what happens to Cricket and her dangerously crazy sister! It's fast paced, suspenseful yet sweet and passionate when Cricket finds there is good in the world when Raine comes to her rescue. Just read it now!

IMO this is the best one so far. It's sad, pain filled, scary - due to a psycho bitch. I cried my eyes out because of Dusty and Cricket. I've loved Raine's character from the first intro and he keeps getting better and better. He has a lot of compassion which was desperately needed in this story. Some people thought Deke was an ass in this one but quite frankly I didn't see it. Considering the circumstances I wasn't surprised at all at how he was. Not that I'm condoning anything that Cordy did but there was a part of me that felt sorry for her because she didn't get the help she needed as a child or maybe she was just evil incarnate from birth...who knows. I have a feeling that we may find out more in the next book.

The wonderful work from K.J. Dahlen will have you hooked to this series. I have been reading non-stop and I still remain in awe of every well crafted book. If you have a love of intrigue and drama and just amazingly written books to lose yourself in for a while, then I couldn't recommend this unbelievable MC series by Ms. Dahlen enough. Inside each read you meet superbly designed characters as well as the storyline to match. I am honestly still in awe of her talent.

The reader gets to decide if Cricket is as guilty as Cordy. Will she share the same fate as her sister?
Cricket is like all the female characters who have attracted one of this strong MC alphas, Raine this time, in that she is strong but her baggage has caused her to doubt herself.

Deke's family and the MC are his entire world. He has never loved someone as much as he loves Cassie. So when a blast from his past returns to claim his love all hell breaks loose. Cordy has loved Deke from a very young age. Now she will do anything to get Deke back including stealing his twin babies.
Cordy is seriously off her rocker and when she shows up with the twins at her home, her sister Cricket is beside herself. Cricket makes the choice to do the right thing even if that means facing the wrath of the MC. But there is so much going on here that when the truths are revealed no one knows where the chips may fall.

All is finally right in Deke’s world. He has a stunning wife who loves him, Cassie, two beautiful kids and another on the way, he couldn’t ask for a better life. But his happiness is short lived, he never thought he’d needed to add extra protection when someone from his past comes a knocking and threatens to destroy his family and his heart.

***read in order*** I loved the fact that we get to see a bit of Deke's past and his dedication to his family. I loved Cricket and definitely thought that while she could have been evil with what she had went through she had a huge heart. One thing that did get me was Deke kept saying they protected innocent, but yet he went after Cricket even when she proved that she did the right thing. Definitely a tear jerker!

In another stunning installment I must say the adventures and the conflicts just keep getting more and more riveting. In this phase we meet Deke, son of Bones. Strong leader of the MC but as we go the heat of life gets turned up. Someone is out to play cupid and the prize: Deke. On the adventure you will see pain, love, and the courage to fight against an evil that is startling. This was an amazing read and I do recommend it!

Deke and Cassie are my favorite couple in the Sin’s Bastard MC series and it seems like they can never just maintain their HEA....someone always throws a wrecking ball at these two. This time, they go after their children. This book is a well paced, suspensful page turner from start to finish. And, as in all this series, we meet some new friends and foes. Well done!!!

Another great addition to this series as book 4 takes you on a wild ride with the MC's that will get your hear pumping. So much going on and some things will change. It may bring a tear or two to your eye as well. This series is taking me by storm this week. They are really hard to put down once you get started. Enjoy.

OMG! Like OMG! This series is amazing but this book, Hell’s Fury, is amazeballs!! This book is heartbreaking. It’s intense! It’s painful! It’s bittersweet! It’s hopeful! Every book in this series is just awesome! Aside from some misspellings, common for advanced copies, this book is perfect! I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.

Brilliant!!!
K.J Dahlen has done it again with this story. What a brilliant read that had so many twists and turns that you didn't see coming. It had me hooked and I has a brilliant storyline and all the characters are well develop. This author has written it brilliantly. I would absolutely recommend it!!!

This is my favorite of all the books in this MC series by Dahlen thus far. It has to do with the emotions it provoked. Cricket became a character a rooted for from the start. She goes through so much and still comes out with her head held high. The ending is so emotional, complete tears. Be ready with the tissues. Happy Reading!!!

There is so much happening in this MC world. The storyline is well-written, steamy, suspenseful, has crazy exes and great recurring characters. I liked it. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

Nobody messes with the Sin Bastards, especially Deke's family. This book is just as great as the first one. The plot twists and suspense eep you turning the pages. A must read and to have in your library so you can read over and over again. Love KJ Dalen writing skills

Again, total repeat of Satan's Spawn series, as I like the first series I'm giving it 3 stars but disappointing that it is just a repeat if you have already read the other series.
