The darkest hour is just before dawn, and in Maya’s last hour, the test of faith proves darkest with two more a young woman caught up fighting in the American Civil War, and a German woman institutionalized at the deadly rise of Hitler’s power as he plans to purge Germany of its mentally ill. Maya is tested to a breaking point as she learns the most ethereal of spiritual faith. Faith in herself, in others, in the future, to the path, and to a higher purpose, even when things don’t go as planned.
WOW! I love this series, I thought this was the last, I'm glad it isn't. 2 new lives lived and an amazing revelation in the end. Traveling through time with these characters is just fantastic to me. I love the 'lessons' learned in each book and remembering how each soul affected the other in each life. I love these books and recommend them to everyone I know!!!!
I loved this whole series, particularly when I got to the end of book three and realised there was one more book! What a great story, like nothing I have read before and I need to start another book right away just to get this one out of my head!
Two wars that changed so much about a beacon. The first life we see in this book the life of Jo is very interesting to not only be a female soldier in a time before women were even allowed to be nurses. But to survive Gettysburg then end up being a dancing woman out west it's an interesting life. The second or 12th life of annelie was also such an interesting journey. I think that I would like to know more about this psychiatric hospital where patients created their own garden then escaped by pretending to be ghosts. There are a few places which ring a bell as far as Nazi camps where they gassed then cremated millions of people but I guess I didn't have enough knowledge of a hospital that was turned into one. Maybe the sisters should have gone to America and they would have been able to keep the faith. Such great books I can't wait to read this last life.
I absolutely LOVED this series!! This was a very interesting series and something completely different from anything I've read before. It was intriguing to see how the different people interacted throughout different lives and how their relationships with one another changed. I can't wait for the final book!!
The two lives in this book were long but worth it. I can't wait to read the final book of the series and learn along with Maya in her journey. Great for fans of fantasy and historical fiction.
I enjoyed the author's imagination and I thought the book was well-written. The characters were different in every story, but very well linked. A great book from an indie author.
This series is my favorite for 2020 so far. I got so enthralled with the 12 lives of Maya, that even after completing the 4th books in the series I cannot stop to think of them. Some of the characters are committed to my memory like Kohana and some scenes like to drowning fo the two small boys look in my head as my own vivid memories. I am so eager to read the 5th one! And I am listening quite often now to the Pachelbel's Canon in D... and ...May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
I am never disappointed by L.E. Water's Infinite series. I never want them to end. Amazing book, very deep and a subject that is hard to find novels on (reincarnation) that match my beliefs or at least make me reexamine my own beliefs. Infinite Faith, made me laugh with joy, and cry at times (also sometimes for joy). At times it made me laugh too, and had me in on the edge of my chair hurrying through because could hardly wait to know what was going to happen; or thinking about using toothpicks to hold my eyes open so I could continue to read. Can't wait for the next book from L.E. Waters. Hope it's soon.
i only recently discovered this series and so have managed to read them one after the other which has been great. Unfortunately I now have to wait for the fifth and final book. It's been complicated at times trying to keep up with each of the characters from each life but I have really enjoyed these books and can't wait for the last one.
If you are interested in history and reincarnation I can recommend these books.
This book was very hard to put down. The last book seemed a little drawn out for me but this one completely made up for that. The first story got me a little choked up at the end and the second was spot on for that time period. I like how the author does her research for the time periods she is writing about. My only question is..., what happend to the rabbit in the second story?? It is going to be difficult to hold out for the final book! I cant wait to see how it all wraps up.
Great book to end a wonderful series! This book was intense and very satisfying for a last book. But I would read more! How about another book? How about another series with different people? Waters is a talented writer that I will definitely continue to look for and read.
I started out on book one and was a bit confused. By chapter 3 I got the gist of what was going on. I spent the next three nights (I mean all night for each) on books 2, 3, and 4 . loved every one of them! When does book 5 come out?????? Can't wait!!
Loved it! The lengths to what a soul will go through for just a moment of what it's been seeking is so torturous. I can't wait for the next and final chapter of the next life
A different take in this book. The main character actually remembers her other lives. I am still very much enjoying this series and can't wait for book 5.
